Smart Lock Installation
5.1 Preparation before Installation
-
Make sure that the following criteria are met so that the Smart Lock can be installed.
1 Check the door status. Make sure the door frame is aligned with the door.
2 There are no obstructions stuck in the door frame.
3 Leave enough space for the deadbolt to extend in to the door frame when the door is locked. -
Check your door/frame dimensions to make sure that they fit the following measurements:
If you have an existing lock, remove it, including the bolt.
5.2 Installation Steps
• Step1: Install the Deadbolt
To install the deadbolt:

Measure your door’s backset dimension: whether it is 2 ⅜” I60mm or 2 ¾ /70mm.

If your door’s backset dimensions 2 g / 60mm, use the provided deadbolt to install.
If your door’s backset dimensions 2 ¾” 70mm, pull to extend simultaneously until the deadbolt locks in position as the illustration shows below.
Note: The pin hole must be square in the parallel vision,or the door handle will be stuck when turning. -
3 Insert the deadbolt into the door.

Screw into the door frame with a screwdriver.

What is required: Deadbolt, Deadbolt Screws, Screwdriver.
• Step2: Install the Strike Plate
If you have an existing strike plate installed, skip this step.
To install the strike plate:
- Align the strike plate with the center hole of the deadbolt.
- Secure the strike plate with strike screws. Make sure the plate is placed in the correct direction.
- What is required: Strike Plate, Strike Screws, Screwdriver.
• Step3: Install the Front Panel
To install the front panel into the door frame:

Measure your cross bore dimension and determine the installation steps accordingly.
Note: please confirm the handle direction of front panel, it only can be adjusted before installation. -
Please use the provided the front panel screws to assist in installing the front panel.

You need to insert the pin into the little hole to assist in installing the front panel.

Make sure the flat ruler insert the center hole of the deadbolt.

Route the IC wire on the front panel on the top of the deadbolt.

What is required: Front Panel, Front Panel Screws.
• Step4: Install the Mounting Plate
-
Route the IC wire through the mounting plate.(Special hole)
-
Fix the mounting plate into the interior door frame using the mounting plate screws.
Make sure the screws go through the holes of the deadbolt and the mounting plate,and lock into place. -
What is required: Mounting Plate, Mounting Plate Screws
• Step5: Install the Back Panel
To install the Back Panel:
- Check/Adjust the Handle Direction before installation. Remove the battery cover.
- Into the socket in one way. Make sure you match the dot on the connector with the pin on the circuit board correctly.
- Align the tailpiece with the key cylinder.
- Secure the provided screws into the back panel.
What is required: Back Panel, Back Panel Screws, Screwdriver.
• Step6: Install Batteries
Insert 4 AA batteries into the battery compartment matching the polarity(+/-)
indicated.
Smart Lock Setup
6.1 Pairing Lock to Phone App
- Download Free App “TTLock”
- Register and Login the Account
- Add the lock,turn on Bluetooth, open the TTLock>Add Lock> Door Lock>Touch keypad to make the light on>Next>find the lock Nearby>Click it>Name the lock>OK
6.2. How to Reset
If the lock was previously added, we need to reset the lock first.
Note: The user who has been paired with the lock initially can authorize
other users to use the lock.
How to reset the smart lock? When the lock is added.
Take Apart the interior panel, don’t need to remove the batteries, press and
hold the reset button(this little button is on the circuit board), you will
hear please enter the initialization passcode, enter 000# on the keypad, the
lock will return to default settings. All the settings will be erased and need
to be reset. You will hear please add Bluetooth admin for the lock. DO NOT
press and hold the button if unnecessary.
6.3. How to Authorize
Note: The authorized users must register for a TTLock account on their
own phone in advance!
- Click “Authorized Admin”.
- “Create Admin”
- Select “Permanent” and enter recipient’s account and name it
- Turn on “Remote Unlock”
- “Send”
6.4 How to send ekey
- Click “Send eKey”.
- Select the key type, Timed/Permanent/One- time/Recurring, then fill in the recipient account and enter the key name
- Remote locking and administrator authorization ore optional
- Click “Send”, the recipient can log in the App to operate the authorized smart lock
6.5 How to set passcode
- The owner posscode: You are the owner of the smart lock, so you can set your owner passcode. Click Settings>Basic> Admin Passcode. The admin passcode should be 4 to 9 characters. Click passcode and you can change it.
- Share the passcode with your guests and family members:
Click Generate Passcode>Custom> give a name for the passcode >turn on permanent button>set the code you want, it should be 4 to 9 characters.
Unlock the Door

Unlock with App
Please keep your phone and lock within 16ft and turn on bluetooth on your phone. Press for unlock, Long Press for lock. -
Unlock with fingerprint
Please Register your fingerprint and make it recorded successfully. Then unlock by scanning your fingerprint. -
Unlock via IC Cards
The package comes with 2 IC cards.If need more, you can purchase them separately. Please add IC Cards and place the IC Cards against the card reader sensor on the smart lock. -
Unlock with Code
Please click the Generate password>Name it>Generate>Complete
Note:You can select Permanent,Timed, One-time, Custom, Recurring. Enter the passcode on the keypad to unlock. -
Unlock with Physical Keys
The package comes with 5 keys.
Remotely Unlock on TTLock
The Smart Lock needs to be connected with the G2 Gateway for Remotely
unlock the door or Use Alexa/Google Home.
(G2 Gateway is sold Separately)
- Please keep the gateway and phone connected with the same wifi(Only 2.4Ghz supported). The distance between the gateway and lacks within 16ft.
- Power on the gateway and it will keep red and blue flashing. Please finish setup within 2 minutes.
- Turn on Bluetooth on your phone, go to TTLock>click the left top corner>Gateway>click”+”>find the gateway>clicl”+” > select wif name, input password>ok.
- When set up successfully,the gateway will find your locks. And please keep unlock remotely on.Press for unlock, Long press for lock.
- Open your App>Settings(on the main page)>Remote unlock> turn on
- Remote Unlock: Touch the little button (close to the main button, like the lock icon with wifi)
- Remote Lock: Press and hold the main button, (like the lock icon)
How to Work with Alexa
The Smart Lock needs to be connected with the G2 Gateway for Remotely
unlock the door or Use Alexa/Google Home.
(G2 Gateway is sold Separately)
- Open your Alexa app>More>Skills&Games>Search TTLock>Click ENABLE TO USE>Login your account> Authorize
- Click Locks>Lock name>click settings>keep Unlock via app and Unlock via voice code on.
Note: When your account is phone number,pls add”+1″,e.g: +113424204320
FAQ
Q:How to find & change admin passcode
– A:
On the TTLock App, please open your TTLock>Settings>Basics >Admin Passcode.
Click passcode and change it( please make sure that Bluetooth is turned on and
the distance between phone and the lock within 5 meters.)
Q:Why can not connect the gateway with lock
– A:
1)Please kindly note that the gateway only works with 2.4Ghz wifi, and make
sure the distance between the lock and the gateway within 16ft.
2)If the gateway still not find the lock, please contact us at
smonetserviceH@hotmail.com with Amazon
order ID and phone number, we can send video for connection.
Q:Locked out and can not unlock
– A:
1)Please try to use the physical key to unlock the door. If it can work only
with key but not the app,passcode,fingerprint etc.
Please contact us at
smonetserviceH@hotmail.com with your
Amazon order ID and video so that we can help troubleshoot.
2)If you can not unlock even with the physical key, please double check the
inside of the front panel and make sure you have inserted the cotter pin
inside.
3)If still can not figure out, please contact us at
smonetserviceH@hotmail.com, we can send
you video for troubleshoot.
Q:How to Reset
– A:
1)Please take off the back panel (No need to take off the batteries, Mak sure
the IC wire keeps staying in connection status. And you can find little button
on the outside of the back panel.
2)Long press the button for about 3 seconds until you hear the tip,input
default passcode”000#”and then you will hear a voice says reset successfully.
3)If still can not reset successfully, please contact us at
smonetserviceH@hotmail.com. We can send
you video for reset.
Q:Why the battery drains so quickly
– A:
1)Please make sure you use the standard 4AA battery.
2)Check whether the smart.
3)Check whether water spills in the interior Assemble. Exposure to water will
drain the battery quickly.
4)If not work with new battery,please contact customer service at
