Important safety instructions

DANGER! Put the product in service mode and then disconnect the power before service is performed.

Service mode

  1. Start the Flexit GO app and select the product you want to service.
  2. Enter the service menu (More > Service)
  3. Select “Service mode”. The product will now make a controlled shutdown. The shutdown time depends on the operating mode.
  4. Switch off the all-pole switch. Service can now be carried out.

General Drawing

  • Locate the valve to be replaced.
  • M11 – Regulating valve, domestic hot water system. This valve distributes heat from the heating pump to the taps and radiators
  • M12 – Shuttle valve tank/heat pump This valve controls whether heat is to be supplied by the heat pump or tank.

Fault codes

  • Various types of faults can occur in the valve.

  • In the event of a fault in the valve mechanics, one of the three indicators on the plastic housing will flash.

  • Close the tap for incoming water in the property.

  • Close the shut-off valve between the tank and pipe circuit in the product.

  • Open a tap in the property to depressurise the system.

  • Close the tap again.

  • Unplug the valve’s contact.

  • Remove the faulty valve by undoing the three nuts holding it in place.

  • TIP: Have a cloth or some kitchen roll available.

  • There will be some water spillage.

  • The motor is free and can be adjusted as desired regardless of the direction of the valve.

Valve M11 – operations and indications

Operation mode Valve position
Space heating from hot water tank Regulates between 0 – 100 %
Hot water from the heat pump 0 %
Space heating from the heat pump 100 %
Hot water and space heating from the heat pump Regulates between 0 – 30 %

LED indication

  • Green 0 – 40 %
  • Blue 5 – 95 %
  • Red 70 – 100 %

Fit a new valve. NB: Note the position of the valve. The valve must be positioned as shown on the previous page.

  • Tighten all the connections to a torque of at least 30 N.
  • Connect the contact to the harness in the product.
  • Wipe up any water spills on and around the product.

Commissioning

BEFORE COMMISSIONING

CAUTION! Before commissioning, the following instructions must be followed to avoid damaging the product.

  1. Open the shut-off valve in the product for incoming water by twisting it 90° down.
  • Open the tap for incoming water in the property.

  • Connect the venting hose as shown.

  • Lead the hose into the drip tray to avoid water spillage on the product.

  • Start the product by switching on the all-pole switch.

  • Start the Flexit GO app and connect the product with a code for the service technician. Contact Flexit to receive a code if you don’t have one.

  • Enter the service menu (More > Service).

  • Select ”Service mode”. The product will now perform a controlled shutdown.

  • This may take some time, depending on the product’s operating mode.

  • Enter the service menu and then “Heat pump”. Select service mode “Forced pump air purge”. The purging process will now start. You will hear when the pump starts.

  • Use a 10 mm spanner to open the air purge.

  • To close, screw to the right. To open, screw to the left.

  • WH4 should be purged for a minimum of 15 mins. W4 should be purged for a minimum of 10 mins.

  • When the purging is complete, select service mode “None”.

  • Then return to the service menu and select “Start”

  • When you turn the all-pole switch off and on again, the product will start normally.
