flomo board: Your universal, flexible and mobile usable writing board. I accompany you: during the working day; in the office or in the workshop; in the kindergarten; down the gym; at the swimming pool or about the home. I am very versatile – usable indoors and outdoors, only you should not leave me permanently in the rain. With proper treatment, we can work well together for many years. Here are the most important facts and figures; plus, some useful hints for usage – stating what you can easily do with me and what you should avoid.

Cleaning:
Writing surface
The writing surface is made of glass ceramic and can be thoroughly cleaned with commercial whiteboard cleaners.
Handle and edging
The handle and edge of EPP can be cleaned well with a mild soapy solution.
Back Velcro surface
Brush out the velour gently.

Environmental aspects:
The handle and edge of your flomo board is made of EPP; the writing surface of 99% steel; the velour of polyamide.
The adhesive is safe concerning your health and the environment – its wpc- free. The flomo board can accompany you for many, many years even with frequent use. It is designed and prepared for that.
Recommendation whiteboard markers
We recommend the use of high-quality whiteboard markers, taking into account environmental aspects such as being solvent-free and refillable.

Please take note to prevent damage:
The handle and edge is made of EPP, the writing surface is made of glass ceramic, the back has a Velcro surface: As a sandwich construction, the flomo board consists of different materials that react differently to mechanical effects or temperature differences, but behave resi- liently – returning to their original shape. How you deal with transitory deformations or avoid permanent deformation and damage is described below.

At temperatures below 0 ° C or above 40 ° C, a curvature of the flomo board may occur. This will disappear again at normal room temperatures.
Make sure that the board is not permanently exposed to strong sunlight.
Especially if it is attached to glass walls or window panes, heat can build up between the board and the glass pane. This can damage the velour coating of the board.
Handle and edging (EPP edge)
The impact protection edge is tested for a fall of a 1 meter height. However, higher impact loads of the EPP can lead to cracks and fractures.
Avoid permanent deformation to the EPP edge by protecting it from punctiform damage; that’s anything that can pierce the surface; such as, pointed umbrellas, stiletto heels, etc., also avoid collisions with sharp cornered objects with edges that can cause permanent indentations. Likewise, avoid cuts with cutting tools, drawing pins or other sharp objects, as these lead to irreversible material injuries. Even grinding on rough surfaces, for example, on asphalt, can lead to abrasion in the EPP. Short-term, wide-surface effects and flat pressure points are merely due to the high restoring force of the EPP returning to its original form.
Writing surface (glass ceramic)
Unsightly dents in the ceramic surface are irreversible. Therefore, when working with or when stowing the flomo board, protect it from tumbling forward face down, so to speak, and be sure in other circumstances that nothing is allowed to strike its pristine glass ceramic surface.

Please take note to prevent damage:

Always use 3 flomo geckos, points or magnets to attach a flomo board and pay attention to finding a suitable distribution of the 3 velcro points. The attachment of the flomo boards with flomo geckos, points or magnets is not intended as a permanent attachment, but as a temporary solution for frequent removal and reattachment of flomo boards.
flomo gecko: Glass surfaces must be clean, grease-free and dry. The load capacity and stability of the glass surface must be guaranteed. Glass thickness and mounting style of the glass itself is crucial for safety during use. Other correspondingly smooth surfaces also work. Ensure there is reliable adhesion of the suction cups before use with flomo board. Each time you reattach a flomo board, it is wise to apply pressure again.
Important: When detaching the flomo board, concentrate on one edge to avoid a jerky release. flomo point: screw the connection to a firm and compatible substrate with an appropriate selection of screws or dowels, depending on the choice of substrate. flomo magnet: Surfaces must exert an attraction to magnetic force. Test that the magnetic feet have a sound bond before performing a test with the flomo board. When detaching the flomo board, the flomo magnets may stick to the flomo board instead of the magnetic surface, this is because the thicker the magnetic surface, the stronger the magnetic attraction.

flomo belt: I’m designed, as an accessory for the flomo board; to help you to carry it comfortably from A to B, or a bit further, i.e. should you have the need to convey a flomo board up a flight of stairs. Always transport your flomo board with the writing surface to the outside to avoid wiping your idea depictions and to avoid contaminating your clothes. Here are the most important facts and figures; plus, some useful hints for usage – stating what you can easily do with me and what you should avoid.

•  Polypropylene webbing, 50 mm wide, black with red Velcro fastener
• Length of the belt is approximately. 1,400 mm, adjustable to your height
• Velcro fastener measurement: 100 x 150 mm

Please take note to prevent damage:
Firmly unite the Velcro surface of the flomo belt with the velour on the flomo board. When walking, it is best to stabilize the flomo board with one hand to avoid any pendulous swinging motion – so that it does not work itself loose and break free.

Instructions for usage

Firmly affix the Velcro centrally to the back of the flomo board velour. Take the flomo belt, or strap so to speak over your shoulder and adjust it to the desired carrying height, or alternatively, initially wear it, then firmly affix the Velcro centrally to the velour on the back of the flomo board, and away you go…

flomo Xbelt: As a system extension, I help you to bind the flomo board and an Xbrick together. By employing my Velcro points, your flomo board can now be auto- nomous, completely stable and freestanding. Alternatively, an Xbrick can be used as a post or column against which the flomo board can be positioned.

• Length of the strap: 3,500 mm, (adjustable)
• 4 Velcro sections: 50 x 100 mm
Instructions for usage
To set up your flomo board, place the Xbelt around the lower third of the Xbrick and tighten. Position the two Belt Velcro surfaces on the narrower side so that the velour on the flomo board can make sound contact.
Affix the Xbrick onto the flomo board whilst leaving a little dis- tance to the floor – in accord with the desired angle of inclina- tion. The remaining length of the flomo Xbelt can be stowed in one of the handle openings of the Xbrick.
Now the flomo board is freestanding and can easily be moved about the room. Alternatively, the Xbelt can be used to bind several Xbricks together so that they can be used as a post or column. Many variations in the combination of Xbrick and flomo board are possible here just experiment.

Please note when using:
When setting up the flomo easel, always make sure that the folding mechanism is audibly engaged at the back.
When folding and unfolding, be careful not to pinch your fingers or your clothing between the moving parts.
flomo easel sleeves (Velcro cuffs):
The Velcro cuffs make it possible to affix your flomo board to the flomo easel. Thus, the tripod and whiteboard can be moved in one, as a whole. Important: When detaching the flomo board, start from one edge. However, for the sake of convenience, if you want to repeatedly replace the flomo board more readily, simply face the black, as in, non-sticky side of the Velcro cuffs – to the front.

flomo rail: firmly mounted to the wall I am always there when you want to work with one or even two flomo boards. You can use me to attach plans or pictures with magnets as well. You can also ask for more accessories available for flomo rail.

Installation

For same height of use as with flomo wall: mounting height 2090 mm.
Align all three fixtures horizontally. Strut the fixtures apart by turning the threaded pin clockwise. In case there is no space on the left or right of the rail attach the hanger beforehand.

Bitte beim Gebrauch beachten:
When sliding the hanger onto the rail take care not to hit the gliding felt with the rail‘s edge. Start sliding it on at a slightly tilted angle. When hanging the flomo board please make sure the wooden slat sits well inside the handle recess of the flomo board.
