Installation Questions
Hard wire Kit Questions
Q1:Why you need a hardwire kit (not included in the package)?
A1: Realize 24-hour parking monitoring function. The car battery voltage is generally 12-24V, and the dash cam is generally 5v, which cannot be directly connected, so a hardwire kit is required to power the dash cam.
If you need a hard wire kit, you can reach us to get it, we recommend you use a hard wire kit with three wires (red, yellow, and black), instead of a hard wire kit with two wires(only red and black wires).
Hardwire Kit for Dash Camera
Q2: How to confirm that the hard wire kit connection is successful?
A2: After the Dashcam is connected to the hardwire kit, it will still be turned off after the car is turned off. However, it has entered the parking monitoring mode, which means it will start recording and lock the video immediately after detecting a collision. (please remember to turn on the parking monitoring function in the menu before turning off your car)
- You can try to turn off the car, and then press the power button at the bottom of the screen to see if the screen lights up. If the screen lights up, which means the connection is correct, and the words “Parking Monitor” will display.
- You can also try to slap the window hard or shake the dash cam after turning off the car to see if the dash cam screen lights up and starts recording, if so, it also means the connection is correct.
If the problem exists , please reach us directly. We will try our best to help you.
Q3: How to connect the hardwire kit.
A3: Please connect the yellow wire to BATT/B+ and the red wire to ACC.
The black cable is connected to GND.
Q4: How to properly find BATT, ACC/Why battery still drains after connecting to hardwired kit.
- No matter whether the car is on or off, the BATT is always charged, and the ACC is only charged when the car is on. You can use a voltage test pen to check accordingly. If you are still not sure, please provide us your fuse box drawing and we will let our technical department help you find it.
- Connecting the yellow and red cables to the BATT at the same time will drain the battery.
- Make sure the engine is off before connecting the hard wire kit A
- Then disconnect the negative terminal of the warning battery to prevent a short circuit.

Other Questions
Q1: Why does the dash cam keep beeping?
A1: It may be caused by the G-sensor. There will be a voice prompt when
the video is locked. You can avoid it by setting “G-Sensor ” to low or medium
in the settings.
Q2: Why is the video often locked?
A2 : This may be because the “G sensor” in the settings is set to “High”.
We recommend setting it to “Medium/Low” as the G-sensor is a feature that
locks video in the event of a crash, helping you save necessary video and
avoid being overwritten.
Q3: Why is the dash cam draining the car battery?
A3: It depends on two situations
- If you attached the hardwire kit, it may be caused by both the yellow and red cables being connected to the BATT. You can try reconnecting the red cable to the ACC.
- If you are using a car charger, please check whether your cigar port is BATT. (After the car is turned off, use the data cable to charge the mobile phone at the cigar port to check if there is any electricity, if there is, it is BATT). If it is BATT, when the car is turned off, because the dash cam is still charging, the car battery will be drained. You can avoid this by unplugging the car charger after driving or by using our hardwire kit.
