Installation
The probe and its cable should NEVER be installed in the same conduit as power, control, or supply cables.

Maintenance
Clean the surface of the unit with a soft cloth, water, and soap. Do not use abrasive detergents, petrol, alcohol, or solvents, as this might damage the unit.

Operation

Connection of the Approved Probe
When connecting the approved probe, the equipment will automatically display the temperature of said probe on the screen. This temperature is subject to metrological control and complies with the ICT/155/2020 directive, as well as the EN13485 standard.

Display
The display shows the temperature indication. Press the SET key to access the set point or programming.

Parameter Adjustment
Access the programming menu by pressing the SET key for more than 5 seconds. After 20 seconds without pressing any key, the equipment will revert to the previous level. If at level 3, changes will not be saved.

Warnings

  • Using the equipment without following the manufacturer’s instructions may affect the device’s safety requirements. To ensure that the device operates correctly, only probes supplied by AKO should be used.
  • The unit must be installed in a location protected from vibrations, water and corrosive gases, where the ambient temperature does not exceed that shown in the technical data.
  • To ensure a correct reading, the probe must be situated in a location without any external heat influences except for the temperature which is being measured or controlled.
  • The power supply circuit must be provided with a main switch rated at at least 2 A,230 V, located close to the equipment. The cables will enter through the back and should be type H05VV-F or H05V-K. 2
  • The gauge will depend on local regulations, but should in no case be less than 1 mm . 2
    NOTE : Homologated probe CANNOT BE EXTENDED
    NOTE : Equipment NOT compatible with AKO-14917 (external communication module) and AKO-14918 (programming key)

Operation

SET key /

  • Pressing for 5 seconds activates Stand-by mode; pressing for 2 seconds returns the device to normal mode. In Stand-by mode, the device takes no action, and only the indicator “ ****“ is displayed on the screen.
  • Pressing for 10 seconds accesses the programming menu.
  • Pressing for 5 seconds in the programming menu accesses the level shown on the screen, or during the adjustment of a parameter, accepts the new value.

In the programming menu, a short press allows you to navigate through different levels or, during the adjustment of a parameter, change its value, always in an upward direction. Upon reaching the upper limit, it will start again from the lower limit.

Probes AKO-H158xx V2 are c ompatible ONLY with thermo-meters AKO- DH14023 V2.
