1.1 Intended use
This product is an electrically powered cooler for domestic use. This product is suitable for cooling and freezing food. The product can be used with the supplied AC adapter or directly with a 12V/24V power supply via a cigarette lighter in a vehicle, caravan or boat or at the campsite. This product should not be used in industrial or commercial environments. This product should be protected from the weather and should not be used by children, infants or people with limited manual dexterity or cognition.
The supplier is released from liability for any injury or damage caused by using the product beyond its intended use. Any modification of the product may affect your safety and warranty.

Before use, read the manual and safety information carefully. The supplier is not responsible for failure to follow the safety information on the use and handling of the product or damage to property or personal injury.
Always observe the following precautions when using ‘the Electric cooler with compressor’, hereinafter referred to as ‘the product’.
2.1 General

  • If this is your first time using the product, it is important to read the user manual and instructions carefully.
  • If the product is malfunctioning, dropped or damaged, do not use the product and consult our customer service.
  • Before each use, check the parts and accessories for damage or wear (cracks/ breakage) that may adversely affect its operation and, if so, replace them with original or manufacturer-recommended parts and accessories.
  • Do not cover the product even when it is off.
  • Use the product only for the purposes indicated in this user manual.
  • Always use the product on a level surface and provide clearance under and around the motor housing. To prevent fire, keep the vents on the bottom of the motor housing free from dust and lint, never expose them to liquids or flammable materials such as newspapers, napkins, tea towels, etc.
  • Do not disassemble, repair or restore the product. Doing so may cause damage to the product. For your own safety, these parts should only be replaced by authorized service personnel. Always steer the product to service center for repairs to prevent damage and personal injury.
  • The product is designed and intended for private use. Do not use the product for commercial purposes.
  • Keep the product away from heat, areas where the temperature is relatively high and heat sources such as ovens.
  • Be aware of the risks and consequences associated with improper use of the product. Misuse of the product may result in personal injury and damage to the product.
  • Do not move the product when it is on.
  • The product is intended for domestic use only, and not: in staff kitchens, in stores, in offices and other work environments, by customers in hotels, motels and other residential environments, in bed & breakfast environments, on farms etc.
  • Do not use the product in temperatures above 55˚C.
  • Do not store explosive substances such as aerosols containing flammable propellant near the product.
  • After unpacking and before switching on, the product should be placed on a flat surface for more than 6 hours.
  • This product is suitable for refrigerating and freezing food.
  • This product should not be used in industrial or commercial environments.
  • Do not put a cover over the product when it is on.
  • Check that the cooling capacity of the product is suitable for storing the food or medicine. Food should only be stored in its original packaging or in suitable containers.
  • If the product is left empty for a long time, turn it off, defrost, clean, dry and leave the door open to prevent mold from developing inside the product.

2.2 Persons

  • This product may be used by children 8 years of age and older, provided they are properly supervised and instructed in the safe use of the product and understand its potential hazards. Cleaning and maintenance of the product should not be performed by children unless they are over 8 years of age and supervised. Keep the product and cord out of the reach of children under 8 years of age.

2.3 Usage

  • The product should only be connected to a grounded 220-240V outlet.
  • Do not cover the product when it is on. Never place pillows or blankets on or against the product. Doing so may cause a fire hazard, electric shock, personal injury or damage to the product.

  • Make sure the ventilation system is not blocked when the product is on. This may lead to overheating. Keep at least 10 cm of space around the ventilation grid.
  • Make sure that the product remains horizontal when it rotates. The tilt angle should be less than 5 degrees for prolonged use and less than 45 degrees for short-term use.
  • Keep the product stable on the ground or in the car; do not run it upside down.
  • Use the product only when necessary. Do not leave the product in operation indefinitely.
  • Place the unit on a dry, level surface; avoid excessive rocking and waves when on a boat. Do not use in rough seas where vibrations are prominent.
  • Keep the product away from extreme heat sources or direct sunlight.
  • The cooling compartments should not be filled with liquid or ice. They should be secured in a container before storage.

2.4 Electrical

  • Do not disassemble, repair or restore the product. This may cause damage to the product. For your own safety, these parts should only be replaced by authorized service personnel. Always steer the product to a service center for repairs to prevent damage and personal injury.
  • If the power fails during use, turn off the product immediately and unplug the product.
  • If the surface of the product is cracked, turn off the product to avoid electric shock.
  • Check both power cord and plug regularly for signs of damage or wear, and if there is any, do not use the product and have the power cord and/or plug replaced or repaired by authorized service personnel.

  • Do not use an extension cord. Make sure the product is plugged into a grounded outlet to which no other appliances are connected.

  • Do not tuck the power cable under rugs or blankets. Make sure the cable is never in a walkway.
  • Do not move the product when it is on. Always turn the product off before moving or cleaning it.
  • Do not move the product by pulling the cord or twist the cord.
  • Before first use, remove all packaging material and any stickers.
  • Before connecting the product, make sure that the mains voltage indicated on the rating plate matches that of your mains supply.
  • Make sure that no other devices are plugged into the same outlet, or another outlet in the same circuit, so as not to overload the plug.
  • Make sure you do not trip over the cable and that the cable is not kinked, twisted, or stuck.
  • Do not use electrical appliances in the food compartments of the product unless they are of the type recommended by the manufacturer.
  • The product can be operated via the supplied AC adapter or directly via a 12V/24V power supply provided via a cigarette lighter in a vehicle, caravan or boat or at the campsite.
  • Replace the fuse with one of equivalent value. Consult an expert to analyze why the fuse blew before putting the product back into service.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

3.1 Before using for the first time
When the product is turned on, a beep sound will be heard for 2 seconds before the product goes into standby mode.

Press the ON/OFF button to turn the product on or off.
3.4 Temperature setting

  1. Press or to set the desired temperature.
  2. Press to increase or to decrease. The set temperature will automatically be remembered if you do not press any buttons for 4 seconds.

ATTENTION!

  • The temperature you see on the display is the current temperature of the compartment on the inside of the product. It takes a while until the desired temperature is reached.

3.5 Switching between cooling modes
While the product is on, press to switch between MAX (fast cooling) and ECO (energy-saving mode). The factory setting is MAX.
3.6 Temperature unit settings

  1. Turn off the product.
  2. Press for three seconds until E1 appears and continue to press until E5 appears.
  3. Then press or to select Celsius or Fahrenheit. The factory setting is Celsius.

3.7 Battery protection mode

  1. While the product is on, press for three seconds until the display flashes.
  2. Then press to select protection mode H (High), M (Medium) and L (Low). The factory setting is H.

Note

  • The voltage is a theoretical value, there may be a deviation in different scenarios.
  • H should be set when the product is connected to auto power. M or L should be set when the product is connected to a portable battery or other backup battery.

3.9 Reset

  1. Turn off the product.
  2. Press for three seconds until E1 appears.
  3. In E1 mode: press simultaneously until the display shows 888.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Problem Cause/Solution
The product is not working. •Check that the switch is on.

•Check that the plug and socket are connected properly.
•Check if the fuse is blown.
•Check if the power supply is faulty.
•Frequently turning the product on and off may cause a compressor startup delay.
The product compartments are too hot.| Possible cause: the lid has been opened frequently.
•A large amount of hot or warm food has been stored recently.
•The product has not been plugged in for a long time.
The food is frozen.| The temperature is set too low.
There is a “water flow” sound from inside the product.| This is normal. This is caused by the flow of the refrigerant
There are water droplets around the product casing or lid opening.| This is normal. The moisture condenses to water when it hits a cold surface of the product.
The compressor makes a little noise when starting.| This is normal. The noise decreases after the compressor operates stably.

•Adjust battery protection from High to Medium or from Medium to Low.
Code F2 is displayed.| Possible cause: the condenser fan is overloaded.
•Turn off power to the product for 5 minutes and restart. If the code appears again, contact our customer service.
Code F3 is displayed.| Possible cause: the compressor starts too often.
• Turn off power to the product for 5 minutes and restart. If the code appears again, contact our customer service.
Code F4 is displayed.| Possible cause: compressor does not turn on.
• Turn off power to the product for 5 minutes and restart. If the code reappears, contact our customer service department.
Code F5 is displayed.| Possible cause: overheating of the compressor and electronics.
• Turn off power to the product for 5 minutes and restart. If the code appears again, contact our customer service.
Code F6 is displayed.| Possible cause: the controller cannot detect a parameter.
• Turn off power to the product for 5 minutes and restart. If the code appears again, contact our customer service.
Code F7 or F8 is displayed.| Possible cause: temperature sensor is defective.
• Please contact our customer service.

MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING

5.1 Cleaning

  • Disconnect the power supply before each cleaning, maintenance and after each use.
  • Clean the product with a damp, clean cloth and dry it thoroughly.
  • Do not use abrasive or harsh cleaning agents.
  • Do not immerse the product, power cord or plug in water.

5.2 Defrosting
Moisture can form frost on the inside of the product or on the evaporator. This reduces the cooling capacity. Defrost the unit in time to prevent this.

  1. First turn off the product and unplug the power cord to avoid electric shock.
  2. Remove all parts that are inside the product.
  3. Keep the lid open.
  4. Wipe away the defrosted water.

ATTENTION!

  • Never use hard or pointed tools to remove ice or frozen objects. Do not use mechanical or other means to speed up the defrosting process other than those recommended by the manufacturer. Do not damage the cooling circuit.

STORAGE

Store the product in a dry, clean place. Do not store the product in extremely high or low temperatures. The recommended storage temperature is 25˚C with humidity ≥75%.
If the product is not going to be used for an extended period of time, follow these instructions:

  1. Turn off the product.
  2. Remove all parts inside the product.
  3. Dry all moisture inside the product with a clean cloth.
  4. Store the product in a dry, clean place.
  5. Leave the lid slightly open to prevent unpleasant odors and mold.

DISPOSAL AND RECYCLE

Think about the environment and contribute to a cleaner living environment! You can contact your local council for all information on disposal options for discarded products.
7.1 Disposal
At the end of its life, do not dispose of the product with normal household waste, but hand it in at a government designated collection point for recycling.
Dispose of the packaging and accessories in accordance with the environmental regulations in force in your local council. Pay attention to the symbols on the different packaging materials and – if necessary – dispose of them separately. The packaging materials are marked with letters and numbers: 1-7: plastic, 20-22: paper and cardboard, 80-98 composite materials.
7.2 Electric appliance
The symbol shown here with the crossed-out garbage can indicates that this product is subject to European Directive (EU) 2012/19/EU. This directive states that at the end of its service life, you must not dispose of this product with normal household waste, but hand it in at a government designated collection point for recycling.
7.3 Refrigerant
This product contains the refrigerant R600A propane. The system is hermetically sealed. The refrigerant must be disposed of without damage according to the regulations of your local council. If in doubt, contact your local council.
