Introduction
The Revopoint Handheld Stabilizer is specially designed for
smooth handheld scans. Its high-precision gyroscope and
anti-shaking systems significantly reduce low-point cloud accuracy
and tracking loss due to shaking. The motorized axes allow you to
pan or tilt the scanner as you move around the object.
Working Mode
The Handheld Stabilizer supports two working modes:
Intelligent Tracking Mode
In this mode, the Handheld Stabilizer will automatically keep
the 3D scanner focused on the object being scanned as you move
around it.
Pan Locked Mode
The pan motor is locked in place without following the handle’s
movements.
Setting up the Handheld Stabilizer
Follow these steps to set up the Handheld Stabilizer:
Step 1: Clip the Revopoint 3D scanner into the quick-release
slot on the top of the Handheld Stabilizer.
Note: Make sure your scanner has a Quick Setup Board. Check and
use a screwdriver to tighten it if it’s loose.
Step 2: Connect and secure the Type C cable to the
scanner.
Note: If your scanner has a Type-C power port, use the Type-C
Adapter to connect it.
Step 3: Long press the Power Button to turn on the Handheld
Stabilizer and power the 3D scanner on.
When the scanner’s LED turns solid green, it’s ready to
connect.
Connecting to a PC
Follow these steps to connect the Handheld Stabilizer to a
PC:

Each Revopoint 3D scanner has a unique Wi-Fi name. Check your
scanner’s serial number on its back to identify your scanner’s
Wi-Fi connection. The following is an example of how to connect a
RANGE with the serial number: A22B0025-2B6F10A74. -
Search for the WLAN: RANGE-REVO-A22B0025 and connect to
it. -
Double-click to open Revo Scan on your PC and confirm the
scanner is connected successfully. -
Go to the scanning interface –> Accessories Menu –>
Handheld Stabilizer –> Click Connection. -
Select the Handheld Stabilizer from the available devices and
click Connect. When it’s connected successfully, the Bluetooth LED
will turn solid blue. (Make sure the PC’s Bluetooth is On.) -
Start your scan.
Connecting to a smartphone
Follow these steps to connect the Handheld Stabilizer to a
smartphone:

The following is an example of how to connect a RANGE with the
serial number: A22B0025-2B6F10A74. -
Screw the Phone Holder Bracket into the 1/4 Threaded Hole, then
attach the Phone Holder that came with your Revopoint 3D scanner if
you want to connect your phone.

Introduction
The Revopoint Handheld Stabilizer is specially designed for smooth handheld
scans. Its high-precision gyroscope and anti-shaking systems significantly
reduce low-point cloud accuracy and tracking loss due to shaking. The
motorized axes allow you to pan or tilt the scanner as you move around the
object.
Battery Indicator Shows the remaining battery level. The LED indicator flashes
continuously while charging and turns solid white when fully charged.
Bluetooth LED Shows the Handheld Stabilizer’s Bluetooth connection status.
Flashing Blue: Powered on, and the Bluetooth is ready for connection. Solid

Joystick Controls the scanner’s movement. Up/Down: Tilt control Left/Right:
Pan control
1/4 Threaded Hole Screw in the phone holder bracket, then attach the Phone
Holder that came with your Revopoint 3D scanner if you want to connect your
phone.
ON/OFF Switch Press and hold to power on/off the Handheld Stabilizer. Press
once to recenter the Handheld Stabilizer. Double press quickly to change
between Follow/Pan Locked mode.
Start/Pause Scan Button Press once to start or pause the scan. Double press to
activate or deactivate Intelligent Tracking mode.
Type-C Port The Handheld Stabilizer’s charging port.

Setting up the Handheld Stabilizer

b. Connect the scanner to your phone via Wi-Fi. Select the Network RANGE-REVO-
A22B0025 on your phone’s WLAN list, and wait for it to connect.
c. Tap the Revo Scan icon on your phone and confirm the scanner is connected.
d. Connect the Handheld Stabilizer to the Revo Scan. When it’s connected
successfully, the Bluetooth LED will turn in solid blue. (Make sure the
Bluetooth on your phone is On.)

Charging the Handheld Stabilizer
1. Connect the Type-A end of the USB cable to an adapter, then plug it into a
power socket. 2. Plug the Type-C end of the USB cable into the Handheld
Stabilizer’s Type-C port.
3. The Handheld Stabilizer is fully charged when the battery indicator turns
solid white.
