Product Usage Instructions
- Warning
- Before installation, disconnect the power at the main fuse box.
- This fixture is intended for installation by the National Electrical Code (NEC) and all local code specifications. If you are not familiar with code requirements, it is recommended to have the installation done by a certified electrician.
- Assembly
- Carefully pull house wires down out of the junction box so they are easily accessible to connect fixture wires.
- Remove all parts and part packages from the box. If anything is missing, please contact the retailer from which the product was purchased.
- Place the mounting bracket (A) up against the junction box, ensuring that the screw collar loop (E) is pointing down towards the floor. Align each slot in the mounting bracket (A) with each hole in the junction box.
- Thread one junction box screw (B) into each slot in the mounting bracket (A) and into the holes in the junction box.
- Tighten the junction box screws (B) to secure the mounting bracket (A) to the junction box. Make sure the house wires are still easily accessible and not pinched between the mounting bracket and ceiling.
- Fixture Assembly
- Rotate the arms until they are evenly spaced apart.
- Carefully push the fixture wires up through the stem (M). Pull the fixture wires out of the top of the stem (M) and pull them taut. Screw the bottom of the stem (M) onto the top of the fixture body (O), ensuring not to pinch the fixture wires between the fixture body and stem.
- Push the fixture wires up through the hole in the center of the arch (P). Lower the arch (P) down over the stem (M) on top of the fixture body (O). Pass the threaded pipe on top of the stem (M) through the hole in the center of the arch (P).
- Push the fixture wires through the bottom of the loop (L). Screw the loop (L) onto the top of the stem (M).
- Chain and Canopy Installation
- Connect one locking link (G) to the loop (L).
- Determine the desired hanging height of the fixture and cut the chain (H) to achieve it.
- Slip the chain link at the end of the chain (H) onto the locking link (G) on loop (L).
- Weave the fixture wires through chain links, skipping every other chain link.
- Slip the threaded ring (F) down over the end of chain (H).
- Position the canopy (D) so that the outside is pointing down towards the fixture. Slip the hole in the canopy (D) over the end of the chain (H).
- Wiring
- Strip 3/4 of the insulation from the ends of the fixture wires.
- Carefully push the fixture wires up through the hole in the screw collar loop (W) attached to the mounting bracket (A) and out of the end of the threaded pipe inside the junction box. Carefully pull the fixture wires so they are easily accessible to connect to the house wires.
- To aid in connecting fixture wires to house wires, temporarily connect a second locking link (G) to the link at the end of the chain (H) and the screw collar loop (W).
- Slightly loosen the ground screw on the mounting bracket (A), but do not completely remove it. Wrap the house ground wire (copper) around the ground screw, leaving enough ground wire to attach to the fixture ground wire.
- Twist the end of the fixture ground wire and the end of the house ground wire together. Twist the wire nut (C) onto the ends of the wires and completely tighten it.
- Refer to the chart below for correct wire connections.
- Frequently Asked Questions

INSTALLATION
- Carefully pull house wires down out of the junction box so house wires are easily accessed to connect fixture wires.
- If the screw collar loop (W) is already attached to the mounting bracket (A), proceed to Step
- To assemble screw collar loop (W) to mounting bracket (A): Hold mounting bracket (A) so the head of the ground screw is pointing down towards the floor. Hold threaded pipe so two hex nuts already attached to threaded pipe (E) are pointing down towards the floor. From side of the mounting bracket with ground screw head, screw short end of the threaded pipe (E) into hole in the center of the mounting bracket (A) until hex nut on the threaded pipe (E) touches the mounting bracket. Thread hex nut (V) onto end of the threaded pipe (E). Tighten hex nut (V) to secure threaded pipe (E) to mounting bracket (A). Thread screw collar loop (W) onto end of threaded pipe pointing down towards the floor. Tighten the screw collar loop up against the hex nut on the threaded pipe (E).
- Place mounting bracket (A) up against the junction box. Screw collar loop (E) should be pointing down towards floor. Align each slot in mounting bracket (A) with each hole in the junction box.
- Thread one junction box screw (B) into each slot in the mounting bracket (A) and into holes in the junction box. Tighten junction box screws (B) to secure mounting bracket (A) to the junction box.
- CAUTION: Make sure house wires are still easily accessible. DO NOT pinch wires between the mounting bracket and ceiling.
- Rotate arms until arms are evenly spaced apart.
- Carefully push fixture wires up through stem (M). Pull fixture wires out of top of stem (M). Pull fixture wires taut. Screw bottom of stem (M) onto top of fixture body (O). DO NOT pinch fixture wires between fixture body and stem.
- Push fixture wires up through hole in center of arch (P). Lower arch (P) down over stem (M) ontop of fixture body (O). Pass threaded pipe on top of stem (M) through hole in center of arch (P).
- Push fixture wires through bottom of loop (L). Screw loop (L) onto top of stem (M).
- Connect one locking link (G) to loop (L).
- Determine desired hanging height of fixture. Cut chain (H) to length to achieve desired height.
- Slip chain link at end of chain (H) onto locking link (G) on loop (L).
- Weave fixture wires through chain links, skipping every other chain link.
- Slip threaded ring (F) down over end of chain (H).
- Position canopy (D) so outside of canopy is pointing down towards fixture. Slip hole in canopy (D) over end of chain (H).
- Strip 3/4” of insulation from the ends of fixture wires.
- Carefully push fixture wires up through the hole in the screw collar loop (W) attached to the mounting bracket (A) and out the end of the threaded pipe inside the junction box. Carefully pull fixture wires so they are easily accessible to connect to house wires.
- To aid in connecting fixture wires to house wires, temporarily connect the second locking link (G) to the link at the end of the chain (H) and to the screw collar loop (W).
-
Slightly loosen the ground screw on the mounting bracket (A). Do not completely remove the ground screw. Wrap house ground wire (copper) around the ground screw, leaving enough ground wire to attach to fixture ground wire. Twist the end of the fixture ground wire and the end of the house ground wire together. Twist wire nut (C) onto the ends of the wires. Completely tighten wire nut (C). Reference the chart below for correct wire connections.
