Safe play
WARNING
This product is suitable for children aged 1 year and older. Please ensure
that this product is always used under adult supervision for children of any
age. This product is not a life saving device. Staplestein® products should
only ever be stacked on a level, flat, non-slip surface to avoid any potential
slippage. Because of the countless combinations that Staplestein® products can
be arranged and utilized in, be aware that when stacking together elements in
any direction, the risk of the elements tipping or rolling exists.
Please ensure that each element is always stacked securely on top of the
other. When stacking for climbing-on and/or standing-on purposes, always make
sure the base element is properly placed and firmly fixed on the ground and
cannot tip or roll to the side. Stapelstein® never recommends stacking more
than three (3) elements for climbing-on and/or standingon purposes. For
sitting purposes, please ensure that the user‘s feet are touching the floor
when stacking three (3) or more elements at a time.
If the base element is placed with its rounded top on the ground for sitting
purposes, Stapelstein® never recommends stacking more than one (1) element
unless user‘s feet are touching the floor.
Maximum Load Warning
Stapelstein® products have a maximum load capacity as follows: Stapelstein®
Original: 180 kg / 396 lbs, Stapelstein® Board: 120 kg / 264 lbs Exceeding
this weight limit may result in damage to the product, loss of stability, or
potential injury to the user. To ensure safe play, please adhere to the
following guidelines:
- Do not exceed the specified weight limit indicated for this product.
- Avoid standing, sitting, or placing excessive weight on parts of the product that are not intended for weightbearing.
- If multiple children are using the product simultaneously, ensure that the combined weight does not exceed the maximum load capacity.
Failure to comply with the maximum load capacity guidelines may result in
structural failure, tipping, or other accidents leading to injury. Please
supervise children during play and discontinue use if any signs of damage or
instability are observed.
Sharp objects and surfaces such as scissors, stones, knives, nails, wire or
small sharp children‘s teeth can leave permanent marks on Stapelstein®
products and can also affect the stability of the products if they are
particularly badly damaged. If Stapelstein® products are damaged by the user,
whether accidentally or intentionally, all warranties, whether express,
implied, or statutory, are voided. Stapelstein® is not responsible for any
repairs, replacements, or refunds for a damaged product. The user
acknowledges and agrees that any damage caused to the product, including but
not limited to misuse, improper handling, modification, tampering, or any
other actions outside the scope of the product‘s intended use, voids any
warranty that may have been in effect prior to the damage. Furthermore, the
user assumes all risks associated with the damaged product and agrees to
release the manufacturer and seller from any liability for damages, injuries,
or losses resulting from the use or inability to use the damaged product.
Water play with Stapelstein® products
Stapelstein® elements are waterproof and can be taken into the water. However,
Stapelstein® elements are particularly slippery when wet and do not replace a
swimming aid! To ensure safe play, please adhere to the following precautions:
Supervision : Always supervise children during water play, regardless of
their swimming abilities. Never leave children unattended while using this
product.
Water Depth: Use this product only in water that is appropriate for the
child‘s swimming abilities. Do not use in water that exceeds such depth as
what Is appropriate for the child‘s swimming abilities.
Swimming Ability: This product is intended for children who can swim
independently. Do not use for children who are not yet confident swimmers or
require floatation devices.
Diving Safety: Do not dive or jump on or from this product. It is not
designed for diving or use as a diving platform. Pool Rules: Familiarize
yourself and your child with pool rules and regulations. Ensure that this
product is used in accordance with the pool‘s specific safety guidelines.
Storage: After use, properly drain and dry this product to prevent the
growth of bacteria and mold. Store it in a cool, dry place away from direct
sunlight.
Cleaning Stapelstein ® products
The Stapelstein ® elements are waterproof and can be cleaned in the following manner: Non-Toxic Cleaning: Use only non-toxic and child-safe cleaning solutions when cleaning the product. Avoid harsh chemicals, bleach, or abrasive cleaners that may leave residues. Surface Wiping: For surface cleaning, use a soft cloth or sponge dampened with mild soap and warm water. Gently wipe the product‘s surfaces, paying extra attention to any areas that may come into direct contact with children‘s skin or mouths. Drying: After cleaning, thoroughly dry the product to prevent moisture buildup, which can lead to mold or bacterial growth. Use a clean cloth or allow the product to air dry completely before storing or using it again.
