About The Exway R3 Remote
About The Exway R3 Remote
We took the ergonomic and intuitive-to-use shape of our standard remote and
gave it a makeover – on the inside. More powerful hardware and advanced
firmware bring new features like route tracking, OTA and offline firmware updates,
Bluetooth 5.0, while keeping all the functionality of the old remote.
All new hardware
Powering the R3 is our new MCU 3.0 chip, designed to interface with the new
ESC 3.0 controller and ExSkate app. Boards with the older ESC 2.0 (X1 Max,
Flex ER, Wave, Atlas Carbon, and earlier generations) are not compatible.
Redesigned UI
We’ve optimized the home screen layout with more real-time information.
Everything you need to know now takes a quick glance, without using a mobile
app.
Getting to Know the R3
The R3 remote ships with beginner mode, which limits the remote to basic ride functions. You’ll be able to access the full functionality after riding 6mi (10km) with it.
