1.2 PoE

The Network Camera is PoE-compliant, allowing transmission of power and data via a single Ethernet cable. Such as the following picture: connect the Network Camera to a PoE-enabled router / switch via Ethernet cable.

1.3 Read before Use

Please first verify that all contents received are complete according to the Package Contents listed below. Before the Network Camera is installed, please carefully read and follow the instructions in the Quick Setup Guide to avoid damage due to faulty assembly and installation. This also ensures the product is used properly as intended.

1.5.2 Interface

1. LAN
10/100M adaptive Ethernet interface. Through this interface, IP camera can be connected with various network devices, such as hub, router, etc.

2. Power Interface
Connect the external power adapter, request for 12V / 1A power.

1.6 SD Card Management

This camera supports Micro SD Card.
When you plug in the SD card during the camera work process, please reboot the camera again, or else the SD card might not work well.
On Foscam app go to the Settings→Device Status→Device Status page, you can see the SD card status.

1.7 Add Device: Connection via the Foscam App

Scan the QR code below to download and install the Foscam APP.

1. Loosen the anti-theft screws, and rotate the shell and base in opposite direction until point a and b are aligned to remove the shell.
2. Screw ox001D the micro SD cover and Insert a micro SD into the SD card slot. (If you don’t want to use SD card for storage, skip this step).

3. Install the sticker for positioning in the needed area.

4. Install the base of the device on the surface with proper expansion screws as below.

5. Assemble back the camera and shell, rotate the base and the shell to make point a and b staggered, then fix them by tightening the anti-theft screws.
6. Set the camera to needed viewing angle.

1.9 Waterproof Lid Installation Guide

When mounting your PoE camera outdoors, you are suggested to install the waterproof lid for it. You may follow the steps for installation.

1. Thread the Ethernet cable through the top cover and then the waterproof connector.

2. Put the rubber seal ring around the Ethernet cable between the top cover and the waterproof connector.

A: Ethernet Coble End
B: Rubber Seal Ring

Note: The rubber seal ring provided has been cut. If not, you may manually cut it.
3. Put on the rubber O-ring to the Ethernet port of the camera and plug the Ethernet cable into the Ethernet port.

D: Rubber O-Ring

4. Align the waterproof connector with the Ethernet port, then twist it clockwise to tighten the two parts.

5. Push the rubber seal ring into the waterproof connector, then screw the top cover and lock it into position firmly to finish installation.
