Laminator Operating Modes
The laminator can process all cold and hot laminating pouches in the thicknesses 75 μ, 80 μ and 125 μ.
Hot Laminating
When “hot laminating” mode is active, the laminating pouch is heated to a
temperature approx.. 120 °C to 150 °C as it passes through the laminator
rollers. This creates a permanent thermal bonding of the laminated material
and the laminating pouch. Hot laminatio permanent events the laminated
material from coming into contact with water, oxygen and bacteria.
Cold Laminating
When “cold laminating” mode is active, the laminating pouch is heated to a
temperature of approx. 25 °C. The laminating pouches are coated with a special
adhesive. The sides of the laminating pouches are pressed together during the
laminating process.
A detachable bond is produced and the material can be removed if necessary
without aamage.
