WARNING

Warning! For personal safety it is important to observe these instructions.
Warning! All the installation, connection, programming and maintenance operations of the product must be carried out exclusively by a qualified and expert technician!

Observe the following warnings:

  • Do not modify any parts of the product other than those specified in this manual. Unauthorized operations can lead to hazards and cause malfunctions. The manufacturer declines all liability for damage caused by makeshift modifications to products.
  • Make sure that the conditions in which the device will be used comply with the data specified in the “PRODUCT TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS” chapter.
  • The product’s packaging material must be disposed of in full conformity to the local regulations governing waste disposal.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION AND INTENDED USE

OX2UBP is a hardware interface with 2 relay outputs equipped with an SM connector for radio receivers.
The relay outputs are of the “dry contact” type, therefore the device can be used with any type of control unit equipped with inputs for the opening, closing or step-by-step commands. It can be wall-mounted using the screws (A) or adhesive strip (B) Fig. 1.

INSTALLATION AND ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS

IMPORTANT! It is necessary to have a radio receiver of the XI family (OXIR10, OXIBD, OXILR) with the relative instruction manual, to be consulted for all programming activities.
Warning! To control the two relays, the OX2UBP receiver only exploits the first two digital outputs (out of the four available) of the receiver. The transmitter button to be associated with the relay output must therefore be memorized in the receiver in Mode II on function 1 or 2.

Function 1 Relay control 1
Function 2 Relay control 2

Warning! Before inserting or removing the receiver, disconnect the power supply.
To insert the radio receiver, perform the operation described in Fig. 2.
Fig. 3 shows the terminals where the following electrical connections can be made:

  • (+) and () terminals for DC/AC power supply;
  • CH1 relay 1 output terminal;
  • CH2 relay 2 output terminals.
    The antenna slot is located on the receiver.

Selection jumper (JP)
Depending on the supply voltage, insert or remove the jumper (JP) as shown in Fig. 3.

  • If inserted = 12 V
  • If removed = 24 V

How to obtain “NC” contacts
The outputs control 2 relays with “NO” (normally open) contact. Should it be necessary to control relays with “NC” (normally closed) contacts, proceed as explained below:

  1. Disconnect the power supply
  2. Remove the XI receiver inserted (C) Fig. 4.
  3. Open the plastic elements (D) as shown in Fig. 4
  4. Carefully extract the board (E) and turn it so that the soldered side faces the observer Fig. 5
  5. Carry out the following operations on the soldered side (Fig. 6):
    · Cut the section of the track at point “X”.
    · Join the pads in point “Y” with a drop of tin.
    Note these changes can be made to one relay or both, depending on your necessities.

PRODUCT DISPOSAL

This product is made of various types of materials, some of which can be recycled while others must be scrapped. Seek information on the recycling and disposal systems envisaged in the local regulations in your area for this product category.
