Product Information
This product is a light fixture designed for installation in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local code specifications. Product Usage Instructions
Before Installation:
- Disconnect power at the main fuse box.
- Ensure you have all the parts and packages from the box. If anything is missing, contact the retailer.
Installation Steps:
- Position the mounting bracket (A) with the threaded ends of the fixture mounting screws (E) facing out.
- Pull the house wires through the large hole in the mounting bracket (A) and align the holes in the bracket with the holes in the junction box.
- Thread each junction box screw (B) into the holes of the mounting bracket (A) and junction box. Tighten the screws to secure the bracket to the box.
- Strip 3/4 of insulation from the ends of the fixture wires.
- Attach the safety cable to the mounting bracket (A).
- Loosen the ground screw on the bracket (A) and wrap the house ground wire (copper) around it. Twist the end of the fixture ground wire and the house ground wire together, then secure them with a wire nut (C).
- Twist the end of the house lead wire (black) and the fixture lead wire together, then secure them with a wire nut (C). Repeat this step for the house neutral wire (white) and fixture neutral wire.
- Wrap electrical tape around the wire nuts and wires to ensure a secure connection.
- Carefully push all wires and wire nuts into the junction box.
- Place the backplate (D) over the mounting bracket (A) and pass the holes in the backplate over the ends of the fixture mounting screws (E).

This fixture is intended for installation in accordance with the National

recommended. Before assembly, remove all parts and part packages from box. If
anything is missing, please contact the retailer from which the product was
purchased.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
- Position mounting bracket (A) so threaded ends of attached fixture mounting screws (E) are facing out.
- Carefully pull house wires through a large hole in the mounting bracket (A). Align holes in mounting bracket (A) with holes in junction box. Make sure fixture mounting screws (E) are level.
- Thread each junction box screw (B) into holes in mounting bracket (A) and into holes in the junction box. Tighten junction box screws (B) to secure mounting bracket (A) to junction box.
- CAUTION: Make sure house wires are pulled completely through hole in the mounting bracket. DO NOT pinch wires between mounting bracket and wall.

Strip 3/4” of insulation from the ends of fixture wires.
Connect Supply (House) Ground Copper Wire to:Bare Copper Wire or,
Bare Silver Wire or,
Green Insulated Wire. - Attach safety cable to mounting bracket (A).
- Slightly loosen the ground screw on the mounting bracket (A). Do not completely remove the ground screw. Wrap house ground wire (copper) around the ground screw, leaving enough ground wire to attach to the fixture ground wire. Twist the end of the fixture ground wire and end of house ground wire together. Twist wire nut (C) onto ends of wires. Completely tighten wire nut (C). Reference the chart below for correct wire connections.

*When parallel wire (SPT 1 & SPT 2) is used: The lead wire is round in shape or smooth. The neutral wire is square in shape or ridged.
- Twist end of the house lead wire (black) and the end of fixture lead wire together. Twist wire nut (C) onto ends of wires. Completely tighten wire nut (C). Twist end of house neutral wire (white) and end of fixture neutral wire together. Twist wire nut (C) onto ends of wires. Completely tighten wire nut (C). Reference chart to the right for correct wire connections.
- Wrap electrical tape (not included) around wire nuts (C) and wires. Ensure wires are securely fastened into wire nuts.
- Carefully push all wires and wire nuts into junction box.
- Place backplate (D) over mounting bracket (A). Pass holes in backplate (D) over ends of fixture mounting screws (E). CAUTION: Do not pinch wires between backplate and wall.
- Screw one threaded cap (F) onto end of each fixture mounting screw (E). Tighten both threaded caps (F) to secure fixture (D) to wall. DO NOT over tighten.
- Ensure that clips along the bottom inside of cage are pressed downward to allow glass panels (K) to fit in front of clips.
- Carefully insert one glass panel (K) inside cage. Fit top of glass panel (K) into channel along top of inside of cage. Press glass panel against inside of cage. Carefully press clip up against glass panel (K) to hold glass panel (K) in place.
- Repeat step 13 for the remaining glass panels (K).
- Screw recommended bulbs (E12 candelabra bulb type, not included) into sockets. Verify correct bulb wattage marked on socket of fixture.
- WARNING : DO NOT exceed maximum bulb wattage.
Instructions for Mounting Fixture Outdoors or in Wet Location
- The mounting surface should be clean, dry, flat, and 1/4” larger than the canopy on all sides. Any gaps between the mounting surface and canopy exceeding 3/16” should be corrected as required.
- Apply silicone caulking compound around the top and sides of the canopy where back of the canopy meets the wall surface to prevent water from seeping into the junction box. Leave the bottom unsealed so moisture can drain out.
MAINTENANCE
NOTE: Only use a soft damp cloth to clean the fixture as needed. DO NOT use harsh chemicals on fixtures. Harsh chemicals may damage the fixture. Coastal conditions may cause mineral and residue buildup on the fixture. It is recommended that customers in coastal areas clean all external surfaces of fixtures once every two weeks with a wet cloth.
