Safety Precautions (Be sure to follow}

• Before installation, please confirm whether the mirror dash cam has missing accessories or damage and whether the function can be used normally. You can reach us at any time and we will deal with it immediately.
• Please use the original accessories provided in the dash cam package to prevent compatibility issues.
• Please charge the rearview mirror dash cam for 7 hour before using it to ensure that there is enough power to support the regular use of the machine.
• If the screen freezes and the power cannot be turned off even after unplugging, you can change another Micro SD card to try.
• The reset hole is on the back of the machine, you can reset this mirror dash cam by pressing it with a card pin or something similar.
• Please format the Micro SD card regularly to prevent the locked video from taking up too much capacity and affecting the normal use of the backup dash camera.
• The extension cable provided for the rearview mirror dash camera is 20 feet long and fits most car models.
• We recommend using a 64-256GB Micro SD card, Class 7 0 Micro SD Card, U3 speed or above, before using a Micro SD card, please format the card to exFAT or fat32 format on your computer. (Micro SD card is not included in the package).

Installation

Installation of Front Camera

Step 1: Insert the micro SD card into the dedicated slot.

1. Micro SD Card U3 or above is Highly Recommended for Ml 2 PRO mirror dash cam.
2. Please format the SD card in the camera before using this mirror dash cam.

Step 2 : Fix the machine to the rear view mirror with the strap.

Step 3: Fix with straps behind the front camera.

1. Be careful notto block the field of view of the front camera lens.
2. Make sure that the strap can hold the camera and rear view mirror firmly

Step 4: Connect the car charger to the car cigarette lighter port, then connect the USB connector to the USB power input of the mirror dash cam .

Step 5: Adjusting the view angle of the front camera .

1. The front camera lens can be rotated up and down, left and right, please manually adjust to a suitable position.
2. Please peel off the protective films on the camera lens to obtain the best view.

Step 6: Connect the rear camera and the extension cable to the dash cam to check whether the rear camera works well.

Step 7: Connect the GPS module to the dash cam, and attach it on the A-Pillar.

Step 8 : To hide the cables, please refer to the following instructions.

Installation of rear camera

Position 1:
Install the rear camera on the rear windshield. Position 7 is designed for live stream rear review only, not for reversing guide. This kind of installation is easier.

Position 2:
Install the rear camera nearby the license plate. The rear image position 2 is sharp for live stream rear view and reversing guide. This kind of installation is highly recom­mended.

For the reversing guide feature, install the rear camera in position 2, then connect the red trigger cable of rear camera extension cable to the positive lead of the car reversing lamp.

Function Introduction

• To interrupt recording, briefly tap 0. Then the red light will disappear.
• When start recording, if display shows ‘O:OO:OO’, it means the sd card is full, locked file will not be deleted in loop mode, you need to format manually in the menu.

Adjust the View Angle
Slide up or down on the left side of screen to adjust the view angle.

Audio
The Dash Cam allows the recorded videos with sound or no sound. Tap,£, to turn on/off audio recording.

Play Recorded Video
Tap to play the recorded videos/locked videos/photos on the screen.

Lock the Current Video
If you would like to save the recording(to lock it). Tap on the screen to lock the current video. Otherwise the recordings will be deleted in the loop recording process. The locked video will be saved in a separate file folder.

The video will last about 20s.

Switch Front and Rear Camera
Tap the screen switch icon to switch between the front and rear cameras.

6. Set Up

Back
Back to the video interface.

Resolution
Tap to shift the resolution to 4K/2K/FHD.

Video segmentation{Loop Recording)
Select the duration of video recording.

Loop Lock File
Enabling this feature will automatically overwrite locked files.(Note: Please save important files from your dash cam regularly on your phone or computer.)

HDR
Tap to turn ON/OFF HOR.

Speaker Volume
• Adjust the volume in the playback video.
• Mute low, Middle and High can be selected.

G-Sensor Back to the video interface.
• Built-in G-Sensor will detect collision and lock the footage which will never be covered by new files.
• Tap to set G-sensor sensitivity from off/Low/Middle /High.

The video will be stored as a file based on the interval you set in the loop recording. When driving, if the road is bumpy, please adjust it to low or turn off it directly to prevent the camera doesn’t work because of the memory card is full.
When parking, recommend to adjust it to medium.

Smart Voice
This is a voice control command. Please follow the instructions displayed on the screen to control the device.

Screen Saver
Tap to turn off or set 7 min/3min/5min.

Date/Time
Time setup is to set the time that display on the status bar of the screen.

Time zone
GMT is Universal Standard Time. For the US and Canada, select “-5”.

Daylight Saving Time
When turned on, the local time is displayed one hour ahead, but the actual amount of change is determined by the DST change value described by the time zone.

Rear Screen Flip
When this function is turned on, the screen will show a mirror image of the rear camera.

Language
English/ Chinese/ Japanese are available.

WiFi
Tap to tum ON/OFF the WiFi.

Frequency
50Hz and 60Hz can be selected In Americas and parts of Asia it is typically60Hz. Other parts of the world is usually S0Hz.

Parking Monitoring (Hardwire kit Required)
Tap to select from ON and lime-Lapse.
ON: The camera will be turned on automatically and start recording 20s urgent video, if there is a hit of the car during parking. The video will be saved in the list of urgent video.

Speed Unit
Change the speed display unit to KM/H or MPH.

GPSlnfo
You can check information about GPS on the computer.

Format
Format the micro SD card.

Default Setting
Restore factory default settings.

Check Dash Cam Files on Computer
Check the dash cam files on the computer by using a USB card reader.
You can download dash cam files, format SD cards, update firmware, etc.

1. The file name ending with ‘M’ is the front camera.
2. The file name ending with ‘5’ is the rear camera.
3. If you want to check GPS driving information, please use dedicated GPS playback software. Please contact us for the dedicated software download address: [email protected]

About YUTUCAM APP

We recommend that you take the following actions to connect Wi Fl:

1. Open the menu of mirror dash cam, find the WiFi option and turn it on.
2. Open the mobile phone WiFi settings, turn off cellular data and Bluetooth, connect to the dash cam WiFi (GKU-XXXXXXX) and enter the password 12345678.
3. After the WiFi connection is stable, open the YUTUCAM app and add a new camera by WiFI connection.
4. There is a detailed operation video on how to connect to WiFi on our product details page, which can be a reference.

Dash cam turns on and off repeatedly/cannot turn on?
A 1:

1. The accessories are not suitable.
   Please use the original accessories, the working current of our machine is 5V/3A, and notthe original accessories may cause incompatibility

2. Insufficient power supply causes the machine to restart back and forth.
   You can charge the Ml 2 Pro mirror dash cam for 1 hour, then turn it on again.

3. SD card is not compatible.
   Try another card. We recommend using a 64 GB SD card, U3 or Cl O or higher, before using an SD card, please format the ca rd to exFAT or f at32 format on your computer.

4. Unknown reason.
   If the problem persists, please try to restart the machine by pressing the reset hole. The reset hole is on the back of the device.

Q2: The dash cam screen freezes.
A: Please use the original accessories, and change to another Micro SD card(64 GB SD card, U3 or Cl 0 or higher, before using an SD card, please format the card to exFAT or fat32 format on your computer.
If the problem persists, please reach us and provide us with the dash cam version number, and we can send the corresponding firmware to solve it.
By clicking the “version” in the menu, you can see the machine version number on the screen.
And could you please take a video? which is really helpful, so we can analyze the problem more accurately and propose a solution through the video.

Q3: The SD card cannot be formatted or the dash cam cannot record
A3: An error may have occurred.
Please Format the SD card on the computer. Or change another SD card, we recommend using a 64GB SD card, U3 or Cl 0 or higher, before using a Micro SD card, please format the card to exFAT or fat32 format on your computer.

Q4: Emergency recordings occur frequently
A4: The G-sensor sensitivity setting may not be appropriate. Please change the “G-sensor” setting in the menu.

Q5: Unable to receive GPS.
A5: GPS signal may not be received between tunnels or buildings. And It may be difficult to receive a GPS signal immediately after powering on, please check again later.
If the problem persists, please contact us for further assistance.

Q6: How to get a GPS player link, or hardwire kit?
A6: After the mirror dash cam is connected to GPS, you can read the GPS file in the SD card through the card reader or computer to view the driving track and speed.
After decompressing the GPS firmware, you can check the driving track and speed by running the GPS player on the computer.

Q7: How to realize 24h parking monitoring function and get Hardwire kit?
A7: The parking monitoring function requires a hardwire kit, which is not included in the package. And other dash cams on the market are also not included hardwire kits in their box.
