Position Your Dehumidifier
IMPORTANT
Transporting or storing the dehumidifier in a horizontal position is not recommended.
When the dehumidifier is placed in a horizontal position, the oil from the compressor can flow into the refrigerant coils and reduce the ability of the dehumidifier to function and possibly damage the dehumidifier. If the dehumidifier has been placed in a horizontal position, set it upright and let it stand for at least 24 hours before plugging it in.
For best results, operate your dehumidifiers in an enclosed area. Close all doors and windows that open for efficiency. Place your dehumidifier away from obstructions, and keep it away from anything that could block airflow into and out of the dehumidifier. -
Set Up the Drainage
This dehumidifier has an internal pump that will automatically drain the condensate out via the 17 ft long drain hose. The hose, stored on the back of the dehumidifier, is equipped with a quick-connect fitting for easy attachment to the drain outlet. Before turning on the dehumidifier, make sure the hose has been connected to the drain outlet.
- Uncoil the entire hose;
- Attach the end of the hose with the connect fitting to the drain outlet directly, until you hear a “click” sound;
- Place the unattached end in a sink, drain, bucket or outdoors — anywhere
that water can drain out safely. ( Ensure there are no kinks or other
obstructions that will stop the water to flow. )
NOTE:
• Ensure that water which runs to outdoors does NOT create a slip hazard.
• If you use a bucket or other container for water collection, check it regularly to prevent overflows.
• The drain hose for the water pump can drain up to 15ft vertically. More than 15ft may cause water back up to the pump resulting in leakage.
• When turning off the dehumidifier, please take the hose out from the water collection container to avoid the water back-flow causes water leakage.
• To remove the drain hose from the outlet, press and hold the buckle on the connect fitting and pull the hose out.
• The dehumidifier won’t drain without connecting the drain hose.

Plug in Electrical Cord
The dehumidifier needs to be plugged into a GFCl-protected 115 volt outlet rated for at least 15 amps. Uncoil the power cord from the winder and plug it firmly into a suitable outlet.
After plugged in, the dehumidifier will automatically enter into standby mode where the readout on the display screen is in dim light. -
Understand the Control Panel Power Button: When the machine is in the standby mode, the display screen will be displayed in low light LED.
To start the dehumidifier, press the power button. Concurrently, the display screen will light up and the unit will run in Auto mode ,the default humidity setting data is 10%RH,and the machine will start if the humidity condition meets the requirement of compressor operation.
Press the power button again to turn off the machine, and the fan will shut down in 1 minute later.
Timing Button: Press the timing button ,the display screen will show the current timing data, and then press Add button to increase the timing data or press Minus to decrease the timing data. Press one time to increase or decrease one hour . The timing indicator will light up after setting.
When the machine 1s in the standby mode, press the timing button to set the start-up time; when the machine is running, press it to set the shutdown time. The timing setting range is from 0 to 24 hours. If you set the timing data as “00” ,1t will cancel timing function ,the timing indicator will turn off.
Add Button: Press the Add button to increase humidity data or increase timing data .

The FULL indicator will light up after you pressed the PURGE button, which means the pump is working. 30 seconds later, the pump will stop working automatically and the FULL light will go off.
NOTE: During operation, the pump purges automatically via the drain hose when the reservoir is full.
Defrosting Indicator: The dehumidifier begins to defrost when Se the defrost indicator illuminates; the dehumidifier has stopped defrosting when the light is no longer illuminated. When defrosting is complete, the dehumidifier begins to dehumidify again automatically.
Water Full Indicator: The FULL indicator lights up 1 when the pump Is automatically draining the condensate from the reservoir when the reservoir is full, or 2 when the user manually drains the pump by pressing the PURGE button.
Display Screen: The default temperature display is Fahrenheit temperature. When the machine is in standby mode, press the power button for 5 seconds to switch to Celsius temperature. When the machine is running, it shows the temperature and humidity of the inlet air and outlet air. It displays the running time when it is in running mode; and displays the setting timing and setting humidity data when users set .
Memory Function: If there is a power outage or the unit shuts off ,it will auto restart to its original settings except timing ,once power Is restored .
Note :
when humidity of air inlet2setting humidity data +3%RH ,and the compressor 1s out of 3 minutes delay start protection , the fan will start immediately and the compressor will start in 3 seconds later when humidity of air inletS setting humidity data -3%RH , the compressor will stop working immediately ,and the fan will stop working in 1 minute later -
Smart Functions
Auto Drainage
Thanks to the built-in pump, the dehumidifier will drain the condensation water automatically.
Wait 3 Minutes before Resuming Operation
To avoid any damage to the dehumidifier, the dehumidifier will not start operation following a complete cycle until after 3 minutes. Operation will automatically start after 3 minutes.
Auto Defrost
When the frost builds up on the evaporator coils, the compressor will cycle off and the fan will continue to run until the frost disappears.
Auto-Restart
lf the dehumidifier shuts off unexpectedly due to power being cut, the dehumidifier will restart with the previous function setting automatically when the power resumes.
AUTO DRAINAGE AND MAINTENANCE
Please disconnect the power supply before cleaning or conducting maintenance.
Cleaning: Clean the unit body with a soft damp cloth. Do not submerse or place
water on the unit or control panel. Water may damage the electronic components
of the unit. Do not use chemical solvent such as benzene, alcohol, gasoline or
other heavy-duty cleaner. The surface may become damaged or deformed.
Cleaning the Air Filter:
Step 1: Pull out the air filter gently.
Step 2: Use a vacuum cleaner to remove the dirt on the surface of the air
filter. If the air filter 1s exceptionally dirty, immerse it gently into warm
water (about 40°C) with a neutral detergent, rinse and dry it thoroughly.
Step 3: Insert the filter back into the unit.
Dehumidifier Storage:
- Push the purge button to empty the water before transportation or storage.
- Transport and store the machine upright.
- Stack machines in warehouse to save space.
