INTRODUCTION

Electric control liquid filling machine adopts a microcomputer to control micro pump in the filling time, motor speed and other factors, so that it can achieve stable filling results with small error. It is widely used in pharmaceutical, chemical, food, beverages, oils, cosmetics and other industries, being suitable for small batch production of low viscosity and particle-free liquid.

  5. Large filling range (diaphragm pump): For micro pump machine, it is adjustable from 3ml to 3000ml; for large pump machine, from 10ml t 150,000ml
  6. The whole body is made of stainless steel.

INSTALLATION

Take 2-nozzle diaphragm pump filling machine as an example

  1. Use the hexagon wrench in the package to loosen the screw of black clip, insert a stainless steel rod, and then use the hexagon wrench to tighten the

  3. Use one screw to clamp an aluminum alloy block on the rod, then pass the filling head through the hole of the aluminum alloy block, and then use another screw to clamp it

CONTROL PANEL

Control Panel

  1. Set/exit button: Press it to set the filling/waiting time(unit: seconds). And press it again to exit the setting.
  2. Move button: Move the cursor from left to right to choose the digit you want to edit.
  3. Add/unit button: While setting: Adjust the setting number from 0-9 circularly. While not under setting: move the place of the point.
  4. Reset button: Clear the number of counter to ZERO.
  5. Inching button: Press and hold it to clear the air inside the silicone tube and pump before filling. You also can press and hold it to pull liquid out of the silicone tube and clean the machine conveniently.
  6. Setting button: Use it to roughly measure out the filling time you should set: i. Put mesh filters into liquid, turn on the machine. ii. Press “Setting” button, and machine will start filling, when the desired volume is reached, press this button again, filling will stop. And the filling time will be shown on the screen. It is a rough value. Please further adjust the filling time if necessary. /.Manual button: Press it to choose manual filling mode, then you should press pedal to control machine fill.
  7. Auto button: Set the waiting time between two times of filling. Press “Auto” to choose auto filling mode. Then machine will automatically fill according to filling time, filling speed, and waiting time(between two filling processes) you set.

ADDITIONAL PUMP CONTROL PANEL

(Pump Control) + and -: Increase and decrease running speed of pump, the bigger the number is, the faster the speed is.

(Pump Control) On/Off: Open or close pump.

**What is the number shows on screen mean?

Filling time and waiting time: “01.00” means 1 second. “00.10″ means 0.1 seconds. “10. 00″ means 10 seconds. If you move the point by pressing the “Add/unit”(should exit setting first), its meaning will change. For example: 010.0 means 10 seconds, 001.0 means 1 second, and 1000.0 means 1000 seconds.
Counter: It is the number of times you have filled.

OPERATION

  1. Test out the setting you should set
    Recommended measuring tool: measuring cup or scale.
    Volume= Filling Speed/Pump Speed x Filling Time

NOTE: If the tube is bent, or there is air left in the tube, the data will vary, so collecting several groups of data is important.

  1. Set Parameters
    Preparation:
    Put inlet tube into your product container, and place a measuring cup under the nozzle(or a bottle on scale)

  2. Empty the air in the tube: press and hold the “Inching” key until there is liquid be dispensed from the filling nozzle. It indicates the tube is filled with liquid now.

  3. Set the speed of pump: set the number/rotate the knob

  4. Quickly measure out the filling time: empty your bottle. Press “Setting” key, machine will start filling. When the dispensed amount reached your wanted amount, press “Setting” key again. Filling machine will stop filling. The filling time on the screen is the rough value needed.

  5. If you think the filling time needs adjustment, press . to make your adjustment.

  6. Auto filling mode: set “Waiting time” as it is instructed in the chapter “Control Panel”. Press “Auto” key | Machine will start filling. And there is no need to press any key while working, because the machine will fill according to the filling time, waiting time and filling speed you set. If any adjustment needed, it is OK to adjust them while working. When it is needed to stop working, press “Auto” key again. Then machine will stop filling.

  7. Manual filling mode: connect the pedal with the machine. Press the “Manual” key M . Then press the pedal to finish each filling process.

  8. Empty the liquid in tube: take the inlet tube out of your liquid container, press and hold “Inching” key until there is no liquid be dispensed from nozzle.
    Clean the tube:
    Diaphragm pump filling machine: put inlet tube into clean water or mild detergent, press and hold “Inching” key. Repeat a few more times and the cleaning is over. For diaphragm pump filling machine, it is recommended to leave some clean water inside the tube to maintain the pump. Peristaltic pump filling machine: (Peristaltic pump is on the left side of the machine housing.) put inlet tube into clean water or mild detergent, press and hold “Inching” key. Repeat a few more times and the cleaning is over. Additionally, the tube on peristaltic pump can be removed. Please oosen these four screws around the peristaltic pump with hex wrench(in package) and take then out, and remove the tube for cleaning.

FAQ

Q I got a liquid filling machine with multiple nozzles. I set same speeds of pumps while filling results are different?

A Because the motor speeds of pumps have slight differences so that cannot ensure each nozzle’s flow is exactly the same at the sarne speed setting. You can adjust speed control knob/digit control panel to make their filling speeds being the same. Here are the steps:
Set filling time as 1 second and set all speeds to max. Then fill 1 time into the empty bottles and weigh each bottle to find the lightest one. And firstly adjust the smallest volume filling nozzle to the required filling volume, then adjust other filling nozzles.

Q New diaphragm pump machine cannot pump any liquid?

A Because there is no liquid left inside the pump, diaphragm pump looks like it is “broken” while actually not. Please follow the steps below to make it work.

  1. Please first confirm the working sound of pump can be heard which shows there is no issue with pump. (If the working sound cannot be heard, it means the pump is disconnected, please open the machine and tighten the wire.)
  2. Put mesh strainer into clean water. Press and hold “Inching” key to see if machine can draw water. If not, please turn to the next step.
  3. Remove the mesh strainer and white check valve attached to the inlet tube.

Use syringe to manually add water into tube and gently shake it to help water enter the pump.
Start machine again to check if it can work. If not, please repeat the operation of “manually add water”.

Q Pedal won’t work?

A Maybe the pedal is broken, or the wire connecting the pedal and board is loosen. Confirm whether other functions of machine are normal, open the machine to check whether the wire is loosen, If yes, tighten it. If not, contact us for replacement pedal.

Q Control panel is curved and there is a sound of metal falling inside the machine?

A The nuts securing the panel frame are loose. If you mind this appearance, please open the machine, and then re-tighten the screws and nuts that fix the panel frame.

Q The filling accuracy changes too much between two fillings?

A It may be because the white check valve on the tube or the mesh strainer is faulty. You can first remove the check valve on the inlet pipe to see if there is still a large error between two fillings. In addition, whether the tube is bent, whether there are a large number of bubbles in the tube, whether the mesh strainer is fully immersed, and whether the product barrel is too far away from the machine may cause errors.

MAINTENANCE

Clean the filter periodically or the debris and small granules will affect the accuracy of filling. If it is found that the pump motor can work, but no water comes out or flow becomes very small, there are two possible causes, the one is pump(regarding for gear pump and diaphragm pump) inside is empty, please manually add water into tube until water enter pump; another one Is that pump body is full of impurity, disassemble the pump, check if the gears were blocked by them, lastly ,clean them and tighten the screw pump cavity. During maintenance work, please strictly observed to maintain attention, otherwise it can not guarantee the safe operation of the machine.

APPANDIX

All pump type filling machines have a common feature: the more viscous the liquid, the slower  the filling speed, and the value of max. Flow rate indicated on the model is for water. Contact us and tell us your requirement, we’ll recommend you the most suitable machine.
Appendix

Diaphragm pump filling machine
can only be used for filling thin to low viscosity liquid. Please use according to the viscosity range of the machine. Please don’t use it for liquid contains particles, or particles will block the pump and make it cannot work normally, if that happened, it is needed to open the pump to remove it. Please don’t use it for strong corrosive substances, liquids in the range of 5-8 PH are the most suitable, otherwise the life of the pump will be greatly shortened. It is not recommended to use it for filling liquid with too much bubble, or the error will be large.

Peristaltic pump filling machine
can be used for filling thin and viscous liquid. Of course, it depends on the model you choose. Micro peristaltic pump can only be used for thin liquid, while large peristaltic pump can be used for nail polish, gel, etc. If interested, please contact us to know more or search these products sold in our store on Amazon, Peristaltic pump is corrosion-resistant because the liquid only contacts tube. If your liquid is strong corrosive, please replace the peristaltic pump tube and silicone tube with suitable tubes. But please note that the peristaltic pump tube(the tube around the pump) cannot be replaced with a non-peristaltic pump tubing, otherwise the peristaltic pump will not running. Peristaltic pump tube is consumables, normally, it breaks before silicone tube breaks, and there will be leakage around the pump. Just open the cover of pump, and replace the peristaltic pump tube. Appendix

Magnetic pump filling machine
is designed for corrosive liquid. Its pump is made of SUS 316 which can stand many corrosive chemicals such as acetone. It has the advantage of maintenance- free, and the service life of the pump is up to 10 years. So he is often selected as the filling equipment by the factory. It can fill soapy liquid which is easy to foam while being pumped by diaphragm pump and peristaltic pump, such as liquid soap. However, it cannot be used for liquid with particles, or viscous liquid.
