Product Usage Instructions

Facility

  1. Disconnect power at the main fuse box before installation.
  2. Carefully pull house wires down out of the junction box to easily access and connect fixture wires.
  3. Position the mounting bracket with the head of the ground screw and the longer end of the threaded pipe pointing down towards the floor.
  4. Place the mounting bracket up against the junction box and align each slot in the mounting bracket with each hole in the junction box.
  5. Thread one junction box screw into each slot in the mounting bracket and into the holes in the junction box. Tighten the junction box screws to secure the mounting bracket to the junction box.
  6. Thread the swivel onto the end of the threaded pipe attached to the mounting bracket. Ensure that the house wires are still easily accessible and avoid pinching them between the mounting bracket and ceiling.
  7. Rotate the arms until they are evenly spaced apart.
  8. At least one 6-inch stem must be used.
  9. Carefully push the fixture wires up through the bottom of the swivel attached to the threaded pipe on the mounting bracket. Pull the fixture wires out of the top of the threaded pipe and ensure they are easily accessible to connect to the house wires.
  10. Thread the end of the last stem onto the swivel. Avoid pinching wires between the stem and swivel.
  11. Slightly loosen the ground screw on the mounting bracket. Wrap the ground wire from the junction box around the ground screw, leaving enough ground wire to attach to the fixture ground wire.
    • Twist the end of the fixture ground wire and the end of the house ground wire together. Attach a wire nut onto the ends of the wires and completely tighten it. Refer to the chart for correct wire connections.
  12. Twist the end of the house lead wire (black) and the end of the fixture lead wire together. Attach a wire nut onto the ends of the wires and completely tighten it. Twist the end of the house neutral wire (white) and the end of the fixture neutral wire together.
    • Attach a wire nut onto the ends of the wires and completely tighten it. Refer to the chart for correct wire connections.
  13. Wrap electrical tape (not included) around the wire nuts and wires to ensure they are securely fastened.
  14. Carefully push all wires and wire nuts into the junction box.
  15. Connect the black lead supply (house) wire to either a black wire, a parallel cord (round and smooth), or a parallel cord (flat and smooth). Refer to the chart for correct wire connections.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTION

  1. Carefully pull house wires down out of the junction box so house wires are easily accessed to connect fixture wires.

  2. Position the mounting bracket so the head of the ground screw and the longer end of the threaded pipe is pointing down towards the floor. Place mounting bracket (A) up against the junction box. Align each slot in mounting bracket (A) with each hole in a junction box.

  3. Thread one junction box screw (B) into each slot in the mounting bracket (A) and into holes in the junction box. Tighten junction box screws (B) to secure mounting bracket (A) to the junction box.

  4. Thread swivel (E) onto the end of threaded pipe attached to mounting bracket (A).
CAUTION: Make sure house wires are still easily accessible. DO NOT pinch wires between the mounting bracket and ceiling.

  5. Rotate arms until arms are evenly spaced apart.

    • IMPORTANT: At least one 6-inch stem must be used.
  6. Carefully push fixture wires up through the bottom of the 6-inch stem (N). Pull fixture wires out of the top of the 6-inch stem (N). Screw the bottom of the 6-inch stem (N) onto the top of the fixture body (O).

  7. Determine the desired hanging height of the fixture. Select the number of stems (M) to achieve that height.

  8. Carefully push fixture wires through stems (M). Screw stems (M) together keeping fixture wires taut. DO NOT pinch fixture wires between stems.

  9. Slip threaded ring (F) down over the end of the last stem.

  10. Position canopy (D) so the outside of the canopy is pointing down towards the fixture. Slip a hole in the canopy (D) over the end of the stem.

  11. Strip approx. 1/2” of insulation from ends of fixture wires.

  12. Carefully push fixture wires up through the bottom of swivel (E) attached to the threaded pipe on mounting bracket (A). Pull fixture wires out of the top of the threaded pipe. Carefully pull fixture wires so they are easily accessible to connect to house wires.

  13. Thread the end of the last stem onto swivel (E). DO NOT pinch wires between stem and swivel (E).

  14. Slightly loosen the ground screw on the mounting bracket (A). Do not completely remove the ground screw. Wrap ground wire from the junction box around a ground screw, leaving enough ground wire to attach to fixture ground wire. Twist the end of the fixture ground wire and the end of the house ground wire together. Twist wire nut (C) onto the ends of the wires. Completely tighten wire nut (C). Reference the chart below for correct wire connections.
Connect Supply (House) Ground Copper Wire to:
