Central Vacuum Deluxe Plus Kit
My unit is blowing instead of sucking air
Piping network installation was reversed. This is how it should be installed:
What does the LED light color mean?
LED ON POWER UNIT | MEANING |

The power cord is not connected to an electrical outlet. | |
The power unit has just been connected. |
Will change to level 2 after a few seconds.
| The system is operational.
| Stop power unit then change bag, if needed. (automatic reminder after 15
hrs). Hold reset button pressed 5s then the light will stop blinking

return to level 2.

Why are the lights changing?
See the board below for details on when and why the LED light would change
color.

Unit won’t stop or start
Option1:
Hose on/off switch
When setting the hose switch to “OFF”, you must wait 3 seconds before the
vacuum shuts down.
If you pressed the “ON/OFF” switch quickly, and time; The vacuum will seem to
always stay on. Set the switch to “OFF” and wait 3 seconds, the unit should
stop.
Option 2:
Hose not properly plugged in
Make sure to properly plug the hose in the inlet. ( See the picture to see
proper plug-in method)
Make sure the black parties well aligned in the middle of the 2 small pins
Option 3:
The pin’s spring could be broken
If the pins, once pushed, do not come up; the spring is probably broken and
could cause the vacuum not to start or stop. In which case the spring must be
fixed.
Option 4:
The ON/OFF switch might be broken
Insert the hose in the inlet and turn it 90 degrees. If vacuum start and then
stop when the hose is removed from the outlet, the switch ned to be changed.
If the unit do not start, proceed to option 5
Option 5
If all of the above work, please proceed to bypass. If the vacuum starts, see
the technician as there is a problem with the cable.

How to bypass unit?
Sometime, the bypass of the unit will be required. Here are the steps to
follow:
Step 1
Use wire or paper clip
Step 2
Insert 1 side of the wire, or paper clip, in the black inlet and the other
olein the red inlet.
Unit should start
Step 3
Remove the wire and wait 3 seconds – Unit should stop.
No power on my vacuum?
Follow the steps below
Step 1
Verify if the LED light is on
If yes: Please proceed to bypass (See bypass procedure on p. 6)
If not: Unplug unit and verify if all the connections are well done ( see
picture)
If not: Change PC board ( See PC board changing document)
Hot air is coming out from the top?
IT’S NORMAL, there is always a gap as space is needed in order for the piping
not to be too tight where the air intake to avoid any damages.

My vacuum it not leveled or looks crooked?
See how it needs to be hanged to avoid this issue.
The hook
must go through the middle of the bracket.
Is the vacuum compatible with existing pipping?
Yes, the vacuums are compatible with certified 2” standard piping systems
F2158.
If not:
A pipe reducer may be required to adjust to different size pipping. Pipe
reducer is available online on Amazon.
I am getting surges when operating the vacuum, what do I do?
Follow steps below to verify system
Step 1
Double check if the system has a dedicated circuit breaker
If yes: Please proceed to circuit breaker reset on the vacuum.
If yes: Verify the type of amperage.
20amps
If yes: Make sure no major appliances are plugged into the same circuit in
the electric panel.
15amps on HF! circuit
If yes: You must change your system to a Gelid circuit, of 15 or 20amp.
If not: please proceed to breaker reset step
Step 2 :
Reset circuit breaker in vacuum
- Unplug vacuum from wall
- Press the “Circuit Breaker” reset button on vacuum.
Step 3
If this still occurs, please proceed to a partial result of the system.

Step 4
If this still occurs, verify the connexons in the motor.

If all previous steps have failed to work, you must change the electronic
module of your vacuum.
