- If the angle valve outlet is 1/2″, it can be connected via the following two fittings.
- Step 3: Connect the 3/8″ or 1/2”female compression end of the inlet hose to the cold water valve. Connect the other end of the inlet hose to the filter inlet. (The inlet is on the cap side marked with “IN”.) The external part of the connector is about 0.1″ long when the hose is inserted in place.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Q: What should I do if water leaks at the connection after installing the filter?
- A: Turn off the cold water valve and check the water leakage. If the leakage is at the connections between the hosesand the cold water valve or inlet hose, remove the hoses and confirm whether the connection gasket is installed in place, or wrap Teflon tape on the external thread. If the water leakage is at the connections between the hoses and the filter, make sure that the hoses are inserted to the end and that the inserted length is about 4/5″.
- Q: Does the filter have to be replaced every 12 months?
- A: Yes, we recommend that the filter be replaced every 12 months. If the filter is overused, bacteria may grow in it and affect the water quality. If the water flow slows down or if many impurities are deposited in the filtration system, the filter may need to be replaced sooner. The service life will vary based on the condition of your water.
- Q: Does the filter need to be flushed after installation?
- A: Yes, we recommend that you turn on the faucet and flush the filter for 5 minutes after installation. The filter media contains coconut shell activated carbon, so there is a small amount of carbon foam in the filter. Flushing will ensure that the filtered water is clear.
- Q: How do I remove the hoses from the filter?
- A: Use your thumb and index finger to press down on the lock sleeve. Use your other hand to pull the hose out of the filter.
- Do not pull out the hose directly, as this will damage the fitting and cause leakage.
