PIR sensing range

Surface Installation
Installation height: 2.5-4m (typical value: 3m) Sensing distance (Figure 1-1): radius 3M (typical installing height: 3m, according to NEMA test speciﬁca-on). The inspection distance will be reduced at other heights.

Environment

Storage temperature : -25–85℃；
Battery storage temperature: 5-30 ℃；
Working temperature: -20–50℃；
The sensor parameters in this paper are based on ta25 ℃.

Installation method

Remove installing cover
Fix the installing cover to the required position with screws
Release the screw and remove the battery back cover
Install batteries
Installing the rear cover of the battery and ﬁx the screws
Mount the sensor housing on the installing cover.
The ﬁxed position shall be able to bear a weight of ≥ 680g.
Product protection grade: IP20/IP65

Note: If multiple lamps are used in one area, the minimum distance between the two sensors should be 1.5m. It can prevent false triggering.

Procedure For replacing a battery

Battery Precautions

Sensor function setting

After powering on, the sensor will warm up for 1 minute and enter working mode.
Adjust the DIP switch. Dip switches with diﬀerent bit numbers control diﬀerent functions.
Dip switches 1 and 2 adjust the holding time of the sensor.
Dip switches 3 and 4 adjust the background brightness when the sensor is on standby status.
Dip switches 5 and 6 adjust the Bluetooth transmitting power on the default network.

Note: Exit Default hold on time Settings for the sensor is 3 Min, and the background brightness is 20%.Pressing the button triggers diﬀerent functions for diﬀerent durationsRefer to the application guide
Note: after installing the battery, please avoid pressing the function button by mistake

Please Pay Attention

The sensor should be installed at least 2 meters away from the heat source, including air conditioning, heater, ﬁreplace, and other heating equipment.
The sensor installation should be more than 2 meters away from the location of the air outlet, which includes the air outlet of the ventilation pipe, air conditioning air outlet, fan, and other air outlet equipment
There can be no shelter within the sensing range. In winter, if people wear too thick clothes, hats and gloves may not be able to sense, if people wear fewer clothes, the sensing distance will become far, summer temperature is close to the human body temperature, the sensing distance will become close.

The sensor should be installed far away from large equipment, the strong electromagnetic radiation and surges of large equipment may interfere or damage with the sensor
If too much dust accumulates on the induction probe, it will aﬀect the induction distance. It is recommended to wipe the lens gently with a soft, dry cloth.
Please read this manual carefully before installing or using this product.
The sensor should be installed far away from the door or window where there is wind speed and convection, otherwise, it may be triggered frequently by mistake. It is recommended that sensors be installed at a ceiling height of 3m to ensure motion coverage and detection range.
Keep sensors away from routers and other signal devices (Zigbee, WIFI, etc.).
Switch switching time is more than 5s to avoid incomplete recovery of the relay during the use of the product.
Do not collide the lens with hard objects.
Do not press the lens by hand.
If the lens is deformed, contact the dealer to replace it.
If an eﬀective induction signal is generated during the lighting, the lighting time will be postponed. If someone adjusts the time during the light, it takes eﬀect immediately.
Do not cover the sensor. Do not cover or block the wireless antenna on the sensor.
Considering the inﬂuence of metal structure on wire-less signal, ensure that the sensor is far away from the surrounding metal pipes and concrete steel structure in the ﬁeld installation process, so as to reduce the negative impact of metal pipes and concrete steel structure on wireless communication. If there are metal pipes, concrete steel structures, and other partitions between the sensor and the lamp, the transmission distance of the wireless signal will be aﬀect-ed.
The sensors shall be installed by a qualiﬁed electrician.
Sensors must not be used or stored in corrosive environments where hazardous materials such as Sulphur, Chlorine, phthalates, etc, are present.
The product is IPX0 & as such is not protected against water ingress & as such we strongly recommend that the environment in which the luminaire is to be installed is suitably checked If the above advice is not taken and the luminaires are subject to water ingress, Philips / Signify cannot guarantee safe failure & product warranty will become void.
When the product is low in power, please replace the battery in time. After replacing the battery, ensure that the battery is properly installed. If the suspension buckle is cracked or deformed, stop using it.
If the product is not used for a long time, please remove the battery.
The product contains complimentary batteries. If you ﬁnd any problems such as battery swelling, leakage, or failure to work, please buy and replace them yourself.
