The red crimp connector on the lightning arrestor MUST be connected to a ground wire securely connected to an electrically grounded point.
Waterproofing the SMA and N Connectors
Use the Silicon Tape to completely cover the SMA and N connectors installed
outdoors or exposed to the elements after they are connected.
