SAFETY INFORMATION
WARNING
- Read and save these instructions. Do not operate fan unless you have read these instructions.
- Unplug the fan before moving it or performing maintenance. Do not touch the fan when your hands are wet.
- Those who are not qualified electricians should not disassemble, repair or rebuild the fan.
- Unplug the fan when it is not in use.
- DO NOT unplug the fan by pulling the cable cord. Unplug by holding the plug and pulling.
- DO NOT use the fan when there is damage to the cable cord or plug. If the supply cord is damaged, it has to be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons.
- DO NOT use the fan with extension cord.
- DO NOT use the fan close to fires.
- DO NOT insert your hand or other objects into the grille or the movable parts.
- To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not use this fan with any solid-state speed control device.
- DO NOT use this fan outdoors, this fan is designed for indoor use only.
CAUTION
- Unplug the fan from the socket and clean it with a soft cloth.
- DO NOT immerse the fan.
- Fit the guard onto fan before starting up the fan.
- This fan is not intended for use by people (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the fan by a person responsible for their safety. Supervise children to ensure they do not play with the fan.
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTION
FAN CRADLE ASSEMBLY
Simple assembly is required to use this fan.
- Insert one cradle base to the other one by overlapping the screw holes A and B on the two cradle bases, see Fig.1&2.
- lnsert the screw with washers and hex nut through the holes A and B in the sequence of screw, washer, cradle base, washer then hex nut, see Fig.3.
- Tight up the hex nut and shake the two bases to check if the bases are assembling tight enough.
- Loosen the screw knobs on the two sides of the fan head.
- Overlap the screw hole inside the fan shells, the rubber ring, and the hole of the cradle base then insert back the screw knob and tight up, see Fig.4.
- Repeat step 5 for opposite side of fan.
WALL MOUNTED ASSEMBLY
When you want to use the fan as wall mounted fan, you should assemble as
following steps.
- Confirm the wall fan height as you need, then mark down the position the mounting bracket would be located, see Fig.1.
- Drill the three holes on the wall. Holes dimension should be 5/16 inch diameter and 1-3/4inch depth.
- Insert the plastic anchors into the holes, see Fig. 2.
- Overlap the three holes on the mounting bracket with the holes onto the wall, and then insert the screws E into the holes, and tight them up, see Fig. 3.
- Overlap the hole C on the cradle base with the bigger hole D on the mounting bracket and then insert the screw knob and tight it up, see Fig. 4.
TO ADJUST AIRFLOW UPWARD OR DOWNWARD
Loosen the SCREW KNOB. Tilt motor to the desired angle then firmly tignten the
position knob.
OPERATION INSTRUCTION
- Place the fan on a safe, flat surface where it cannot fall or be pulled by the cord,and in the upright position.
- Select desired direction of air flow by tilting the fan grill or downward.
- Plug unit into electrical outlet.
- Select preferred speed(1-Low, 2-Med, 3-High) by rotating the switch on the back of the unit.
- Always turns off (0-Off) and unplug fan after using.
NOTE: DO NOT operate the fan without the grill in place, if it has malfunctioned or been damaged in any way.
SERVICING INSTRUCTION
- Unplug the fan by gripping the plug directly.
- Open fuse cover.
- Select a suitable tool, small flat scewdriver or similar tool, and insert the tip of the tool into the gap of the plug face.
- Press the tool down, then pry the protection door of the fuse out until the fuse out until the fuse is fully accessible.
- Carefully remove the fuse.
- To avoid risk of fire, make sure replacement fuse is a 5 Amp 125V Fuse.
- Place the new fuse in the slot and carefully press down by pushing gently on the copper caps on either side. Be careful not to push too hard to avoid damage to the fuse.
- Close fuse cover. Push the protection door back into place. If the door will not go back into original place, ensure that the fuse is properly situated. Be careful not to force the door as this could damage the fuse or the door.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
- Unplug the appliance before cleaning.
- Do NOT use water directly on the fan for cleaning metal surfaces. Never immerse the fan or any wires in water.
- Slightly moisten a cloth and then wipe off the surface of the fan. In order to remove the dust from the grill, use a vacuum cleaner or remove the front grill by removing the securing screw on the edge of the grill with a screwdriver.
- After cleaning, remount the grill and fasten the securing screw on the edge of the grill.
