Please take note of the following symbols and words used in the operating instructions, on the product and on the packaging:

PROPER INTENDED USE

  • The product serves as a mobile light source and is not intended for use in other applications. The product is inten- ded exclusively for private, household use and is not suita- ble for commercial use or for household room lighting and is only for use as described in the operating instructions. Use outside that stipulated in the information is improper use and this can result in damage to property or personal injury.
  • We accept no liability for damage caused by incorrect or improper use. If the power supply unit is defective, please contact the manufacturer.

GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

  • This product may be used by children from the age of 8 and by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental abilities or lack of experience and knowledge, if they have been instructed on the safe use of the product and are aware of the hazards. Children  are not permitted to play with the product. Children are not permitted to carry out cleaning or care without supervision.
  • Keep the product and the packaging away from children.
  • This product is not a toy. Children should be supervised in order to ensure that they do not play with the product or packaging.
  • Avoid eye injuries – Never look directly into the beam of light or shine it into other people‘s faces.
  • If this occurs for too long, the blue light portion of the beam can cause retinal damage.
  • Never touch a device that is connected to the mains with wet hands, or if it has fallen into water. In this case, first switch off the house circuit breaker and then pull out the mains plug.
  • Do not expose to potentially explosive environments where there are flammable liquids, dusts or gases.
  • Never submerge the product in water or other liquids.
  • Use only an easily accessible mains socket so that the product can be quickly disconnected from the mains in the event of a fault.
  • Use the product exclusively with the accessories included with it.
  • Do not short-circuit connection terminals or batteries.

DANGER OF FIRE AND EXPLOSION

  • Do not use while still in the packaging.
  • Do not cover the product – risk of fire.
  • Never expose the product to extreme conditions, such as extreme heat/cold etc.
  • Do not use in the rain or in damp areas.

GENERAL INFORMATION

  • Do not throw or drop
  • The LED cover cannot be replaced. If the cover is damaged, the product must be disposed of.
  • The LED light source cannot be replaced. If the LED has reached the end of its service life, the complete lamp must be replaced.
  • Do not open or modify the product! Repair work shall only be carried out by the manufacturer or by a service technician appointed by the manufacturer or by a similarly qualified person.
  • Disconnect the device from the power supply only by pulling on the plug or plug housing, never on the cable.
  • Information for the light and mains adapter as well as mains voltage on the socket must match with the type plate.
  • The lamp shall not be placed face-down or allowed to topple face-down.
  • Improperly inserted batteries could leak and/or cause a fire/explosion.
  • Keep batteries away from children: Risk of choking or suffocating.
  • Never try to open, crush or heat a standard/rechargeable battery or set it on fire. Do not throw into a fire.
  • When inserting batteries, ensure that the batteries are inserted with the correct polarity.
  • Leaking battery fluid can cause irritation if it comes into contact with the skin. Immediately rinse affected areas with fresh water and then seek medical attention.
  • Do not attempt to charge non-rechargeable batteries.
  • Rechargeable batteries must only be charged under the supervision of an adult and must be removed from the device before being charged.
  • Always change all of the batteries at the same time as a complete set and always use equivalent batteries.
  • Do not use batteries if the product appears to be damaged.
  • Batteries are not rechargeable. Do not short-circuit batteries.
  • Switch the product off before changing the batteries.
  • Remove used or empty batteries from the lamp immediately.
  • If not being used, remove the batteries and store separate- ly in order to preserve service life.
  • Carry out cleaning tasks only when the mains plug has been pulled out / when the power supply has been disconnected.
  • Do not use abrasive agents or solvents for cleaning.
  • Do not allow fluids to enter the housing.
  • Do not use hard brushes or sharp objects for cleaning.

ENVIRONMENTAL INFORMATION DISPOSAL

  • Dispose of packaging after sorting by material type.
  • Cardboard and cardboard to the waste paper, film to the recycling collection.
  • Dispose of the unusable product in accordance with legal provisions. The „waste bin“ symbol indicates that, in the EU, it is not permitted to dispose of electrical equipment in household waste.
  • For disposal, pass the product on to a specialist disposal point for old equipment, use the return and collection systems in your area or contact the dealer from whom you purchased the product.
  • Batteries and rechargeable batteries contained in electrical appliances must be disposed of separately whenever possible.
  • Always dispose of used batteries & rechargeable batte- ries (only when discharged) in accordance with the local regulations and requirements.
  • Improper disposal may result in toxic ingredients being released into the environment, which may have adverse health effects on humans, animals and plants.
  • In this way you will fulfil your legal obligations and contribute to environmental protection.

Batteries containing lithium

  • For lithium-containing batteries and rechargeable batteries, tape off the terminals before disposal to avoid an external short circuit. A short circuit can lead to a fire or explosion.
  • You can find our warranty terms online at www.ansmann.de.
  • The guarantee does not apply to damage to the device arising through a failure to comply with the operating instructions.
  • Your statutory warranty rights are not affected by this.
  • The information contained within these operating instructions can be changed without prior notification. We accept no liability for direct, indirect, incidental or other damage or consequential damage arising though improper handling/use or through disregard of the information contained within these operating instructions.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The following functions can be adjusted via the remote control:

  1. On / Off button
  2. 12 selectable colours
  3. 366 different lighting effects
  4. 10 levels of speed adjustment
  5. Dimmable in 8 levels
  6. Automatic playback
  7. 32 levels of brightness adjustment
  8. Mode + / Mode –
  9. Light mode is automatically saved

INITIAL USE

  • Remote control:
    • Before operation, remove the battery protection contact lock from the battery compartment of the remote control.
    • Ensure that the remote control is pointed towards the floor lamp.
    • The remote control has a range of up to 7 meters.
  • Lamp:
    • Carefully take out all parts from the packaging.
    • Connect the power connection of the LED light bar to the floor angle frame.
    • Insert the 2 floor angle frames onto the LED light bar.
    • Secure the two floor angle frames to the light bar using the supplied screws and tighten them. Ensure that the connection is firm and stable.
    • The screw is pre-installed on the lamp leg, try to insert the leg first, if it can not be inserted, please loosen the screw and try again until it is inserted, then tighten the screw again.
    • Connect the power adapter cable to the socket in the floor angle frame.
