The LIMINK portable monitor can connect to various devices and is suitable for laptops, smartphones, Switch, PS4, Xbox, and other devices with a Type-C full- function interface or HDMI interface.
5.1 Connect Phone

Connection method: One Type C cable and one Power supply cable
The monitor supports connecting to a smartphone with a standard Type-C cable and outputs the phone screen content or customizes the UI based on system settings. When there is no external power source, the monitor is powered by the phone, and the energy-saving mode is activated.
The display brightness automatically adjusts to 30%, and users can adjust the monitor brightness and volume based on the phone output power. If the display is abnormal after connection due to different power outputs from different phone brands, please use an external power supply.
When an external power source is used, the monitor can charge the phone in reverse (to ensure that both the monitor and the phone can receive sufficient operating current, ordinary models should use a 5V/3A or above PD power supply), the 4K model should use a 9V/3A or above PD power supply, and a higher power PD power supply can achieve rapid charging for the phone.
NOTE: Before connecting your phone, please lower the portable monitor screen brightness to 70 or below. Failure to do so may result in the inability to use the device properly.
5.2 Connect Laptop

Connection method A: One Type C cable
The monitor supports using a standard Type-C cable to connect to a full- function Type-C interface for extended or duplicated display.

Connection method B: One Mini HDMI cable and one Power supper cable The monitor also supports using a standard HDMI cable to connect to a Mini HDMI port for extended or duplicated display (power supply cable required).

Q&A

Q1: Why does my phone keep draining battery even though it shows charging when connected to an external power source?

A: The power output of the external power adapter may not be sufficient. It is recommended to lower the brightness of the display to reduce power consumption or replace the power adapter with a higher wattage.

Q2: My phone has a Type-C interface, but why can't it connect to the monitor screen properly?

A: Before connecting your phone to the monitor screen, please lower the screen brightness to below 70% and make sure the power cable is connected.

Q3: Why can't the monitor screen show properly when connected to my computer?

A: Please confirm whether the monitor interface port is a fully functional Type-C port. If not, please use a mini HDMI cable and a power cable to connect to the monitor.

Q4: When I rotate my phone to portrait mode in screen mirroring, my video becomes stretched. What should I do?

A: Open the menu, rotate the phone back to portrait mode, and select the icon for maintaining aspect ratio.

Q5: Why does the screen flash when the phone is used as a single-line terminal (without being connected to a power source)?

A: The output power of the phone is very limited and cannot support the full load of the monitor. To solve this issue, you can lower the brightness or connect a power adapter.

Q6: When connecting a laptop PC to a rotating display, only a small central area is displayed.

A: To fix this, you need to change the display mode to either extend or display only on the second screen. Right-click on the desktop and select either screen resolution or display settings. Choose the extend or display only on second screen mode.
