NL01 | Smart Wi-Fi Sound Machine Night Light

Product Appearance

Top Button: Touch (less than 1S) the top once to turn light on/off; long touch the top for 2 seconds to switch the color/warm white; when alarm clock goes off, press any button at the bottom to exit the alarm clock, or touch (less than 1S) the top to enter snooze mode. Snooze time: 9 minutes.

Brightness Button: Short press (less than 1S) to adjust brightness.
Previous Sound/Next Sound Button: Short press (less than 1S) to switch sound. Long press to turn down/up volume.
Play/Pause Sound Button: Short press (less than 1S) to play/pause the current sound.
Reset Button: Long press for 5 seconds to enter the configuration mode. Long press for 10 seconds to restore factory settings.
Sound Timing Button: In sound mode (night light is playing sound), short press (less than 1S) to extend the current sound play for 15 /30 /60 minutes.

Install Smart Life App

Search for Smart Life App on App store/Google Play store.
Register an account and memories the password, enter your email address or your phone number, then obtain verification code to complete the registry.

Add Devices

Default configuration connection-the blue light blinks quickly (twice every second).
Note: This night light only supports 2.4G network, not supports 5G.
Confirm that the smart night light is powered on.
Open Smart Life App, tap the icon “+” on the top right corner to add device, choose “Light Source (BLE+ Wi-Fi)”.

A. For Easy Mode Connection:
Confirm the blue light blinks quickly(twice every second) , and then according to the instructions in the app to complete night light connected.

Night light has been added successfully, set a unique name for this light.

B. AP Mode Connection:
Go back to the add device “+” interface, choose the AP Mode on the upper right comer. Long press the reset button until the blue light flashes slowly (once every 3 seconds ). Make sure the blue light is flashing slowly and confirmit in app.

Choose your 2.4G Wi-Fi and enter the password and confirmit in app.
Tap”Connect now” and choose Wi-Fi hotspot named “SmartLife-xxx”, then go back to Smart Life application.
Wait till successful configuration and then tap “Completed”.

Note: if the connection fails in AP Mode, please check if your router is dual- band Wi-Fi. If it is dual-band Wi-Fi, please enter the router management
interface to split 2.4G and 5G Wi-Fi, and then connect 2.4G Wi-Fi.

How To Connect with Google Home

  • Link Smart Life App with Google Home App, go to Google Home App and find “Works with Google”.
  • Search Smart Life.
  • Enter your Smart Life account.
  • Authorize to use.
  • Then Google Home App will guide you through.

How To Connect with Amazon Alexa

Requirements:

  • Amazon Alexa device and Alexa app.
  • The night light connected with Smart Life App.
  • Smart Life App user ID and password.

Add Smart Life as a “Skill” for Alexa:

  • Search for Smart Life.
  • ENABLE TO USE.
  • Enterthe Smart Life account.
  • Authorize to use.

And then, the devices you added on will sync to Alexa App, you can ask Alexa to discover new devices for you in this moment. Please make sure the device name you set for the night light is unique and recognizable for Alexa voice assistant.

Trouble Shooting

Q: Why my night light connection failed?
A: You should try both Easy Mode and AP Mode, refer to the information in 7, make sure to follow the guide and try again. Confirm your home Wi-Fi is 2.4GHz and the password you entered is correct.

Q: Why I can’t control my night light with Alexa/Google?
A: Make sure you connect night light successfully with Smart Life App, and the night light is online.
Make sure you put correct account when you link Smart Life as a skill on
Alexa/Google app, and you can find it on your skills.
Make sure your Alexa/Google device is working fine.
Check the device name that you set for night light is non-repetitive and recognizable for voice assistant. Also, please make sure your native language is available for Alexa.

Q: Do I need to set up the device again if I changed my router?
A: Yes! you must set up the night light again if there is any change of your Wi-Fi, either you changed your router or you moved the device to a new house.
