PRECAUTIONS

  1. Electrical appliances with motors generally use inductive load, that means the max working power of those appliances is no more than 600W.
  2. The product s not waterproof.
  3. The product are only suitable for battery of DC12V, not for 6v/24V.
  4. To avoid danger, please do not disassemble or maintain the product if You were not a professional.

PROTECTIVE FUNCTIONS

  1. Low-voltage alarm: The buzer sounds for 2 times, with 1 Hz gap.
  2. Low voltage protection: The buzzer continuously alarms for 3 times, with 1 Hz gap.
  3. Low-voltage recovery: the low-voltage rise automatically restores the output, and the buzzer sounds for 3 times then the alarm will be cancelled.
  4. Overvoltage protection: The buzzer sounds for 3 times, with 1 Hz gap.
  5. Overvoltage recovery: The voltage is reduced automatically to restore the output, and the buzzer sounds for 4 times then the alarm will be cancelled.
  6. Thermal protection: 100° = 10°, under the overheat protection, the buzzer sounds for 1 time, and the inverter stop working.
  7. Overload protection: When the overload power reaches 2.5 times of the rated power, automatic shutdown in 2 seconds, you need to shut off electric current for restart.
  8. Short circuit protection: Output short circuit protection 15 shutdown lock.

PANEL DESCRIPTION

Automotive U391800 Power Inverter - Panel Description

Installation step: Connect one end of the double coll with the positive and negative poles of the inverter, and the other end with the positive and negative poles of the battery through a battery adapter.

  1. Make sure the power switch is off, then turn it on.
  2. Connect the red battery clamp to the positive terminal of the battery and the black battery clamp to the negative terminal, After correct connecting, the USB power indicator wilt light up.
  3. Connect the USE port of the inverter to the cable of the USB device to be used, and then turn onthe power switch of that USS devce.
  4. After use, turn off the power switch of that USB device!then unplug the cable connected! to the USE port of the inverter.
  5. Remove the red clamp from the positive terminal of the battery and black clamp from negative terminal.

POWERED BY CIGARETTE LIGHTER
If the USB port is unavailable, itis recommended to connect to the AC100V adapter of the cigarette lighter for charging.

  1. Connect thestermina (red ) of the ‘accessory plug onto the DC “+” terminal of the inverter, while connect the - terminal ( black ) onto the DC - terminal on back .
  2. Make sure the power switch s of, then turn it on.
  3. Connect the USB portofthe inverte to the Cable of the USB device to be used, and then turn o the power switch of that USB device.

COMMON FAULTS AND SOLUTIONS

  • subject to outside interference
    The inverter may be affected by some strong electromagnetic waves when in use, such as nearby motors, power inverters, strong magnetic ields, etc

  • Inverter indicator does not light
    1. The battery and inverter are not connected and reconnected
    2. The pole of the battery is reversed and the fuse is blown. Please replacethe fuse in time.

  • Low output voltage
    1. Overload, the load current exceeds the nominal current, and some of the 10ad is turned offto restart
    2. The input voltage is too low. Make sure the input voltage is within the nominal voltage range.

  • Low voltage alarm
    1. The batery is out of power and needs o be charged.
    2.The battery voltage is too low or the contact is poor, recharge, check the
    battery terminals or clean the terminals with dry cloth

  • Inverter has no output
    1. The battery voltage is too low, recharge or replace the battery.
    2. The load current is too high, and some of the load is turned off to restart the inverter.
    3. Inverter over temperature protection. Allow the inverter to cool for a while and place it in a well ventilated area
    4. The inverter failed to start and restarted.
    5. The terminal is reversed, the fuse is blown, please replace the fuse in time.

 TIPS OF POWER INVERTER

  • All kinds of electrical appliances are divided into capacitive load, inductive load, heating-type resistive load, general resistive load, and a few special load.
  • Inductive load: motors, compressors , electric drills, refrigerators, washing machines, air conditioners, energy-saving lamps, water pumps, electric tools, stereo equipments (most of above appliances only adapt for inverter of sine wave , electrical damages might be caused by use of inverter of correction wave ), appliances of inductive load can be only started with instantaneous power as high as 3 to 7 times of the rated power, such as a household refriger- ator, rated power 70w, instantaneous power should be 70w * 7 = 490w, you need to choose an inverter of at least 600w for the refrigerator.
  • Capacitive load: LCD TV sets, computers, printers, notebook computers, tablets, digital cameras and teakettles, they adapt for inverter of correction wave. Appliances of capacitive load can be only started with instantaneous power as high as 2 to 3 times of the rated power, such as a TV set, rated power 150w, instantaneous power should be 150w * 2 = 300w, you need to choose an inverter of at least 350w for the TV set.
  • Resistant load: light bulbs, rice cookers, resistors, mobile phones, dash cams, small fans, Bluetooth headsets. The instantaneous power is same as the rated power.
  • a few special loads: disinfection lamps, electric mosquito coil incenses, headlamps, it is recommended to choose the inverter of sine wave, the instan- taneous power of such kind of electrical appliances is as high as 7 times of the rated power.
