MANUAL WATERING

  • OPTION 1: Turn the “Frequency” dial to the “Reset” position. The timer will enter into manual watering mode. Select the duration of time required. The timer will begin watering immediately and will continue for the duration of time selected. The “Delay” function will not operate in this case. Once the time is up, the timer will stop working until you schedule it again.
  • OPTION 2: With any frequency option selected, place the “Duration” dial in the ON position. The timer will remain open until the battery has been drained, or until you change the position of the “Duration” dial.

START TIME AND DELAY FEATURE (OPTIONAL)

  • The timer will use the current time as its starting time, at the moment in which you insert the batteries or at the moment in which you turn the “Frequency” dial to the “Reset” position. Use the “Delay” button to avoid having to wait until the required start time. Press “Delay” for 2 seconds.
  • The LED light will remain lit up.
  • Now press the button as many times as is necessary (up to 23 times).
  • Each time you press the button, you will delay the onset of the watering cycle by 1 hour. If you do not wish to use this function, wait 3 seconds and it will deactivate automatically. See Example 2 for further information.

LED BATTERY: TESTING THE BATTERY AND PROGRAMMING:

  • Each time you turn the “Frequency” and/or “Duration” dials you will see a rapid, continuous blinking of the LED light for several seconds.
  • The LED light will then stop blinking, meaning that the timer has memorized the changes.
  • The LED will light up intermittently, every 4 seconds.
  • However, if the battery is low, it will light up every second.
  • This is the time to replace the batteries. Once the batteries have been drained, the valve will close for safety reasons.

“RESET” FUNCTION:
With this function, you can avoid having to take the batteries out of the timer when you want to reset it. Place the watering “Frequency” dial in the “Reset” position. You will see a rapid, continuous blinking of the LED light, which will then stop blinking, meaning that the timer has been reset.

WATERING EXAMPLES

EXAMPLE 1

  • Daily watering for 30 minutes starting from 08:00 in the morning:
  • At 08:00, place the “Frequency” dial in the “Reset” position and wait until the LED light stops blinking.
  • Place the “Duration” dial in the 30 m. position and the “Frequency” dial in the 24 h. position. Watering will begin on the following day at 08:00 a.m.

EXAMPLE 2
Daily watering for 60 minutes, starting from 20:00:

  • At any time, place the “Frequency” dial in the “Reset” position and wait for the LED light to stop blinking. Let’s imagine that it’s 16:00.
  • The “Delay” function prevents us from having to wait until 20:00 to program the cycle. Place the “Duration” dial in the 60 m. position and the “Frequency” dial in the 24 h. position.
  • Activate the “Delay” function, holding the button down for 2 seconds. With the LED lit up, press the “Delay” button 4 times (16 + 4 = 20 h.). The first watering cycle will take place at 20:00 today.

IMPORTANT: the “Frequency” of the watering cycle must always be greater than the “Duration”. (For example: you cannot water every hour for a duration of more than 60 minutes).

TROUBLESHOOTING

How can I change the time of the watering cycle?

  • For the timer, the time of the watering cycle will always be the time at which you insert the batteries.

If no water comes out, check the following:

  1. The tap is turned off. Turn the tap on.
  2. The batteries have run out. Replace with new batteries.
  3. Check that both dials are in the required position.
  4. Remember that the “Frequency” of the watering cycle must always be greater than the “Duration”.
  5. If the timer still does not work, contact the establishment from which it was bought.
