AMPLIDECT295 Additional Handset
Congratulations on purchasing your Geemarc PhotoDECT295 handset, offering all
the advantages of cordless technology
(compliant with Digitally Enhanced Cordless Telecommunications – DECT
standard). which can be used as additional handset with our AMPLIDECT295 or
AMPLIDECT COMBI 295 phones.
The Photodect 295 is hearing aid compatible.
CAUTION: Use only the battery pack provided. There may be a risk of
explosion if a wrong type of battery is used for the handset. Do not subject
the battery to extreme high or low temperatures, or low air pressure at high
altitude during use, storage or transportation. Disposal of battery into fire
or a hot oven, or mechanically crushing or cutting or the battery can result
in an explosion. Subjecting the battery pack to an extremely high temperature
environment, or extremely low air pressure can result in an explosion, or
leakage of flammable liquid or gas.
Normal operating temperature for the product (e.g.0oC~40 o C). Use only the adapters and battery pack listed below.

PACKAGE CONTENTS
1 cordless handset, 1 Power adapter, 1 Charger, 1 NiMh battery pack, 1 User guide.
INSTALLATION
Connect the cable from the power adapter to the small round socket on the base
of the pod. Then plug the power adapter into a mains outlet socket.
Only use the power adapter supplied with this phone!
Connect the battery pack
Connect the short lead from the battery pack to the socket inside the battery
compartment. Carefully fit the battery pack as shown.
Align the battery cover flat against the battery compartment, then slide it towards the center of the handset until it clicks into place
Charge the battery pack
Charge the batteries for at least 16 hours when charging for the first time.
Note : YOU WILL NEED TO REGISTER THIS HANDSET WITH A BASE STATION FROM
ONE OF THE FOLLOWING PRODUCTS: DECT BASE (AMPLIDECT COMBI 295 or
AMPLIDECT295).

– Long flashes in red when the handset battery is low.
– Flashes red quickly when handset registration is in progress.
– Flashes red slowly when the handset is not registered or nin charger.
– Steady blue when the booster function is activated. -
Photo speed dial keys
This handset has 4 photo speed dial keys. These retrieves the same numbers stored in the photo and Direct Memory keys of the AMPLIDECT295 or AMPLIDECT COMBI 295.
Press to dial a pre-stored number. -
Talk ON / Flash ( )
– Make or answer a call.
– Green light shows when handset is in earpiece mode.
– During a call, Press to access Recall feature (R). -
TALK OFF ( )
– Hang up a call.
– Silence the ringer temporarily while the phone is ringing.
– Mute the paging tone. -
SPEAKERPHONE ( )
– Make or answer a call using the speakerphone.
– Switch between the speakerphone and the earpiece.
– Light Orange when on speakerphone mode. -

VOL+ ( )
– Increase listening volume up to 30dB amplification during a call, (or increase ringer volume in idle mode).
– Press and hold the key during a call to activate or no the receiver Booster function (LED bleu). -
VOL- ( )
Decrease listening volume during a call. (or decrease ringer volume in idle mode (until ringer turn OFF)).
HANDSET REGISTRATION
Base: First place the base of the AMPLIDECT295 or AMPLIDECT COMBI 295 in
Registration mode.
Handset: Place the handset in the Pod. The red LED flashes quickly to show
registration in process.
Registration can take up to 60 seconds. A confirmation tone is heard when
registration is complete.
Note: Repeat this procedure if the handset remains unregistered. Quickly press
[VOL+] [SPK] [VOL-] [SPK] [VOL+] [VOL-] [SPK] in idle mode, then HS will have
a “Bi,Bi” tone to confirm that the procedure is a success.
BOOSTER MODE
Booster mode will increase the listening volume (by up to 30dB amplification).
- During a call, press and hold the VOL+ button for 2 seconds to turn on BOOSTER MODE. (LED will be steady blue).
- To switch off BOOSTER MODE, press and hold VOL+ again.
GUARANTEE
From the moment your Geemarc PhotoDECT295 is purchased, Geemarc guarantee it
for the period of two years. During this time, all repairs or replacements (at
our discretion) are free of charge. Should you experience a problem then
contact our help line or visit our website at
www.geemarc.com.
The guarantee does not cover accidents, negligence or breakages to any parts.
The product must not be tampered with or taken apart by anyone who is not an
authorized Geemarc representative.
The Geemarc guarantee in no way limits your legal rights.
IMPORTANT: YOUR RECEIPT IS PART OF YOUR GUARANTEE AND MUST BE RETAINED
AND PRODUCED IN THE EVENT OF A WARRANTY CLAIM.

Electrical connection: The apparatus is designed to operate from a 230V 50Hz
supply only. (Classified as hazardous voltage according to EN62368-1
standard).
The apparatus does not incorporate an integral power on/off switch. To switch
off the apparatus, disconnect the power adaptor.
When installing the apparatus, ensure that the mains power socket is readily
accessible.
Recycling Directives
The WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) has been put in place for
the products at the end of their useful life are recycled in the best way.
When this product is finished with, please do not put it in your domestic
waste bin. Please use one of the following disposal options:

Remove the batteries and deposit them in an appropriate WEEE skip.
Deposit the product in an appropriate WEEE skip. -
Or, hand the old product to the retailer. If you purchase a new one, they should accept it.
