Installation Guide

Procedure:

  1. Install batteries in the RedLINK 3.0 outdoor sensor. Refer to page 2 for battery installation instructions.
  2. Link the RedLINK 3.0 wireless outdoor sensor to the T10+ thermostat. Follow the steps below:
  3. Open the menu on the T10+ thermostat.
  4. Select “Devices & Sensors”.
  5. Select “Add”.
  6. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the linking process.
  7. Mount the outdoor sensor on a vertical exterior wall, at least 6 inches below any overhang. Choose a location protected from direct sunlight. Refer to page 3 for mounting instructions.

Note: If there are multiple T10+ thermostats, each wireless device must be linked separately to each thermostat. A maximum of eight T10+ thermostats can be linked to the C7089R3013 sensor.

  • A: The outdoor sensor requires 2 fresh AA lithium batteries.

Q: How can I delete the outdoor sensor from the T10+ thermostat?

  • A : To delete the outdoor sensor, follow these steps on the T10+ thermostat:
  1. Open the menu.
  2. Choose “Installer options” and enter the passcode.
  3. Select “Devices & Sensors”.
  4. Select “Outdoor Sensor”.
  5. Select “Delete”.
  • After deleting the outdoor sensor, you can add a new one by following the instructions on page 2.

Install batteries in wireless outdoor sensor

  • Make sure batteries are inserted properly. (See polarity marks on the illustration below.)

Link RedLINK 3.0 wireless outdoor sensor to T10+ thermostat

At T10+ thermostat:

  1. Open the menu.
  2. Tap Devices & Sensors.
  3. Tap Add.
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions.

Mount outdoor sensor

  • Mount the sensor on a vertical exterior wall, at least 6 inches below any overhang. Choose a location protected from direct sunlight.

Replacing outdoor sensor

At T10+ thermostat:

  1. Open the menu.
  2. Choose the Installer option and enter the passcode.
  3. Tap Devices & Sensors.
  4. Select Outdoor Sensor.
  5. Select Delete.

After the outdoor sensor has been deleted you can add a new outdoor sensor by selecting “Add” as shown on
