The Movo WMX-7 is a 12-channel VHF wireless microphone system designed to work with smartphones, and tablets. DSLRs, audio recorders, PCs, and more.
The TX transmitter has two mic sockets, allowing you to use two microphones at the same time. This is ideal for interviews, filmmaking, and business presentations, as well as any other applications involving multiple speakers. Lightweight and easy to use, the TX offers flexibility without sacrificing high-quality audio. It can operate at a range of up to 164 feet away without obstacles.

What’s the difference?

LED Indicator and Battery Indication Status

Setup Guide

  1. Install the antenna
    Screw antenna clockwise into jack until secure.
    NOTE – Do not touch the antenna while recording.

  2. Install batteries
    The transmitter is powered by two AA batteries.
    – Push the two catches In the direction of the arrows and open the battery compartment cover.
    – Insert two batteries in the correct polarity as shown.
    – Close the battery compartment cover.

  3. When the low power indicator appears, change the batteries immediately.

  4. When not using the transmitter for a long period of time, remove the batteries to avoid leakage.

  5. Pair the transmitter and receiver
    Using the microphone with smartphones, tablets, or computers

Transmitter

  1. If you need to capture audio from two different subjects, plug a microphone into each of the” ports.
  2. Slide the power switch to the ON position (the LED indicator will light up blue).
  3. Use the clip on the back of the unit to attach the transmitter to a belt, or it simply can be placed into a pocket.

Receiver

  1. Mount the receiver to your smartphone, tablet, or computer.
  2. Using a TRRS cable, insert the locked plug into the receiver’s ‘UNE OUT” jack.
  3. Plug the other connector into the audio Jack of your smartphone.
  4. Plug your earphones Into the “ ****– port to monitor sound.

Transmitter and receiver pairing

Please follow the steps below:

  1. Press the channel selector button on the transmitter. The LED screen will display the channel (CH) number.
  2. The receiver will connect with the transmitter automatically.
  3. Change channels until you could get very clear feedback.

How to connect the transmitter and receiver
If you lose or damage the transmitter or receiver, or need to reconnect them, please follow the steps below:

  1. Turn the power switch of the transmitter to the ON position.
  2. Press and hold the channel selector button on the transmitter until the screen flashes.
  3. Turn the power switch on the receiver to the ON position.
  4. Wait for about 3-5 seconds until the receiver light turns off.
  5. Press the channel selector button on the transmitter.

If the LED indicators of the transmitter and receiver stay blue, the system has been connected. If not, try 1-5 steps again.
Using the microphone with DSLR cameras, audio recorders, and other recording devices
Transmitter For help setting up the transmitter, please refer to the “Transmitter section on page 5.
Receiver

  1. Mount the receiver to your camera, audio recorder, or other audio/video recording devices.
  2. With the TRS cable, insert the other end of the connecting cable into the receiver “LINE our jack.
  3. Plug the 3.5mm connector into the audio jack of your camera.
  4. Plug your earphones into the ” ****” port to monitor sound.
  5. Slide the power switch to the ON position (the LED indicator will light up blue).

NOTE For help distinguishing between TRS and TRRS cables, refer to the “What’s the difference?” section on page 3.
