How to set up the camera

Download App kittyhok, spend a few minutes to register an user account and login.

Bring the camera close to your Wi-Fi router, plug it into power.

How to set up the camera

In App,tap + to add camera.

Select your camera type, follow on-screen guide to add the camera. When it’s done, the camera will display in your camera list. Tap to view live footage. (Default IPC WiFi password is 11111111 if it requires any)

If the camera was not added successfully, hold the reset button for 5 seconds and do it again. Make sure to provide CORRECT WiFi hotspot and password. (2.4G WiFi only)

App – Camera list & Group Cameras

  1. Group. With group, you can group multiple cameras to a quad view or multiple view. Then you can view multiple cameras simultaneously with one tap.

  2. One key Switch – At Home/ Away Mode.
    At home mode — owner is at home, camera DOES NOT RECORD Away mode — owner is away, camera records.

  3. Camera name, network status

  4. Quick menu to recorded photos & videos,edit/ delete camera.

  5. Share device with families or friends

  6. Alarm messages

    App - Camera list & Group Cameras

Group cameras to multi-view: In Camera list, tap Group – Add group – select cameras to form a group. Each group can have up to 16 cameras.

In camera list, tap a camera to enter its live footage.

In camera list, tap Playback to play camera’s recorded videos. Make sure you have Micro SD card in the camera.

Note: Use classl 0 micro SD card for camera storage, or obtain Cloud Storage in App – Me – Cloud Mall. Check SD card status in setting – Device storage.

In camera list, tap Setting to enter camera settings.

  1. Audio ON/ OFF
  2. Voice instruction — voice guide settings
  3. Motion detection settings
  4. Record schedule settings
  5. Sync camera time with your mobile
  6. Mode selection — detect & record plans while user is away/ at home. At home mode — owner is at home, camera DOES NOT RECORD Away mode — owner is away, camera records.

Record Schedule

In record Schedule, you can schedule record times for camera.

In advanced settings, you can set timezone, video image, Device username and password.

In Device WiFi, you can update the camera’s WiFi connection.

Share Videos & Snapshots from phone

While watching live footage or playback, you can save snapshots or video clips to your phone for sharing.

Me – App overall settings

  1. Tap profile photo to enter App account settings; includes email, phone number and change App login password.
  2. Setting —App push alert ON/ OFF and other app settings.
  3. Snapshot/ Record. Access photos & videos you saved to mobile.
  4. Device share management. Manage device sharing.
  5. Push notification. Turn App notification ON/ OFF.

Add camera – Match mode

  1. Take the cameras close tc? the NVR; Install antennas for cameras and NVR.

  2. Plug the camera to power using included power adapter.

  3. Use a network cable to connect the camera to NVR’s LAN port

  4. Right click mouse in your system to enter main menu, then click Video Manage (or Device manage) to enter device manage interface.

  5. The above box shows information of your cameras, the below box shows channel information of your NVR.

  6. Find your new camera on the above box, select it; if you don’t see your new camera, click Refresh.

  7. 7. Select an unoccupied channel of your NVR from below box, and click “Match Code”. It will take seconds for the camera and NVR to get connected.

  8. After it’s successfully connected, you should see Status change to “Connect Success” on the channel. Camera information will disappear from above box. Camera is now successfully paired to the system.

  9. Then you can unplug and move the camera to anywhere you want. When it gets power, it will automatically reconnect. (camera needs to be in the wifi range)

Hold the reset button to bring the camera to configuration mode.

On the NVR, right click -Add Cam by WiFi. Within a minute, the camera will be paired to the NVR.

  • Tips 1: please make sure your NVR has at least one empty channel.
  • Tips 2: you can also use an Ethernet cable to hard wire the camera to the NVR – goto ‘Camera Manage’, refresh to search the camera out,then click to select the camera,select an empty channel, use the ‘Match code’ tool to pair your camera to the NVR.
