WARNING

  1. Due to the extremely sticky nature of the tape, please plan your installation well in advance of installation to avoid removing and reinstalling the cable raceway. If it is necessary to unplug the raceway, try to soften the bottom of the raceway by heating it with a blower (not too high a temperature is recommended) and then gently peel it off.
  2. If it is necessary to saw the cable raceway, please wear gloves when operating, and be careful of cutting your hands because of the sharp edges of the cut cable raceway.
  3. It is not recommended that the raceway be mounted on an uneven wall, if you do need to mount on a rough wall, use screw mounting rather than double sided tape.
  4. Use appropriate safety equipment when using cable raceways. This product should not be used with uninsulated or exposed wires.
  5. It cannot be used to extend hard-wired (permanent) wires or to twist cables or wires into loops.

Instructions

Option 1: Install with tape (Not suitable for uneven surface)

  1. Clean the Wall Surface
    Wipe clean the wall surface.

  2. Measure the Distance
First, plan the route and mark it with a pencil, then measure the distance and determine the number of cable raceways needed and the number of connectors of each type. Refer to the diagram at left to determine the exact spacing of each connector. Add 0.63 inch (16 mm) to the length of each side raceway for each outside (or flat) connector used, 1.30 inch (33 mm) for each inside connector used, and 2.36 inch (60 mm) for connectors at both ends such as T-fitting and 0.71 inch (18 mm) for couping.

  3. Cut the Cable Raceway
If one of the raceways exceeds the required length, mark it with a pencil. Cut the channel smoothly and evenly downwards with a hand saw according to the marked positions.

  4. Do the marking
Place the raceway horizontally or vertically against the wall, mark the ends of the raceway with a pencil, and use a level as a guide to ensure that the raceway is parallel or perpendicular to the floor or wall.

  5. Remove the Cover
Remove the cable raceway cover plate carefully and do not deform the cover plate so as not to affect the subsequent installation.

  6. Remove the Protectibe film
Remove the protective film from the tape behind the raceway

  7. Stick the Raceway On the Wall
Fix the bottom of the raceway to the wall according to the markings, Press the channel firmly against the walI to ensure it adheres to the waII snugly.

  8. Put into the Cables
Place cables neatly in the raceway, making sure they are not twisted or overlapped.

  9. Install Connectors & Covers
First, slide the cable trough cover to cover the first raceway, then install the corresponding connector in place, and finally slide the cable trough cover of the other raceway until the installation is complete.

Option 2: Install with screws (Only for solid concrete walls)

Place the raceway horizontally or vertically against the wall, mark the ends of the  raceway with a pencil, and use a level as aguide to ensure that the raceway is parallel or perpendicular to the floor or wall.

  5. Remove the Cover
Remove the cable raceway cover plate carefully and do not deform the cover plate so as not to affect the subsequent installation.

  6. Draw Marks on Raceway
Using a pencil, draw 2 marks on the bottom of the raceway near each end of the raceway, each 1.97 inch (50 mm) from the side of the raceway

  7. Drill the Hole
Place the raceway against the wall according to the marks previously made on the wall, and then with the aid of the two marks on the raceway, drill two holes 0.24 inch (6 mm) wide and 1.38 inch (35 mm) deep with an impact drill.

  8. Clean the Dust
Remove the raceway and clean the dust on it.

  9. Insert Concrete Anchor
Use the hammer to knock anchors into the hole.
WARNING: Concrete anchors are for solid concrete walls only, not wood studs or drywall.

  10. Tighten the Screws
Again place the raceway against the wall, insert the lag screw through the raceway into the anchor and tighten with a screwdriver.

  11. Put into the Cables
Place cables neatly in the raceway, making sure they are not twisted or overlapped.

  12. Install Connectors & Covers
First, slide the cable trough cover to cover the first raceway, then install the corresponding connector in place, and finally slide the cable trough cover of the other raceway until the installation is complete.
