Installation
Choose the type of air circulation:
- Eksterni odvod vazduha (External air exhaust): In this position, the air is expelled from the room.
- Unutrasnja cirkulacija (Internal air circulation): In this position, the air circulates within the room.
Usage
- Motor Switch: Press this switch to stop the motor.
- Speed Switch: When pressed, the motor will operate at low speed.
- Speed Switch: When pressed, the motor will operate at medium speed.
- Speed Switch: When pressed, the motor will operate at high speed.
- Light On/Off Switch: Press this switch to turn on the light and press it again to turn it off.
Usage Tips:
Clean the ventilation fans regularly. Do not allow grease to accumulate on
the fan or filter.
Troubleshooting
Problem: Light is on but motor is not running.
- Possible Cause: Blades are blocked.
- Solution: Check the blades.
Problem: Motor and sensor are not working.
- Possible Cause: Damaged capacitor.
- Solution: Replace the capacitor.
Problem: Oil leakage.
- Possible Cause: Motor damage.

Check and, if necessary, replace the fan blades. Make sure the motor is
securely fastened.Problem: Insufficient air extraction.
Adjust the distance between the hood and the cooking surface. Consider the
effect of open windows or doors on ventilation and adjust as needed.Problem:
The device is not level.
Adjust the position of the hood to be horizontal and tighten the securing
screws.

Installation
Choose the type of air circulation: external air exhaust or internal circulation. Refer to the diagram for the handle position for selecting the type of circulation.
Usage Instructions
- Motor switch: Press this switch to stop the motor.
- Speed switch: When pressed, the motor will operate at low speed.
- When pressed again, the motor will operate at medium speed.
- When pressed again, the motor will operate at high speed.
- Light on/off switch: Press this switch to turn the light on and press it again to turn it off.
Lighting
Replacing the light bulb:
- Turn off the device and remove the power plug before any maintenance.
- Remove the grease filter to access the light bulb.
- Disconnect the lamp connector.
- Replace the lamp with a new one of the same type, ensuring it is correctly connected to the lamp connector.
- Turn the power back on.

Cleaning and Maintenance
Regularly clean the ventilation fans. Do not allow grease to accumulate on
the fan or filter.
Butterfly Damper Installation
Hold the butterfly damper by hand, align it with the suction opening as shown in the illustration, insert the damper and turn it until the three clamps of the vent click into place. The installation is complete when the external air deflectors and butterfly damper meet the requirements of standard IEC/EN 60335-1.

How do I replace the light bulb in my HURRICANE series hood?
Turn off the device, remove the power plug, remove the grease filter, disconnect the lamp connector, replace the lamp with the correct type, and reconnect the power.
