SMONET Electronic Keypad Deadbolt Lock

What’s in the Box?

lnstallation

Step1: Install the latch

Measure to confirm that the backset is either 2.36″(60mm) or 2.75″(70mm). Twist the latch to extend the length if it is 70mm. Note: The latch remains retracted during installation.

Step2: Install the strike

Put the strike plate and pad together and install them on the door frame .

Step 3: Install the exterior assembly

The cable passes through the door underneath the latch.

Step 4: Install the mounting plate

The cable comes out from the bottom hole of the mounting plate. Make sure the exterior assembly is installed straight before driving the screws.

Step 5: Connect the exterior assembly with the interior assembly

Make sure the cable is firmly connected to the port.

Step 6: Turn the toggle switch accordingly based on your door types

Step 7: Adjust the knob based on your door types and fix the interior assembly on your door

The knob stays vertical for right-hand doors and horizontal for left-hand doors.

Step 8: Put in batteries

Note: Use new, non-rechargeable alkaline batteries only

The lock is now installed! Let’s do a final test!

1. Leave the door open
2. Extend and retract the latch using the inside knob.
3. Make sure the bolt retracts smoothly.
4. Unlock the door.
5. Press and hold the # key for two seconds to lock it.
6. Enter original ad min passcode 123456# to unlock it.

App Instructions

Connect the lock to your phone

1. Download the app
   Android: Please search Next lock or TTLock in Google Play iOS: Please search Next lock or TTLock in APP Store

2. Register your own account to log in.

3. Pair the lock with your phone in the app

• Press any keys on the keypad to activate the lock then click “+”
• Confirm your door types

App Overview

Lock/unlock your door within Bluetooth range(2 meters)

1. eKeys: Enable other app users to gain access to app control of the lock{Lock/unlock the door within Bluetooth range).
   Note: Recipients of eKeys must have a separate app account.

2. Passcodes: Set and manage keypad passcodes.
   Note: All types of passcodes are randomly generated except
   “custom passcode” .

3. Cards: Set and manage IC cards
   Note: Follow the tips and swipe your cards on the keypad.

4. Fingerprint: Set and manage fingerprints.
   Note:

5. To improve accuracy, please make sure the surf ace of the fingerprint sensor is clean.

6. Please try different fingers if your prints are not recognized as some people’s prints are somewhat damaged.

7. Authorized Ad min: Enable other app users to gain nearly full control of the lock except for access to ad min passcodes and further authorizing others as authorized admins
   Note: Recipients must have a separate app account.

11. Door Sensor: Add door sensors(sold separately) to lock the door automatically only when it is closed and for you to view door status {Smonet G2 gateway required).

12. Remote Unlock: Turn on/off this option to allow/deny access to remote control.

13. Auto Lock: Set the lock to automatically lock itself after a specific period of time.

14. Privacy Lock: Turn on/off this option to enable/disable the secure lock mode.
    Secure lock mode: All methods of unlocking the door are invalid except admin passcode, app control, physical keys and the inside knob. Unlock the lock once to disable the secure lock mode.

15. Reset Button: Turn it on/off to enable/disable the reset button.

16. Door Opening Direction: Adjust the settings based on your door types (right/left-hand doors)

17. Import data from other locks(fingerprints excluded)

Programming Guide

Please keep the door open while testing and programming the smart lock in case of being locked out accidentally. ****

Default Adm in Passcode:
123456 (When the lock is not paired with phones).

How to unlock the door via keypad?
Enter your passcode and then press the # key.

How to lock the door via keypad?
Press and hold the # key for 2s.

How to change admin passcode via keypad?
Enter *12# 123456# new ad min passcode# re-input the new ad min passcode# on the keypad.

Note: The def a ult ad min passcode would be changed once the lock is paired with phones.

How to reset the lock?

Note : Reset the lock when you want to erase data stored in it or fail to connect it to your phone.

Method 1:

1. Take out 1 battery, wait for 5s and then put it back in.
2. Press and hold the reset button right away for 1 Os.
3. Input 000# on the keypad after you hear “Please input the initialization passcode.

Note: The lock won’t be automatically deleted from the app even if it is reset. Please refer to the following steps to remove it from the app. Open the app>Click the “menu” icon (at the upper left corner)> Settings>Transfer Locks>Choose locks>Move Faulty/Damaged locks to Trash” ( at the lower right corner).

Secure Lock Mode

What is secure lock mode?
In this mode, all the methods of unlocking the door would be invalid except keys, app, admin passcode and knob

How to turn it on/off?
Hold the secure lock button for 25 to turn it on. Use keys/app/admin passcode/knob to unlock the door to turn it off.
