LIMINK SP12 Portable Triple Monitor
Section 1: Safety Information
- When installing on a laptop, please first open the screens on both sides, then open the clips on the back panel, and finally open the screens on both sides to install on the laptop.
- Do not close your laptop monitor without removing the 3-IN-L monitor, or it may damage your monitor and your laptop.
- Do not use the triple monitor while the laptop is placed on another laptop stand, or the triple monitor may fall by gravity.
- Always make sure your monitor is placed on a secure, level surface to prevent it from falling and sustaining damage.
- Before cleaning, always unplug your monitor. It is recommended that you use a damp cloth or lightly damp cloth to clean your monitor.
- Dry cloth is the safest. if using a damp cloth, please wait for your monitor to completely dry before plugging it in again.
- Do not use alcohol or ammonia-based cleaner and/or liquids to clean your monitor.
- Avoid placing this monitor near any heating sources, eg, portable heaters or heating vents as this may cause damage to your monitor.
- You may find slightly uneven brightness on the screen depending on the desktop pattern you use, this is a normal situation.
- When the same image is displayed for a few hours, an afterimage of the previous screen may remain after switching the image. The screen will recover slowly or you can power it off for hours.
- Unplug the monitor during extended periods of non-use
- Do not place heavy items on the monitor or monitor cables.
- Do not attempt to disassemble or remove parts from the monitor.
- Any disassembly or modification not performed by an authorized technician will be beyond the warranty and can result in damage to the monitor and/or possible exposure to high-voltage electricity, which may lead to serious injury or death.

Ports Description
- USB C full-function port: After connecting to the laptop’s full-function USB C port, it supports image transmission for the left screen and a power supply for both screens.
- MiniHDMI port: After connecting to the laptop HDMI port or the fully functional USB C port of the laptop, it transfers images to the right screen.
- USB C power port: Supports (5V-20V) PD protocol reverse power supply, extending laptop battery life.
Section 4: How to Install
- Place the 3-in-1 monitor on the desktop.
- Open the right screen first, then the left screen.
- Open the clips on the left and right sides of the back panel.
- Lift the 3-in-1 monitor and clip it onto the laptop.
- Choose the appropriate connecting cable based on the laptop port.
- Lower the bracket and adjust the viewing angle.
Section 5: Connect the Monitor to Your Laptop
Compatible laptop size 13.3-16 inches Requirements
- Width of laptop screen: 280-360mm (11-14.lin).
- The thickness of the laptop screen: is <8mm (0.31in).
- Ml &. M2 chip MacBook is not supported, MacBook Air (Ml 2020),(M2 2022), MacBook Pro 13″(M1 2020), (M2 2022); Chromebook laptops are not supported.
Choose Connecting Cables
To determine which cables you will use, first identify your laptop’s ports according to the figure below or your laptop’s user manual. Make sure your USB-C port on the laptop is functioning. Please refer to your laptop’s user manual.
Connection Methods
A laptop equipped with 2 fully functional USB C ports (Thunderbolt 3/4 ports)
Uses a USB C to USB C cable to connect the first full-function USB C port of
the laptop to the full-function C port of the 3-in-1 monitor and use a USB C
to mini HDMI cable to connect the second full function USB C port of the
laptop to the mini HDMI port of the 3-in-1 monitor.
Note
Make sure that the laptop USB-C ports support power &. video, and has
enough power supply above 5V/2A.
Laptops equipped with 1 fully functional USB-C port and 1 HDMI port
Use a USB C cable to connect the first full-function USB C port of the laptop
to the full-function C port of the 3-in-1 monitor, and use an HDMI to mini
HDMI cable to connect the HDMI port of the laptop to the mini HDMI port of the
3-in-1 monitor.
Reverse charging
Connect the USB C power port with a power adapter to reverse charge the laptop
and extend battery life.
Section 6: Laptop Display Configuration(Screen order, scale)
WINDOWS
- Identify the Screen/set Display DirectionClick and drag the screens to the configuration shown.
- Start Duplication/Extension Setting you need to set different display modes on the triple monitor, please click l/2/3(click the “identify” Button down the screen to find the corresponding screen).
- Drag and arrange the order of the screen according to your usage habits. (Regular sorting is 3-1-2)
- Start Scaled Ratio Setting
- Select one of them, and then enter into the ”Multiple displays” menu to set.
- Please click 1/2/3 screen to increase the zoom, click the dropdown of “Change the size of text, apps, and other items” and select “125%, 150%, or 175%” or another value.
MAC OS
- Identify the Screen/Display Direction Setting
- Open the “System Preferences Select Display” from the menu. Click and drag the pages( Fig.3). Click “Display Settings” (Fig.2) to the configuration shown.
- Start Duplication/Extension Setting
- Click the monitor name to set Mirror or Extended display (Fig. 2).
Rotation Setting
If any of the screens are upside down, click the display menu on that
screen and select “180°” from the dropdown.
Scaled ratio Setting
To increase the zoom, click the “Scaled Ratio” Button.
Section 7: FAQ
One of the SP12 monitors shows does not lit up ( black or blue screen)
Due to the insufficient voltage of some Laptops (5V/2A or above is required), one screen may not work normally. You can try to use the attached adapter to power the screen
It may be due to the inability of the USB-C port to support video and signal transmission. Please confirm if the USB-C port is a fully functional USB-C version.
It may be due to damage to the USB-C cable or miniHDMI cable. Please contact us for assistance in handling it.The following laptops do not support our monitor, laps with Ml8.M2 chip;Chrome book Series, If you're not sure where your laptop is suitable for the monitors after reading our manual, pis contact us for help.
If you use 2 USB-C cables to connect, please ensure that the USB-C cable can support image signal transmission and power supply;If you connect using USB-C and HDMI cables, please check if the HDMI cable can transmit image signals normally;After checking that there are no issues with the port, please confirm if there is any cable damage;After ruling out the above situations, please use an additional power adapter to connect under normal connection conditions to rule out the situation of insufficient power supply.
Why does it not only support the use of docking station connections?
LIMINK has specially designed and developed a chip for SP12. In order to achieve the most perfect compatibility and smoothness, the connection channel between the chip and the external expansion dock has been closed, so it cannot be compatible with the expansion dock on the market.
Can LIMINK monitor support Ml&. M2 series chips?
Laptop with Ml&.M2 chip is not compatible with our triple monitors. but we support Ml Pro and Ml Max chips.
Why my triple monitors can't stay stable and easy to fall down?
Please check if the snap on the SP12 backplane is opened, if the product is securely clamped onto the laptop if the back bracket is opened and installed on a flat desktop.
The screen image jumps or a ripple pattern appears in the image?
Make sure the wire is properly connected between the monitor and the connected device, Ensure that there are no poor connections between the cable plug or laptop port. Turn off or move nearby electronic devices that may cause electrical interference.
The screen image color does not look right (color block, color cast, etc.).
Check the connecting wires to make sure there are no damaged/bent pins. In the laptop display settings, check if the HDR mode of the extended screen is turned off
Flickering when the screen displays content?
The screen flickers need to give priority to whether the power supply of the laptop is insufficient. Priority is given to power the display with a power adapter, if the power supply is normal and the screen still flickers is recommended to contact LIMINK customer service.
