STARTING THE CHAINSAW

40CC Portable Gas Chainsaw with Blade Sheath

BEFORE STARTING THE CHAINSAW

• Mix gasoline with oil.
• Fill the fuel tank.
• Fill the chain oil reservoir with bar and chain oil.

1. Make sure chain brake is enganged.

2. Push the purge bulb 10-20 times until bulb is full of fuel.

3. Pull the choke knob out until a “click” is heard.

4. Pull the starter rope rapidly 1-4 times or until the engine pops.

5. Push the choke knob in.

6. Pull the starter rope rapidly 1-4 times to start the engine.
   If engine does not start, repeat steps 3-6.

7. Press and hold the throttle lockout and lightly squeeze the throttle to idle the engine.

8. Allow the engine to warm up for 30-60 seconds.

9. Disengage the chain brake. C
