IMPORTANT SAFETY

• UK Only: This appliance must not be used in the bathroom.

• Outside the UK: If using the appliance in a bathroom, unplug after use as the proximity of water can be dangerous even if the appliance is switched off. For additional protection the installation of a residual current device (RCD) with a rated residual operating current not exceeding 30mA is advisable in the electrical circuit supplying the bathroom. Ask your installer for advice.
  WARNING! Do not use this appliance near water contained in basins, bathtubs or other vessels.

• Do not use this appliance in the bathroom.

• Do not immerse the appliance in water or other liquids.

• Never look directly into the barrel of the hairdryer when it is switched on.

• Always inspect the appliance before use for noticeable signs of damage. Do not use if damaged, or if the appliance has been dropped. In the event of damage, discontinue use immediately and contact the Conair Customer Care Line (refer to ‘UK After Sales Service’ section).

• Do not use the appliance if the lead is damaged. In the event of lead damage, discontinue use immediately and contact the Conair Customer Care Line (refer to ‘UK After Sales Service’ section).

• Do not leave the appliance unattended when switched on or plugged in.

• This unit is equipped with a safety thermostat. In the event of overheating the appliance will either stop automatically or run hot and cold intermittently.
  Should this happen, switch the dryer to the ‘0’ position, unplug and allow to cool for 10 minutes. Before use, ensure the rear filter is clear of hair and other debris. Plug in and switch on. If the appliance continues to overheat discontinue use immediately,  switch off and unplug, and contact the Conair Customer Care Line (refer to ‘UK After Sales Service’ section for further information).

• Take care that the air vents do not become blocked when in use. Make sure the rear filter is clear of hair and other debris before use.

• Do not place the appliance on any heat sensitive surface whilst in operation.

• Take care to avoid the hot surface of the appliance coming into direct contact with the skin, in particular the ears, eyes, face and neck.

• This appliance should not be used by adults whose reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or whose lack of experience and knowledge, might cause a hazard, unless they have been correctly instructed to understand the safe use and hazards involved and are adequately supervised.

• Allow appliance to cool before storing away.

• After use, do not coil the lead around the appliance as this may cause damage to the lead. Instead, coil the lead loosely by the side of the appliance.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

• Towel dry and detangle hair.
• Plug the appliance into a suitable mains socket.
• Select the required heat and speed settings.
• After use, switch off and unplug the appliance.
• Allow to cool before storing away.

IMPORTANT: Always keep the rear of the appliance away from the hair during use to prevent it being drawn in through the rear air filter.
Controllable Heat
Precise heat and speed control with 3 speed and 4 temperature settings to achieve perfect results on any hair type and texture, from the most fine and sensitive to the thickest and coarsest and the shortest to the longest.
A cold shot gives hair shine, perfect hold and sets the hairstyle.
Memory Function
Smart detection automatically memorizes the last settings used. The last mode used remains in the memory until the next use.
Ionic Technology
A central ionic generator allows an in-depth action of the millions of negative ions generated and decreases tension due to static electricity at the surface of the hair.
Concentrator Nozzles
Use the concentrator nozzles to direct the airflow as you style.
Nozzle 4 x 70mm: Ultra-thin for optimal air pressure perfectly controlled and even more effective.
Nozzle 6 x 60mm: Straight and narrow, ideal for straightening because it helps create the necessary tension on the hair.
Diffuser
Large diffuser with 18 fingers and optimized air for perfect curl drying.
IMPORTANT! Only use the diffuser on the lowest heat / speed setting.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

To keep your hairdryer in the best possible condition and maintain optimum performance, please follow the steps below:

• Do not wrap the lead around the appliance, instead coil the lead loosely by the side of the dryer.
• Always unplug after use.
• Do not use the hairdryer at a stretch from the power point.

Cleaning the filter

• Ensure the dryer is switched off, unplugged and cool.
• Holding the handle of the dryer, pull the magnetic rear filter to remove.
• Using a soft brush, clean any hair and other debris from the filter.
• Replace the rear filter.
• To clean the outside of the dryer, wipe with a damp cloth. Ensure the dryer is completely dry before use and no water enters inside.

BaByliss PRO FALCO’s magnetic filter is self-aligning and can be easily removed and cleaned. For added safety, power automatically shuts off when the filter is removed.

UK GUARANTEE
This BaByliss PRO appliance is guaranteed for professional use for 2 years and is only valid within the United Kingdom.
Exclusions
This guarantee will no longer be valid meaning that The Conair Group Ltd will not be liable to repair or replace your product where:

1. The appliance has been used on a voltage supply other than that which is marked on the product, or advised within this instruction booklet.
2. The appliance has been purchased from an unauthorised stockist*.
3. Repairs or alterations have been attempted by unauthorised persons.
4. The failure of the appliance is a direct result of misuse.
5. The failure is a result of not following the instructions for use.

This guarantee does not cover any cosmetic damage due to misuse of the product nor any damage to persons or property that occurs because of product misuse.
*unauthorised stockists include, but are not limited to online auction sites, private sellers and those selling second hand goods, refurbished products etc.
