Product Usage Instructions

Step 1: Connect the Device

Ensure that all devices are switched off.
Connect one end of the HDMI cable to the HDMI input port of your TV.
Connect the other end of the HDMI cable to the HDMI (female) input port of the Connect ARC13 converter.
Connect one end of the RCA cable to the L/R audio out (RCA) output port of the Connect ARC13 converter.
Connect the other end of the RCA cable to your powered speakers.

Step 2: Power On the Device

Connect one end of the micro-USB power cable to the power input port of the Connect ARC13 converter.
Connect the other end of the micro-USB power cable to a 5V USB power source.
Turn on the power source.

Step 3: Set Up the Device

Turn on your TV.
Use the TV remote or CEC remote to control the audio output.

Notes for using the product

Make sure that HDMI CEC is enabled on your TV to control the volume with your TV remote. CEC is called differently by all TV brands. For questions about CEC, please check our FAQ.
The Connect ARC13 is able to convert multi channel audio formats (e.g. Dolby Digital or DTS 5.1) into a stereo audio output signal.
