Question 1 What does lift-and-look feature do?
Answer 1 The lift-and-look feature allows you to check the progress of the toast without cancelling the toasting process. Just lift the loading handle up at any time during toasting and lower it again to resume toasting. If you find your toast is cooked to your preference, press the cancel button to stop further toasting.
Question 2 The lift-and-look feature allows you to check the progress of the toast without cancelling the toasting process. Just lift the loading handle up at any time during toasting and lower it again to resume toasting. If you find your toast is cooked to your preference, press the cancel button to stop further toasting.
Answer 2 The frozen bread function allows you to toast straight from the freezer. Insert the bread into your toaster, press the loading handle down and then press the frozen bread button. Your toaster will extend the toasting time to allow the bread time to defrost. Watch the toast to ensure that it doesn’t burn.
Question 3 I misplaced the crumb tray. Can I still use my toaster?
Answer 3 Never use your toaster without the crumb tray fitted.
Question 4 I am toasting a single slice of bread, but it seems burnt. What can I do?
Answer 4 If you are toasting a single slice of bread, set the browning control to a lower setting than normal. By using a lower setting when toasting a single slice of bread, it will not be over toasted.
Question 5 How does the reheat function work?
Answer 5 The reheat function will heat up toast that has cooled or gone cold. Press the loading handle down then press the reheat button. Keep a careful eye on the toast to ensure that it doesn’t burn. Don’t use the reheat function on buttered toast.
Question 6 How does the browning control work?
Answer 6 The browning control regulates how much the bread is toasted—in other words, the colour of the toast. Lower settings produce lighter toast and higher settings produce darker toast. When setting the browning control, remember that dry or thin slices of bread will toast quicker and require a lower setting. Moist or thick slices of bread will require a higher setting.
Question 7 Do you have a toaster that would fit Warburtons bread?
Answer 7 Yes, we currently have Breville VTT981 Edge Deep Chassis 2 Slice Toaster specifically designed to toast any tall slice of bread all the way to the top. The slots are 4cm wide and 15cm deep.
Question 8 Bread slots 3 and 4 do not latch. Why?
Answer 8 Your toaster may have this feature: when toasting more than two slices of bread, you can use slots 3 and 4 in addition to slots 1 and 2. Lower the handle marked 1 first, then lower the handle marked 2. Loading handle 2 will not latch unless loading handle 1 is already in the latched position.
Question 9 Can I cancel my toast at any time?
Answer 9 Yes, each Breville toaster comes with a Cancel button. The toasting process can be stopped at any time by pressing the cancel button.
