Unpacking the Appliance
- Remove the appliance from its packaging.
- Remove all packaging material, such as foils, filling material, cable ties, and cardboard packaging.
- For protection, a cover is fitted over the needle at the bottom of the measuring cup. To avoid injury, we recommend that you replace the cover after use.
- Check the scope of delivery for completeness.
- If the contents of the packaging are incomplete or if damage can be detected, do not operate the appliance. Return it to the dealer immediately.

Unpacking the Appliance

Remove the appliance from its packaging.

Remove all packaging material, such as foils, filling material, cable ties and cardboard packaging.

Warnings for the Use of the Appliance
- Hot steam escapes from the steam holes and when opening the cover! Open the cover with the handle so that the steam can escape to the back.
- Avoid injuries from the egg-piercing needle! There is a needle on the underside of the measuring cup with which you can pierce the eggs. Therefore, be careful when using the measuring cup.
Notes for Use
- The appliance is suitable for the preparation of
- 1 – 8 boiled eggs;
- 1 – 3 poached eggs;
- 1 – 3 small omelets.
- The cooking time is determined by the amount of water poured into the hob.
- Use the measuring cup included in the scope of delivery to determine the amount of water.
Meaning of the Symbols
- Soft boiled eggs
- Medium hard-boiled eggs
- Hard-boiled eggs
- Use the scale next to the egg symbols as a guide for the number of eggs to boil.
- The indications on the scale are average values for eggs of size M. The hardness of the cooked eggs depends on various factors: Size and temperature of the eggs.
- The preferred cooking level of the eggs can be found out quickly by trial and error.
- If the eggs are too hard, add a little less water than indicated to the cooking tray or a little more if the eggs are too soft.
Using the Omelette / Poaching Insert
- Determine the amount of water on the scale with the marking .
- Lightly grease the wells in the insert with butter or margarine to make it easier to remove the cooked egg later.
- Fill with a maximum of 1 beaten egg per well.
- Place the omelette/poaching insert on the egg holder.
Electrical Connection
- Check whether the mains voltage you want to use matches that of the appliance. You will find the information on the type plate.
- Only connect the appliance to a properly installed protective contact socket.
Operation

Make sure that the on / off switch is in position 0 (off).

Place the appliance horizontally on a flat and dry surface.
This must be non-slip and heat-resistant. -
Pour water into the cooking hob according to the markings on the measuring cup for the quantity of eggs to be boiled.

Put the egg holder in place.

Prick the eggs on the blunt side so that they do not crack during cooking. To do this, use the pricking needle on the underside of the measuring cup.

Place the eggs in the egg holder with the pierced side up.

Put the cover on.

Insert the mains plug into a properly installed protective contact socket.

Switch on the appliance at the on / off switch. The control lamp lights up.

The eggs are ready when the beep sounds. The control lamp goes out. Switch off the appliance and pull the mains plug out of the socket.

WARNING: Danger of Scalding!
Open the cover with the handle so that the steam can escape to the back. -
Remove the egg holder by the handles. This allows you to briefly rinse the eggs under cold water to prevent overcooking.

Let the appliance cool down before using it again, cleaning or storing it.
Cleaning
WARNING
- Switch off the appliance and pull the mains plug out of the socket before cleaning the appliance.
- Never immerse the appliance in water for cleaning. It could cause an electric shock or fire.
- Only clean or store the appliance when it has cooled down. Risk of burns!
CAUTION
- Do not use a wire brush or other abrasive objects.
- Do not use harsh or abrasive cleaning agents.
- Take up the residual water in the hob with a dishcloth.
- In this way, you remove limescale residues at the same time.
- If necessary, clean the outside of the appliance with a slightly damp cloth without additives.
- You can clean the cover, the egg holder and the omelette/poaching insert in warm dishwater with a little hand dishwashing liquid. Dry all parts before reassembling and storing the appliance.
De-scaling
- The intervals between de-scaling depend on the hardness of the water and the frequency of use.
- If the appliance switches off before the water boils, de-scaling is necessary.
- Do not use vinegar, but a commercially available de-scaling agent based on citric acid. Follow the manufacturer’s dosage instructions.
Storage
- Clean the appliance as described. Allow the accessories to dry completely.
- We recommend storing the appliance in its original packaging if you do not intend to use it for a longer time.
- Always store the appliance out of the reach of children in a well-ventilated and dry place.
Troubleshooting

remove if it is too thick.
