Destiny
- This infrared lamp is designed to illuminate the human body.
- Irradiation with infrared light introduces heat into the human body. target group
- This device is intended for home use and not in a healthcare setting. The device is intended for adults without impaired sensory functions who are fully aware of the dangers.
Clinical use
With an infrared lamp, the user can heat specific areas of the skin with
infrared radiation. In skin exposed in this way, blood circulation improves
and metabolism increases in the temperature field. The effect of infrared
stimulates the healing of the body, enabling targeted support of healing
processes. In this way, healing processes are supported in a directional way.
Indications
The user can use it for adjunctive therapy in the treatment of the following
diseases:
- diseases of the throat, nose and ears, e.g. acute otitis
- Acne
- Muscle tension, e.g.
- periarticular diseases of soft tissues (myalgia, myogelosis, myotendopathy, fibrositis)
- Inflammation of joints due to arthrosis

Contraindications
WARNING
- The device cannot be used by people with physical or mental disabilities, or those who do not have sufficient knowledge and/or experience, unless they are under the supervision of persons responsible for their safety or if the use of the device is explained to them by these persons in order to avoid the risk of fire or burns.
- • This device must NOT be used on people who are insensitive to heat.
- Sensitivity to heat may be reduced or increased in the following cases:
- in patients suffering from diabetes;
- in people with paraplegia;
- in people with lethargy, dementia or concentration disorders;
- in people with skin lesions;
- in people with scars in the area of using the device -dings;
- in children and the elderly;
- after taking medications or drinking alcohol.
- DO NOT use this device in the following cases:
- in acute rheumatoid arthritis;
- in infectious arthritis;
- in case of blood circulation disorders;
- in case of congestive heart failure or severe cardiac arrhythmias;
- in case of acute or recent myocardial infarction;
- in case of diabetes, hyperthyroidism, adrenal insufficiency;
- in case of infection;
- in case of open wounds;
- in case of severe swelling;
- in the case of radiotherapy (including three months after treatment);
- in case of sensory disturbances in the area undergoing treatment.
- The device should not be used by persons with implants, especially if the implant is located in the area of the body to be treated. If in doubt, consult your doctor.
- The device should not be used in the lower abdominal area by pregnant women to prevent overheating in this area. If in doubt, consult your doctor.
- The device is not intended for use by children. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance as this may pose a risk of fire and burns.
Side effects
- Medicines, cosmetics or food products may in some cases conditions cause hypersensitivity or allergic reaction skin. If this happens, stop immediately irradiation.
- Keep an appropriate distance during the procedure between the infrared lamp and the treated area, to avoid skin irritations such as tingling, itching, burning or excessive sensitivity to heat.

Use of glasses as intended protective
Safety glasses are intended only to protect the wearer’s eyes against infrared
radiation during use infrared lamps. Safety glasses only protect against
infrared radiation. Glasses do NOT protect against radiation in a different
wavelength range. These safety glasses can only be used with the company’s
infrared lamps beurer. They should not be used with infrared lamps from other
manufacturers. Glasses should always be worn directly over your eyes and not
on top of other glasses. Safety glasses are intended for home/private use only
and not for commercial purposes. Safety glasses are not suitable for use as
eye protection against mechanical hazards (e.g. impacts). They are free from
harmful substances in accordance with legal regulations.
WARNINGS AND SAFETY TIPS
Electrical safety
Automatic thermal protection protects the device against overheating.
- Improper use may be dangerous!
- Before connecting the device, check whether the voltage indicated on it corresponds to the local mains voltage to avoid electric shock or permanent damage to the device.
- Use an outlet that is nearby so that you can quickly unplug it if necessary.
- Do not touch the plug with wet hands to avoid electric shock!
- The network cable should be placed in such a way as to prevent tripping over it.
- Always remove the plug from the power socket when the device is not in use, when cleaning the device, or if you notice any disruptions in operation or if smoke or odors are emitted from the device. When disconnecting, pull the plug, not the cable!
- Handle the power cord carefully (risk of suffocation or choking).
- Before use, make sure that the device and attached components show no visible damage. If in doubt, stop using the device and contact the seller or the customer service address provided. This especially applies to scratches and cracks on the glass or casing.
- If the network cable or housing is damaged, contact the service or the seller, because if these instructions are not followed, there is a risk of electric shock.
- Only after disconnecting the mains plug from the socket can you be sure that the power supply has been disconnected.
- If the device’s network cable is damaged, it must be disposed of. If it is not possible to disconnect the cable, the entire device should be disposed of.
- Never wrap the power cord around the infrared lamp.
Health safety tips
WARNING
- Danger of burns! The glass and housing of the device become very hot during operation. Touching may cause burns!
- Do not touch the hot glass when operating the buttons (on/off switch and timer). There is a risk of burns.
- Always wait until the device has cooled down before touching it.
- Before repacking the device, always unplug and allow the device to cool down.
- Do not touch the device connected to the power supply with wet hands.
- Water and electricity are a dangerous combination! To avoid the risk of electric shock:
- do not use the device in a wet environment (e.g. in a bathroom or near a shower or swimming pool).
- Do not allow water to enter the device.
- Do not pour water on the device.
- Only operate a completely dry device.

- Infrared radiation emitted by the device may cause eye irritation. Do not look into the light source and use the safety glasses provided.
- Keep the packaging out of the reach of children (danger of suffocation!).
- Always wear the supplied safety glasses when using the lamp.
- Do not use on infants and young children.
- This device is not intended for use on changing tables, baby cots, etc.
- Do not use the device near water.
- Do not use the device if it has been dropped, exposed to excessive moisture, or otherwise damaged.
- Do not immerse the device in water or other liquids and do not allow liquids to enter the device.
- To avoid the risk of fire and burns, do not leave the device unattended while it is on.
- Turn off the device if it is damaged or if there is any disruption in its operation.
- After use and in the event of a power failure, always disconnect the plug from the socket to avoid damage to the device.
- If the socket to which the appliance is connected is not properly installed, the appliance plug may become hot. To avoid the risk of fire and burns, make sure the appliance is plugged into a properly installed outlet.
Important information
WARNING
- The distance from the infrared lamp depends on individual heat sensitivity and the type of treatment performed. The greater the distance from the device, the larger the area treated and the less heat from the infrared light. With a shorter distance, the area treated decreases and the heat of the infrared light becomes more intense.
- Always limit the time you use the device and monitor your skin’s reactions.
- When using an infrared lamp, keep such a distance from the exposure area so that skin irritations such as tingling, itching or burning, as well as excessive sensitivity to heat, are not felt. If such symptoms appear, radiation should be discontinued. Alternatively, you can increase the distance and/or shorten the exposure time.
- The device is not intended for exposure from above.
- To avoid accidental contact with the hot filter, make sure that the distance between the device and the user is large enough. You should choose such a distance from the device that the heat is pleasant for the user.
- Medicines, cosmetics or food products can sometimes cause an excessive skin reaction or an allergic reaction. In such a situation, irradiation should be stopped immediately.
- In case of continuous operation of the device, special care should be taken.
- Do not use the device when you are tired or at risk of falling asleep during exposure!
- Too long exposure may cause skin burns.
- Children cannot recognize the dangers arising from the use of electrical appliances. Therefore, make sure that they use the device only under the supervision of adults.
- Do not use the device in an environment with a lot of lint/hair or dust.
Safety glasses – safety rules and warnings
WARNING
- Keep the packaging out of reach for children. There is a risk of suffocation.
- Children should not play with safety glasses.
- Before putting on safety glasses, inspect them for external damage (e.g. scratches or cracks). If the glasses are damaged, DO NOT use them to use.
- Materials used to produce protective glasses, potentially in contact with the user’s skin may cause allergic reactions in people with sensitive skin.
- Be careful not to let your safety glasses come into contact with fat, oil or alcohol (e.g. cleaning agents or facial tonics).
- Safety glasses should only be worn in a quiet environment, so as not to turn around while wearing them.
Repair
WARNING
- Danger of electric shock! The device may only be opened to replace the radiator infrared. Before replacing the infrared heater disconnect the network cable from the socket! In no case you must not repair the device yourself, because this could interfere with its proper operation. Non-compliance this rule will void the warranty.
- Refer repairs to the service center or an authorized distributor.

ACTIVATION
Before starting
TIP
- Remove all packaging components before using the device.

- Unwind the network cable completely.
TIP
Avoid any impacts during operation and cooling, as they could damage the light

- Place the device on a stable, level surface.

Preparation for the procedure
- Position yourself in front of the device in such a way as to use it from the treatment on a selected part of the body in a convenient way.

WARNING

Treatment duration
WARNING
Danger of burns: Before turning on the device, do so remove metal parts from
the treated area, such as belt buckles, chains, bra, jewelry, or piercing
elements as they may become very hot. A shorter exposure time is recommended
to start with. However, skin some people, even when used correctly device, may
overreact to radiation heat (e.g. severe redness, blisters, itching, or heavy
sweating) or have allergic reactions. If there is no reduction after 6-8
treatment symptoms, stop using the device and seek medical advice see your
doctor.
APPLICATION
Start of use
WARNING
When using the lamp, always: use the supplied safety glasses. Regularly check
the exposed ones’ location and skin reaction. In case of occurrence of
symptoms of hypersensitivity or stop an allergic reaction immediately
radiation and consult a doctor.
The danger of burns!
Never touch the hot glass 2 during the treatment.
- Put the glasses on your eyes and pull the rubber band around your eyes through the head. The rubber band can be adjusted individually.
- To turn on the device, press the on/off button switching off 5. After a short time, the device will start automatically. The remaining time indicator 4 shows 15 minutes as the duration of the treatment.
- Use the time selection button 3 to select the appropriate treatment duration (1–15 minutes). Set duration treatment is displayed on the remaining time indicator 4. The duration of the treatment can also be changed using the time selection button 3.
- After the set treatment time has elapsed, the device will turn off automatically. To end the treatment earlier, you should: press the on/off switch 5.
After use
TIP
- After using the device, the fan runs for another 5 minutes to cool the device. Including do not turn off the device during this time.
- Once cooling is complete, the fan turns off. Disconnect the plug from the socket.
- When heated, the device must not be covered or stored it in the package!
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Cleaning
WARNING
Before cleaning, turn off the device disconnect it from the power supply, and

TIP
- Be careful not to let water get inside the device!
- Do not wash the device in the dishwasher!
- The device can be cleaned with a damp cloth. Do not use cleaning agents containing solvents. The device should be cleaned after each use.
- You should clean your glasses from time to time. It needs to be cleaned using a slightly damp, soft cloth. Do not use any sharp or abrasive cleaning agents.
- Replacing the infrared heater
Please note that a damaged radiator must be replaced

Removing the old infrared heater
- Place the cooled device with ceramic glass equal to the pad.
- Remove the four screws from the back of the device using a suitable Phillips screwdriver (see illustration A).
- Install the housing. The front part with ceramic glass placed on a platform, e.g. on a book (see illustration B ).
- Hold the cooled infrared heater by its right end and carefully press it to the left C.
- Pull the right end of the infrared illuminator forward from the frame.
Inserting the new infrared heater.
TIP
The new infrared heater should only be placed behind using a cloth. Do not
touch the infrared heater with bare fingers because the layer of fat on the
skin could cause damage to it.
- Insert the new infrared heater into the socket using cloths. Inserting a new infrared heater is performed in the reverse order of removing it.
- Close the device again. The device shuts down in the reverse order of opening it.
- Be careful not to leave any objects inside the case and no cable was pinched!

Storage
- Before moving the device, disconnect the plug and wait until the device has cooled down completely.
- If the safety glasses are not used for a long time, it is recommended to store them in the original packaging in a dry place. Do not place others on the packaging items.
- It is best to store the radiant heater in its original location packaging in a dry place.
