- Mode/Standby Button (Dock) – Press repeatedly to toggle between TV Mode and Aux In Mode, press and hold to enter Standby Mode, the LED Indicator light of the dock will flash slowly and the speaker sound will be muted. You can press and hold this button again to resume Speaker sound.
- Pair/Unpair button – For manually pairing the Speaker with the Dock or disconnecting the Speaker with the Dock.
Charging your Speaker
There are two methods for charging the TV Speaker.
Method 1. Connecting to an AC Power source
- Step 1. Connect the included power adapter to the USB end of the included Micro USB cable.
- Step 2. Plug the Micro USB end of the connected AC power cable to the Speaker Micro USB Charging port, or to the Dock Power Input Port and place the TV Speaker onto the Dock with the two metal pins aligned.
- Step 3. Plug the other end of the power cable to an AC power source to begin charging.
Method 2. Connecting to a USB power source
- Step1. Connect one end of the included Micro USB Cable to the Speaker Mirco USB Charging Port, or to the Dock Power Input Port (5V, Micro USB Port) and place the TV Speaker onto the Dock.
- Step 2. Connect the other end of the cable to a USB power source to begin charging.
Note: Some TVs come with USB power output port, you can also direct-ly plug the USB end of the included Micro USB cable into the TV’s USB port to charge the speaker. Make sure your TV’s USB power output is 5V/1A so that it can power the dock on, refer to your TV’s user manual.

Powering On/Off
- Power the Speaker on/off
- To power on the Speaker, turn the Power/Volume button clockwise until you hear a click.
- To power off the Speaker, turn the Power/Volume button counter clockwise until you hear a click.
- Power the Dock on/off
- To power on the dock, connect the supplied charging cable to the DC 5V Power Jack of the Dock and to an power source. If the Dock is powered on, the Dock LED Indicator will light up.
- To power off the Dock, disconnect the charging cable from the power source.
- To set the Dock to Standby Mode, press and hold the Mode/Standby Button on the Dock until the Dock LED Indicator slowly flashes.
Pairing your Speaker and the Dock
When the Speaker and Dock are both powered on, they will pair together automatically. If they are successfully paired, you will hear the sound for the audio playback from the TV speaker while you connect the dock to an audio source.
Connections
There are four methods available for connecting the TV speaker, you can use any of the connection methods listed down to connect the TV speaker to your desired audio source.
Connect to the Optical port of the Dock through an optical cable
- Step 1. Pull out and remove the rubber protector nubs on both ends of the supplied Optical Cable.
- Step 2. Connect the included Optical Cable to the Optical Port of the Dock and to your TV’s Optical Port.
- Step 3. Press the MODE Button on both the Speaker and Dock to sel ect TV Mode, the TV LED Indicator on both the Speaker and Dock will turn orange.
- Step 4. Make sure the audio settings on your connected TV are set to PCM or Optical audio format. Note: If your TV has the sound settings set to Dolby or another format, your Speaker may not function properly. You must change
the sound output to PCM or Optical audio. Refer to your TV’s user manual.
Connect to the Line In port of the Dock through an AUX cable or AUX+ RCA cable
- Step 1. Connect one end of the included AUX Cable to the Line In (AUX In) port of the Dock and to the Headphone Output or AUX Out port of your device (Like your TV, DVD player, smart phone, laptop etc.).
If your TV or DVD player has RCA Audio Out ports, you can use the included RCA cable (Red colored connector for right audio channel, white colored connector for left audio channel) to connect with the AUX cable, as shown in the following figure below.
Step 2. Press the Mode Button repeatedly on the Dock to select Line In Mode and on the speaker to select TV Mode, the Line In LED Indicator on the Dock will turn green, the TV LED indicator on the speaker will turn orange.
Step 3. Make sure the audio settings on your connected TV are set to PCM or Optical audio format.
Connect to the Line In port of the Speaker through an AUX cable or AUX+ RCA cable
Step 1. Connect one end of the included AUX Cable to the Line In (AUX In) Port of the Speaker and to the Headphone Output or AUX Out port of your device (Like your TV, DVD player, smart phone, laptop etc.).
If your TV or DVD player has RCA Audio Out ports, you can use the included RCA cable (Red colored connector for right audio channel port, white colored connector for left audio channel port) to connect with the AUX cable, as shown in the following figure below.
Step 2. Press the Mode Button repeatedly on the Speaker to select Line In Mode, the Line In LED Indicator on the Speaker will turn green.
Note: When an AUX cable is connected, it will automatically unpair from any actively paired Bluetooth® device.
Bluetooth connection with your device
Step 1. Press the Mode Button on the Speaker to select and enter Bluetooth Mode, the Bluetooth LED Indicator on the Speaker will rapidly flash blue.
Step 2. Turn on Bluetooth in your device’s settings and search for “CSTV-130”, then tap “CSTV-130” to connect.
If the Speaker is successfully paired with your media device, the Blue-tooth LED Indicator on the Speaker will glow solid blue, and you will hear a tone notification.
Notes
- If there is no operation for more than 15 minutes after you select Bluetooth mode, the TV speaker will automatically enter Standby mode, then the Bluetooth LED Indicator light will be off, and the Mute LED indicator will glow red. To enter Bluetooth mode, you need press the Mode button again to select it.
- The Speaker will automatically be paired with your last successfully connected media device next time they are both turned on.
Audio playback
Once your Speaker is connected to an audio device using any of the connection
modes listed above, music and other audio will be play-able and controlled
through that device. There are some controls that can be performed on the
Speaker itself.
To raise or lower the volume of the Speaker, turn the Power/Volume Knob
clockwise or counter clockwise.
To mute or resume your music sound, press the Mute Button once.
- During audio playback, please do not press and hold the Mute button for more than 2 seconds, otherwise the speaker will unpair with the dock.
- The Speaker can be used to play audio both on its own and while connected to the Dock (Please note that the distance between the speaker and dock should be within 100 feet.).
Listening music with your headphones
Connect wired headphones or earbuds to the Headphone Output Jack on the
Speaker. You can use the Speaker’s Volume Knob and Mute Button here as well.
Troubleshooting
Problem | Solution |
---|
Bluetooth mode is not working.
| 1. On your phone’s Bluetooth set- tings, tap Forget the device to clear the Speaker’s Bluetooth connection from your device.
2. Turn your phone’s Bluetooth off, then turn it on again.
3. Ensure your Speaker is set to Blue- tooth mode, search for “CSTV-130”, then tap “CSTV-130” to reconnect.
The Speaker will not pair with the Dock automat- ically.
| Step 1: Turn on the speaker, press the MODE button on the Speaker to select TV Mode, then press and hold the Mute button for 2-3 seconds.
Step 2: Connect the dock to the power source, make sure that your dock is connected to the TV with an optical cable (then switch the dock to TV mode), or is connected to your audio device with an AUX
cable (then switch the dock to Line In mode), and use a metal pin to press the PAIR button to repair the Speaker and the Dock.
Audio from the Speaker sounds distorted.| Select PCM 2.0 (or PCM stereo) as
the audio output.
The Speaker is not re- sponsive to any input.| Check if the Speaker’s battery
is dead, and charge it if so.

- Ideal temperatures are 0°C to 35°C. Avoid extreme temperatures.

- The Power Adapter is used as the disconnect device for the dock. Ensure that the socket outlet is easily accessible after installation.
- Hands must be dry when plugging the power cord into an AC outlet to prevent electrical shock. Do not damage the power cord by disassembling, bending, pulling or exposing it to heat as it may cause a fire or electrical shock.
- Make sure to completely insert the power plug into an AC outlet. Insecure connections can cause a fire.
- Do not use any corrosive cleaner/oil to clean.
- To prevent damage to your device’s parts or internal circuits, do not use it in dusty, smoky, damp or dirty environments.
- Do not use, store or transport the device where flammables or explo-sives are stored. Using your device in these environments increases the risk of explosion or fire.

WARRANTY SUMMIT ELECTRONICS LLC LIMITED WARRANTY (“Warranty”) – For product
Categories Listed in Chart Below (as ap-plicable, “Product”) Before returning
your Product for service under this Warranty, please (i) read the instruction
manual carefully. If you are still having trouble with your Product, please

Warning: Some Products may contain components that are small enough to be swallowed. Please keep out of reach of children. Subject to the terms and conditions herein, SUMMIT ELECTRONICS LLC (hereinafter called “SUMMIT ELECTRONICS LLC”) warrants to the original purchaser of the Product (“Customer”) that for the ap-plicable Warranty Period listed below, the Product will be free from defects in material or workmanship under normal, non-commercial use (“Defects”).
Warranty Period encompasses, as listed below, separate “Coverage Periods” for Parts and Labor, each Coverage Period for one year, to be-gin from the original date of Customer purchase. If Customer returns a defective Product (or any component thereof) during the applica-ble Warranty Period, SUMMITELECTRONICSLLC will, at its option, during the specified Coverage Periods for Parts and Labor (as appli-cable) either: (i) repair the Product (or, as applicable, any component thereof) or (ii) replace the Product (or, as applicable, any compo-nent thereof) with a new or refurbished Product (or, as applicable, any component thereof), in either case free of charge to Customer for Parts and/ or Labor (as applicable) during the specified Coverage Period only, and excluding applicable shipping charges (noted below), for which the Customer is responsible. The foregoing states the Cus-tomer’s exclusive remedy and SUMMIT ELECTRONICS LLC’s sole lia-bility for breach of the limited warranty contained herein.
This Warranty specifically excludes any Product (or, as applicable, any component thereof) that has been subject to or Defects resulting from: (a) any neglect or misuse by a Customer, an accident, improper application, violation of operating instructions for the product, any other Customer-induced damage, or the alteration or removal of any product serial number: (b) any modification or repair to Product (or, as applicable, any component thereof) by any party other than SUM-MIT ELECTRONICS LLC or a party authorized in writing by SUMMIT ELECTRONICS LLC; (c) any damage to Product (or, as applicable, any component thereof) due to power surges, incorrect electrical voltage, misconnection 17 to any device, or malfunction of any device used with the Product (or, as applicable, any component thereof); (d) cos-metic damage to the Product (or, as applicable, any component there-of) caused by normal wear and tear; (e) shipping damage that occurs while the Product is in transit; (f) damage caused by heat sources, sunlight, electromagnetic conditions, or other climatic conditions; or (g) any acts of God. Product is sold to Customer for personal, non-commercial use only. Product is not warranted for Customer’s commercial or rental use.
In addition, Product is not warranted against failure, and should not be used by Customer for any application where (i) there is a risk that any data stored on Product will be breached or otherwise compro-mised, or (ii) the data stored on Product is relied upon for medical or lifesaving applications. SUMMIT ELECTRONICS LLC disclaims any Warranty for any of the foregoing uses to the fullest extent permit-ted by law. Customer assumes any and all risks associated with such uses of Product and agrees to indemnify SUMMIT ELECTRONICS LLC for any damages claimed against SUMMIT ELECTRONICS LLC for such uses.

This Warranty gives Customer specifics rights, and Customer may also have other rights that vary from jurisdiction to jurisdiction. To obtain Warranty service, Customer must email SUMMIT ELEC-TRONICS LLC Technical Support prior to making a Product return. Customer must include with Product return the following items (fail-ure to enclose any of these items may result in a delay in the process-ing of your Warranty claim): (i) a dated sales receipt that indicates the place of purchase, model number of Product, and amount paid; (ii) a detailed description of Customer’s problem with Product; (iii) Customer’s full name, phone number, and return address, and; (iv) a money order made out to SUMMIT ELECTRONICS LLC Electronics Corporation to cover return shipping charges to US destinations only, for the applicable dollar amount shown for the Product in the table above. SUMMIT ELECTRONICS LLC will not make return shipments to a P.O. Box. For shipping to international addresses, actual freight will be charged to Customer. Return your Product freight-prepaid in its original packaging, or packaging that affords an equal measure of protection. Please allow 4 to 6 weeks for the processing of your claim (6 to 8 weeks from November to February).
