Dash Cam Installation

Insert Micro SD card

Notice:

• After inserting the SD card into the WiFi dash cam, please format the Micro SD card in the dash cam-JarvisCam APP (please keep the dash cam turned on and connected to the WiFi dash cam).
• The dash cam supports up to 256GB SD card. A reliable U3 or higher Micro SD card is recommended, such as SanDisk or Samsung brands.
• For the better operation of the dash cam, Please format the SD card once a month. Pay attention to format the SD card and download and save important videos on the computer or mobile phone in advance.

Remove Micro SD card

When you push the micro SD card with your fingernail, the card comes out of the slot.

Notice:

• Do not remove or insert a micro SD card while charging the dash cam, it may damage the micro SD card and data.
• Be careful when removing the micro SD card, as the card may pop out and be lost. Because the memory card slot has a spring, it is easy to move the card.

Installation of dash cam

Please determine the specific installation position of the 3M glue clip, tear off the sticker and stick it firmly on the front windshield.

• a: Attach the Electrostatic stickers to the windshield.
  

• b: Remove the protective file from the Electrostatic stickers.
  

• c: Tear off the 3M adhesive protective film on the dash cam and attach the dash cam to the Electrostatic stickers.
  

Connection of power supply

Please connect the original car charger adapter to the cigar lighter to charge the dash cam.

The parking monitoring function can be achieved with a dedicated Type-C USB hardwire kit (not included).

Dash Cam Function Button

1. Automatic on/off:
   Once the car is started, the device will automatically turn on. Once the car is turned off, the device will automatically save the record and turn off the power within 15 seconds.

2. Press 7 second: locked video
   Press 3 seconds: Reset dash cam

APP Installation

We recommend that you take the following actions to connect WiFi:

1. Scan the following QR code and download the dedicated app “JarvisCam” from Google play store or apple store.

2. Open the mobile phone WiFi settings, turn off cellular data and bluetooth, connect to the machine WiFi (GKU_D200_XXXXX) and enter the password 12345678.
3. After the WiFi connection is stable, open the Jarvis Cam app and add a new camera bywifi connection.

Camera Settings

Function description

1. Loop recording
   Please set loop recording function in the dedicated application, options: 1 Minute, 2 Minute, 3 Minute, Cancel.
   This function supports overwriting the earliest video to ensure that the micro SD card has enough space, but it cannot overwrite the locked video, so you still need to check and clean the recorded files regularly.

2. G-sensor
   When the vehicle vibrates due to impact, dash cam automatically starts the video recording operation and locks the video.

3. Parking mode (Hardwire kit Required)
   When the dash cam is connected to the hardwire kit, the 24h parking monitoring function can be realized”
   When the dash cam detects an impact, it will automatically starts the video recording operation and locks the video.

4. Time-lapse (Hardwire kit Required)
   When the dash cam is connected to the hardwire kit, the Time-lapse function can be realized.
   It can ensure the integrity of recorded content, save memory space, and help dash cam achieve 24h monitoring function.

5. Video recording
   When you put the Micro SD card, it enters the recording mode automatically.

6. WiFi
   Dedicated app is available after downloading and connecting WiFi.

7. File selection
   Download a dedicated app, click the file icon, and view the recorded photos and video.

8. Format micro SD card
   If you format the micro SD card, please remember to save important videos on your mobile phone or computer in advance, because the saved data will be cleared.
