ARM COVER INSTALLATION
Safety steps:
- Always wear safety glasses/goggles to prevent injury from debris.
- Follow the installation/removal instructions for your existing products.
TOOL LIST:
- P1 or P2, Phillips screwdriver
- Safety glasses/goggles
NOTE:
- Attach the arm to the wall bracket and mount TV to the arm before beginning cover installation.
- The arm Safety Brake Pin must be removed from the arm nose to install the new Nose Arm Cover.
- DO NOT DISCARD THE SAFETY BRAKE PIN. Keep the safety pin for future service of the arm and/or TV. Locate the plastic Retainer Clip attached to the Arm’s safety brake pin. Attach the safety brake pin/clip to the coax cable inside the nose as shown.
PARTS LIST for KIT:
- (1) PD216-102L Base Cover
- (1) PD216-102R Base Cover
- (2) PD216-103 Elbow Covers
- (1) PD216-057L Left Nose Cover
- (1) PD216-057R Right Nose Cover
- (8) PD209-004 Painted Cover Screw
WALL MOUNTED ARM PDI-AA14XX
STEP 1. Attach the left and right Base Covers using (4) PD209-004 screws.
STEP 2. Starting at the top of the elbow cover, hook the cover over the
elbow plate on each side. Ensure the tabs on each half align with each other.
Snap the lower hooks on the bottom of the elbow cover.
STEP 3. Attach the left and right Nose covers to the nose, using (4)
PD209-004 screws.
STEP 4. Rotate the TV and move the arm through its range of travel to
check for any interference issues.
NOTE: When the covers are properly installed there should only be a thin
seam visible where the halves meet.
CEILING MOUNTED ARM – PDI-AC14XX & PDI-AD14XX
STEP 1. Starting at the top of the elbow cover, hook the cover over the
elbow plate on each side. Ensure the tabs on each half align with each other.
Snap the lower hooks on the bottom of the elbow cover.
STEP 2. Attach the left and right Nose covers to the nose, using (4)
PD209-004 screws.
STEP 3. Rotate the TV and move the arm through its range of travel to
check for any interference issues.
NOTES:
- When the covers are properly installed there should only be a thin seam visible where the halves meet.
- The Base Covers and 4 Screws are not used on the ceiling-mounted arm. These parts can be kept or discarded.
