Operation Instructions
Insert Memory Card
For best operation, please prepare a formatted high-endurance U3 TF card with
a capacity of 32GB/128GB. The micro SD card must be formatted to FAT 32 64 KB
or EXF AT on computer then format it again with using the ‘Format” option in
Dash Camera ‘Setup’ before the first use.
1. Insert the memory card into the card slot with the label facing screen of the camera, the card will click into place when fully inserted. Please insert the memory card in the correct way as described in the instructions. When the memory card is successfully inserted, a ‘Pick’ can be heard and felt. If not. the card slot may be damaged in the wrong way.
2. To remove the micro SD card, gently push the top edge inward until it a further ‘click’ occurs. The card will then pop up so that it can be easily removed. Install the Camera
For optimal performance, install the SD810 camera behind the rear-view mirror to prevent obstructing your view when driving.
Clean the
windshield and remove the protective film.
Attach Adhesive mount to the windscreen, adjust the front lens to suitable
angle.
Plug the car charger to the type-c port. Attach the GPS module to the
windshield also.
Plug the rear camera cable to the type-c port and install it inside your car
(rear windshield).
Please install the rear camera following the instructions above carefully to
avoid damage to the camera. We strongly recommend that you install it by a
professional. Power On
When connected to a car charger in a car that is switched on, the device will
automatically power on and start recording. A red dot on the screen will start
flashing as recording starts automatically, indicating that the video is
working.
At other times, pressing the ‘Power’ button triggers start up. When the camera
is in use, it is both forbidden and dangerous to remove and insert the rear
camera plug and micro SD card. These actions are distracting for drivers and
may cause the recorded video files or the camera to be damaged.
Power Off
When the car engine is off, the dash cam will automatically stops recording,
saves the last video and shut down. And you can also press and hold on the
“Power’ button to power off.
Key Points Of Automatic On/Off
- The vehicle-mounted power supply is connected to the cigarette lighter socket of the car;
- When the car starts/turns off, the cigarette lighter socket must have two actions of power on/off.
Note: After the flame out of very few car models, the cigarette lighter socket is continuously powered on, and there are no two actions of power-on /power-off. Automatic startup and shutdown cannot be realized. You have to manually power on/off the dash cam each time you turn the engine on/off.
Switch Modes
- When the dash cam turns on, the dash cam will enter to the video mode and automatically record the video. Tapping the’Video Recording’ icon on the bottom of the camera screen to stop recording.
- If you want to lock the current video while recording, please tap the ‘Emergency Recording’ icon on the bottom of the camera screen to lock the current video.
- Tap the ‘Menu’ icon to enter the “Mode Selection’. And then You can choose ‘Video”Photo”Playback’or ‘Setup’.
• Enter playback mode and tap up/down icon to switch between images and videos.
• Enter playback mode and tap ‘OK’icon to play the current video file.
• Enter the playback mode, choose the video and tap the “Menu’ icon to select the current file operation (Delete Current/Delete All/Lock Current/Unlock Current).
Instructions for Video Mode
When the dash cam turns on, the dash cam will enter to the video mode and automatically record the video. Tapping the ‘Video Recording’ icon to stop recording.
Tap the “Menu’ icon to switch Video Mode to Setup Mode and enter the following functions:

- TF Card

Installation And Use Of GPS Playback Software ( Applicable To Machines

Install the designated player
Copy the designated folder to your computer and install it.
Use the designated player
In case of the first use, open the file and install the player.
Click File-Open to select the file to be opened and Open it directly to enter
the playback mode. As shown in the following picture.
WiFi and APP OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
Download the “LuckyCam’APP in the APP Store.
Press the ‘WiFi’button, the dashcam screen will show the WiFi name and
password.
Connect the WiFi via your phone, the screen will show ‘Controlling via APP’. Then you can use the Phone to control this cam and also you can download the video taken by the dash cam.
Share the downloaded video to your friends or any social media. Important Functions Introduction
Loop Recording
When there is insufficient space on the memory card, loop recording
automatically overwrites the oldest non-protected file, replacing it with a
new recording.
Motion Detection
When the camera is on and the function be activated, it will automatically
start recording a video of 30 seconds when it detects any motion within 3
meters from the car.
Gravity Sensor
When the G-sensor detects a collision, the footage currently being recorded is
automatically locked/protected to avoid it being overwritten by loop
recording. We advise you to adjust the sensitivity to low.
Parking Guard
Please turn off this function while driving. With this function on, the device
will automatically record whenever it detects car vibration.
Use of the Parking Guard for long time periods will require a hardwired
connection for the dashcam, in order to connect it to the ACC and GND of the
fuse box safely and to provide the ongoing power required. Kits for this
should be purchased separately.
WDR
The purpose of wide dynamic range imaging is to correctly represent a large
range of brightness in the real world, from direct sunlight to darkest
shadows.
Auto Power Off
While the function on, when the camera is not recording, it will shut down
automatically if there is no operation for some time.
Screen Saver
In the recording state, the screen goes dark when there is no operation after
a while, though the recording continues. The dashcam is working if the blue
indicator light is on.
License Plate Number
After you set the license plate of your car in the setting of ‘License Plate’,
and turn on this function, it will be displayed on recorded video.
Format
Delete all files on the card, not including locked/protected files.
Default Setting
Restore factory settings.
Version
You can view version information of this camera.
Fast Q &A
Under normal operating conditions, if there is problems with the device,
please refer to the following methods to solve.
Fail to record a photo or video
Please check whether the space of TF card is enough or whether TF card is
locked.
Stopping automatically while recording
Due to the huge amount of HD video data and 4K video quality. please use a
high-endurance U3 TF card (Max to 128GB).
There is “file error”occurs during playback and video
The file is incomplete when an error occurs during data storage with TF card,
please format TF card.
Blurry image
Please check if the lens stay with dirt or fingerprints, please wipe the lens
with lens paper before shooting.
Horizontal stripes interference in the image
This is due to the wrong setting of light frequency error, please set the
frequency 60Hz or 50Hz based on the local power frequency.
Important Note
A file can only be saved by the machine only under normal recording condition.
However, the file may be damaged or lost in the following situations:
- TF card is pulled out during recording. In this case, the last video may be damaged or lost.
- It is powered off abnormally during recording. In this case, the last video may be damaged or lost.
- It suffers a destructive collision during recording. In this case, the last video may be damaged or lost.
