IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING: When using this product, basic precautions should always be followed, including the following:
- Keep your clothing or jewelry away from the product during using.
- Always be aware of the tines, hard or stony soil to avoid injuries.
- Never operate the product while people especially children or pets are nearby.
Intended Use
- Intended for outdoor use only.
- The product must not be used by children or unskilled persons. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
- This product must not be used by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental skills or lack of experience and knowledge.
Electricity Safety
- The plug must match the outlet. Never modify the plug in any way.
- Do not expose the Scarifier to rain or wet conditions.
- Do not abuse the cord, if the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
- It is recommended to only connect the Scarifier to a supply circuit protected by a residual current device (RCD) with a tripping current of not more than 30mA.
- If an extension cord is used outdoors, the plug and socket must be waterproof.
Related to Use
- Operate the product in daylight and in good weather conditions.
- Avoid sudden starting the Scarifier. Ensure the switch is on the OFF position before plugging in.
- Do not operate the Scarifier in explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence of flammable liquids, gases, or dust.
- Ensure that you maintain a firm grip of the handle when operating the scarifier.
- Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and balance at all times.
- Working on slopes is hazardous. Do not work on excessively steep slopes.
- Never pick up or carry the scarifier while it is running.
- Do not force the scarifier. Use the correct tool for your application.
- Do not use the Scarifier if the switch does not turn it on and off.
- Stay alert, watch what you are doing and use common sense when operating the scarifier.

Blade assembly and replacement
Both of replaceable blades, ripper blade and grass blade, Thermax height of
grass for ripper blade’sheightis 4em. The max height of grass for grass
blade’s is 7.5em.
Depth adjustment
Adjust the depth according to the need of your lawn. The most suitable depth
depends on the kind of lawn and the actual height of the grass ATTENTION:
Follow the picture, Depth adjustment of both blades with different
heights.
Start and stop
- Hand the extension cord up on holder,
- Connect Plume with extension cord,
- Keeping pressing hold the safe button
- Pulling the switch lever back and hold with handle,

MAINTENANCE
Maintenance

Disconnect the plug from the power source before making any adjustments, changing accessories, or storing the scarifier.

Check for misalignment or binding of moving parts, breakage of parts, and any other condition that may affect the scarifier operation. Keep all nuts, bolts and screws tight to ensure the scarifier is in safe working condition.
Replace worn or damaged parts for safety; -
If the product or parts are damaged, have the scarifier repaired before use.

Store the scarifier out of reach of children and do not allow persons unfamiliar with the scarifier or these instructions to operate the power tool.
Cleaning
Never Immerse the scarifier In water.
- Clean the scarifier using a dry cloth. Never use strong and/or abrasive cleaning detergents.
- Allow all the parts to dry completely. Ensure that water does not get into the scarifier
- Clean the scarifier housing, safety flap and collection bag immediately after finishing the work.
- Clean the vents on the motor housing and remove and remaining grass or dirt
Storage
- We recommend using the original packaging for storage or covering the product with a suitable cloth or enclosure to protect it against dust
- Always store the product in a place that is inaccessible to children.
- The ideal storage temperature is 10°C- 30C.
- Store the product and its accessories in a dark, dry, frost-free, well-ventilated place.
Transport
- Use the original packaging and secure the scarifier against shock and vibrations during transport.
- Always carry the scarifier using the handle provided for this purpose.

- This product is covered with Swipe Smith product and labor warranty for 12 months from the date of its original purchase.
The warranty will not apply in cases of:
- Accident, misuse, or repairs performed by unauthorized personnel.
- Any unit that has been tampered with or used for commercial purpose.
- Normal wear and tear of wearable parts.
- Use of force, damage caused by external influences.
- Damage caused by non-observance of the User Manual, e.g. connection to an unsuitable mains supply or non-compliance with the instructions.
- Partially or completely dismantled appliances.
- Defects caused by or resulting from damages from shipping or from repairs, service, or alteration to the product or any of its parts that have been performed by a repair person not authorized by SwipeSmith.
