ATTENTION

  • This appliance must not be used by children. Keep the appliance and the cable cord out of the reach of children.
  • Keep all plastic bags and packaging components out of the reach of children. They are potentially dangerous.
  • Do not connect to the mains without checking that the voltage on the rating plate and that of your household are the same.
  • VERY IMPORTANT: Do not immerse the food slicer in water.
  • ATTENTION: The blade is very sharp. Manipulate it very carefully. After using always set the cutting guide to the minimum.
  • Use always the sliding carriage shield (4) and the shield pusher (5) placed in its place, only avoid it in case the size or shape of the food does not allow it is in use.
  • Always disconnect it from the mains when you do not use it and before assembling / disassembling or when cleaning.
  • Don’t allow children play with the appliance. Keep the appliance out of the reach of children.
  • This appliance has been designed for its intermittent use. It must not be used uninterruptedly for periods of over 7 minutes. After the said period allow the appliance to cool.
  • Do not use to cut bones or frozen food.
  • This appliance has been designed for domestic use only.
  • The cleaning and maintenance done by users, can not be done by children without any supervision.
  • If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or by its after-sales service or similar qualified personnel in order to avoid a danger.

INSTRUCTIONS OF USE

  • Place the food slicer over a flat surface.
  • Adjust the thickness required with the thickness regulator (3). Tho thickness indicator (2) may be used as a guide.
  • Place a dish or a tray on the left side of the food slicer,
  • Place the food on the sliding carriage (4) and uso the shield-pusher group (5) to press 1t slightly on to the cutting guide(?}.
  • Plug the appliance into the mains.
  • To start working the appliance push the on switch{1}to the I position (remains flexed)or ll (pulse functioning).
  • With the food slicer working, move the sliding carriage shield forwards and backwards.

MAINTENANCE ANO CLEANING

• Before you proceed to cleaning the appliance make sure the item is unplugged from the mains.
• The shield-pusher group (5) may be cleaned with soap and water. Never use the dishwasher.
• To clean the sliding carriage (4), it can be removed from the body of the food slicer. Slide the carriage (4) left wards and press upwards the disassemble pusher (9) to take out the sliding carriage (4).
• To put it back. place it into the flanges guide. press the disassemble pusher and slide it rightwards.
• The blade (6) and the carriage (4). can be cleaned with a damp cloth.
• From time to time. it is convenient to remove the blade for a better cleaning. Unroll the blade axle (8) by turning clockwise and take it out with care. To fix. rt again and place the blade axle l8l turn it anticlockwise.
• Oo not use abrasive or chemical products. metallic scourers. etc. which may deteriorate tho surfaces of the appliance.

ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION

• Dispose the appliance according to the local garbage regulations.
• Never throw it away to the rubbish. So you will help to the improvement of the environment.
