Service and warranty
If you need service or information regarding your product, please contact our customer service at service@auronic.nl.
We provide a 2-year warranty on our products. Customer must be able to show proof of purchase when claiming warranty. Product defects must be reported to us within 2 years from the date of purchase. Please note that the warranty does not apply: for damage caused by improper use or repair; for parts subject to wear and tear; for defects known to the customer at the time of purchase; for defects caused by the customer’s own fault, for damage caused by third parties.

1.1 Intended use
This product is intended only for the purposes described in the user manual.
The supplier is released from liability for any injury or damage caused by using the product beyond its intended use. Any modification of the product may affect your safety and warranty.

1.5 Contents of package
When receiving your shipment, make sure that the contents are consistent with the packing list. Notify your distributor of any missing items. If the equipment appears to be damaged,  file a claim immediately with the carrier and notify yourdistributor at once, giving a detailed description of any damage. Save the damaged parts and packing container to substantiate your claim.

Before use, read the manual and safety information carefully. The supplier is not responsible for failure to follow the safety information on the use and handling of the product or damage to property or personal injury.
Always observe the following precautions when using ‘the Drinking fountain’, hereinafter referred to as ‘the product’.
2.1 General

• If this is your first time using the product, it is important to read the user manual and instructions carefully.
• If the product is malfunctioning, dropped or damaged, do not use the product and consult our customer service.
• Before each use, check the parts and accessories for any damage or wear (cracks/breakage) that may adversely affect performance and, if so, replace them with original or manufacturer-recommended parts and accessories.
• Use the product only for the purposes indicated in this user manual.
• Do not disassemble, repair or restore the product. Doing so may cause damage to the product. For your own safety, these parts should only be replaced by authorized service personnel. Always steer the product to service center for repairs to prevent damage and personal injury.
• Keep the product away from heat, areas where the temperature is relatively high and heat sources such as ovens.
• The product is designed and intended for private use. Do not use the product for commercial purposes.
• Do not place the product too close to the edge of the surface and make sure the product does not fall over.
• Be aware of the risks and consequences associated with improper use of the product. Misuse of the product may result in personal injury and damage to the product.
• The product is suitable for indoor use only. Do not use the product outdoors.
• Clean the filter with water only.

2.2 Persons

• This product should not be used by children. Cleaning and maintenance of the product should not be performed by children. Keep the product and cord out of the reach of children.
• The product can be used by people with physical or mental disabilities, provided that they are properly supervised and informed regarding the safe use of the product and understand its possible dangers.
• Cleaning and maintenance of the product should not be performed by children unless they are over 8 years old and supervised.
• Keep the product and cord out of the reach of children under 8 years of age.
• Do not allow children to play with the product. Use and store the product out of the reach of children.
• Do not allow pets or small children to chew on the power cord to avoid electric shock.

2.3 Use

• Always place the product on a horizontal, level, stable and non-flammable surface.
• Do not fill the product beyond the max line.
• Do not use hot water, gas, alcohol or organic solvents to clean the product. Use only a damp cleaning cloth or paper towel and tap water.
• Check the water level daily. Use the pump only when fully submerged in water, otherwise the pump may be damaged.
• The pump is designed to be used exclusively with this product. Do not use the pump for other applications.

2.5 Electrical

• If the surface of the product is cracked, turn off the product to avoid electric shock.
• Check both power cord and plug regularly for signs of damage or wear, and if any, do not use the product and have the power cord and/or plug replaced or repaired by authorized service personnel.
• Use only the adapter and/or accessories provided by the supplier to prevent overheating, explosions, electric shock, fire, other damage and personal injury.
• To avoid electric shock, do not use the product if you suspect the power cord or plug is damaged. A damaged power cord or plug should be repaired or replaced by a professional (an authorized distributor).
• Do not unplug the product by pulling the power cord. This may cause fire or electric shock.
• Do not move the product while it is on. Always turn the product off before moving or cleaning it.
• Do not move the product by pulling the cord or twist the cord.
• Before connecting the product, make sure that the mains voltage indicated on the rating plate matches that of your mains supply.
• Make sure you do not trip over the cord and that the cord is not kinked, twisted, or stuck.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

3.1 Installation

1. Remove all parts from the water tank.| 2. Clean and rinse all parts thoroughly with clean (cold) tap water.

3. Place the water pump in its designated location..| 4. Place the water pump power cord in its designated location.

5. Fill the water tank with clean tap water. Do not exceed the maximum water level.| 6. Place the protective cap on the water tank.

7. Place the filter on the protective cover and press firmly.| 8. Place the drinking bowl through the hole in the protective cover. Make sure
the end is connected to the outlet of the pump. Place a spout on the drinking bowl (if desired).

9. Connect the power cable to the adapter and the adapter to an electrical outlet.|

3.2 Adjusting the water level
3.2.1 Water fountain
Place the normal spout on the drinking bowl and press firmly. 3.2.2 Flower water fountain
Place the flower spout on the drinking container and press firmly. 3.2.3 Soft water fountain
Remove the spout to get a soft flowing water surface.

MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING

4.1 Cleaning
Clean the product with clean, cold tap water. For the water tank, use a soft sponge if necessary to get rid of stubborn dirt.
Do not use abrasive or aggressive cleaning agents.
4.2 Disassembling the water pump
Cleaning the pump is essential to the life of the product. You should examine and empty the water pump when the water flow is reduced. Use a cleaning brush to remove any dust and bristles from the water pump.

STORAGE

Store the product in a clean and dry place. Do not store the product in extreme high or extreme low temperatures.

DISPOSAL AND RECYCLE

Think about the environment and contribute to a cleaner living environment! You can contact your local council for all information on disposal options for discarded products.
6.1 Disposal
At the end of its life, do not dispose of the product with normal household waste, but hand it in at a government designated collection point for recycling.
Dispose of the packaging and accessories in accordance with the environmental regulations in force in your local council. Pay attention to the symbols on the different packaging materials and – if necessary – dispose of them separately. The packaging materials are marked with letters and numbers: 1-7: plastic, 20-22: paper and cardboard, 80-98 composite materials.
6.2 Electric appliance
The symbol shown here with the crossed-out garbage can indicates that this product is subject to European Directive (EU) 2012/19/EU. This directive states that at the end of its service life, you must not dispose of this product with normal household waste, but hand it in at a government designated collection point for recycling.
