Safe and effective training can only be achieved if the machine is properly assembled, properly maintained and used. Make sure all users are familiar with all warnings and precautions of this machine.

  • Your physician’s advice is essential if you are taking medication that affects your heart rate, blood pressure, or cholesterol level.
  • Please always pay attention to your body signals, improper use of the machine may affect your health. If you experience any symptoms (including headache, chest pain, irregular heartbeat, shortness of breath, dizziness, or any discomfort), stop exercising immediately and consult your physician, get permission before training again.

  • Please use this machine on stable and horizontal ground level, and put a protective layer on the floor or carpet to prevent a floor from being damaged. Make sure the distance between the  machine and each obstacle is at least 1.6 ft (0.5m).
  • Please check all screws and nuts are properly tightened before using the machine.
  • The safe use of the machine can only be guaranteed if the regular maintenance and repairs of undertaken, and worn out and broken parts are changed.
  • Please follow the instructions in this manual to use this machine. Please stop using and operating immediately when you find any defective parts or hear any abnormal sound.
  • Make sure all issues are resolved before using it again.
  • Please wear sports clothes, sports shoes, or other proper clothes. Loose-fitting clothing is not recommended, as loose clothing may get caught in the machine, hindering the operation and possibly causing an injury.
  • This machine is only for home use. The Maximum user weight is 300lbs.
  • The overall performance of the machine and all moving parts must be checked regularly to ensure the safety of the machine.
  • If the moving parts are damaged, please do not use the machine until the parts are repaired.
  • Keep the children away from the machine. The equipment is not for children to use or play with. They can injure themselves accidentally.

Care & Maintenance

  • Do not store the machine in a place exposed to direct sunlight, wind and rain, or with high humidity. If needed, please pack the machine to keep children away from touching or playing with it.
  • Please check if there’s rust or cracks after long-term storage.
  • Please understand that for the consumable parts, the wear and tear may also occur even with proper maintenance.
  • For long-term use of this machine, please wipe the dust regularly. Do not water it directly, or wipe with gasoline, abrasive powder, etc. Otherwise, it might cause cracks on the parts  or main body, electric shock or fire. Please use Dilute neutral detergent for maintenance.

Before starting any training, please consult your physician, especially for those who are over 35 years old or with pre-existing health conditions. Please read all instructions before using the machine.

Assembly Instructions

Preparatory work:

  • A. Please make sure there has enough space around the machine before assembly.
  • B. Ensure that you have the right tool.
  • C. Check the parts and the hardware first.

Step 1: Fix the front and rear tubes to the main frameMERACH-S08

  1. Use the cross wrench (A) to lock rear foot tube (66) to the main frame (42) with square neck bolts (37),  arc washers (10), and cap nuts (31).
  2. Use the cross wrench (A) to lock the front foot tube (35) to the main frame (42) with square neck bolts (37), arcwashers (10),  and cap nuts (31).

Step 2: Lock the back cushion on the welded seatMERACH-S08-Recumbent-
Exercise-Bike-fig- \(4\)

  1. Use the Allen key (B) to lock the seat cushion (72) to the welded seat (80) with the hexagon socket pan head bolts (12) and flat washers (71).
  2. Use the umbrella handle knob (77) through the flat washer (76) and then through the groove in the welded seat (80) and the screw hole on the back cushion to lock in the  welded seat (80).
    Note : The hexagon cheese head screw (75) plays a limiting role, to be stuck in the bottom of the groove as shown in the figure.

Step 3: Lock the rear handle to the welded seatMERACH-S08-Recumbent-

Use the cross wrench (A) to lock the rear handle (62) on the welded seat (80) with square neck bolts (64), flat washers (71) and cap nuts (31).

Step 4: Tighten the adjustment tube to the main frameMERACH-S08

  1. Use the Allen key (B) to install the adjustment tube (69) with hexagon socket pan head bolts (70), spring washers (11) and flat washers (71) to lock on the main fram
    Note : Hexagon socket pan head bolts (70) should be concentric at the same time in turn.

  2. Remove the cable hole plug (55) pre-locked on the main frame, and connect the handle wire (65) to the handle chip trunk (32) as shown in the following picture

  3. Then insert the terminal into the wire hole on the main frame (42), and then plug it back into the wire hole plug (55) as shown in Figure P2.

Step 5: Install the resistance adjusting knob & handlebar postMERACH-S08

  1. Remove the cross pan head screw (81) and arc washer (82) pre-locked on the resistance adjusting knob (6a) with the cross wrench (A).

  2. Put the trim line(6b)down through the square hole of the handlebar post(5).
    Note :Before connecting the wires, please adjust the resistance knob to the maximum resistance so that the wires are in the longest state.

  3. Use the cross wrench (A) to lock the resistance adjusting knob (6a) on the handlebar post (5) with the cross pan head screw (81) and the arc washer (82).

  4. As shown in the figure below, connect the relay wire (4) with the grip relay wire (32), and the grip relay wire (13) with the needle sensor wire (33) as shown in Figure P1.

  5. As shown in the figure below,connect the trim wire(6b) with the trim lower section wire(13) as shown in Figure P2.

  6. Use Allen key (B) to lock the handlebar post (5) to the main frame (42) with hexagon socket pan head bolt (12), spring washer (11) and arc washer (10).

Step 6: Install the handrailMERACH-S08-Recumbent-Exercise-Bike-fig-

Use the Allen key (B) to tighten the handrail (8) with the hexagon socket pan head bolts (12), spring washers (11) and arc washers (10) to the handlebar post (5).

Step 7: Assemble the monitor and the pedalsMERACH-S08-Recumbent-Exercise-
Bike-fig- \(10\)

  1. Remove the cross plate head screw (2) pre-locked on the monitor (1) with the cross wrench (A) as shown in Figure P1.
  2. Then connect the monitor wire (1a) and grip relay line (3), monitor wire (1b) and relay wire (4) are connected as shown in Figure P2.
  3. Then use the tool cross wrench (A) to lock the monitor (1) with the cross pan head screws (2) locked on the table bracket of the handlebar post (5) as shown in Figure P3.
  4. Assemble the left and right pedals (39L) and (39R) with the straps
  5. As shown in Figure P4, turn the bolt of the right pedal (39R) clockwise by hand to the crank (41), and then lock it clockwise with the cross wrench (A).
  6. Similarly, turn the bolt of the left pedal (39L) by hand counterclockwise to the crank (41), and then lock it counterclockwise with the cross wrench (A).
    Note : The left and right pedals (39L) and (39R) should be kept in a locked state at all times during the exercise

Step 8: Fix the bottle cageMERACH-S08-Recumbent-Exercise-Bike-fig-

  1. Remove the cross pan head self-tapping screw (83) pre-locked on the handlebar post (5) with the cross wrench (A).
  2. Then use the cross wrench (A) to tighten the bottle cage (84)with the cross head selftapping screw (83) to lock on the handlebar post (5).

Product Usage Instructions

Seat Cushion Adjustment Instructions

  1. With one hand, turn the large pin knob (68), loosen it slightly and pull it outward.
  2. With the other hand, grasp the seat weld (80) and move it left and right to the desired position.
  3. Loosen the large pin knob (68) to adjust it to your position (when you hear the “click” sound, the large pin knob (68) is already in the hole of the adjustment tube (69)).
  4. Finally, retighten the knob.

Back Cushion Adjustment Instructions

Turn the umbrella handle knob (77) loosely to adjust the back cushion (74) up and down to a suitable position, and then tighten the umbrella handle knob (77) .

Resistance Adjustment Instructions

Rotate the resistance adjusting knob (6A) with the arrow aligned with the gear digit as shown.

  • Rotate clockwise to increase resistance.

The number 8 represents the maximum resistance, the number 1 represents the minimum resistance

Machine Movement Instructions

Drag back and forth by grasping the rear foot tube (66) with your hand and the front foot tube (35) touching the ground.

Rear Foot Tube Adjustment Instructions

Please adjust the twelve eccentric foot sleeve (56) on the rear foot tube (66) as needed to make the exercise bike stable without shaking.

Batteries Installation Instructions

Remove the back cover by hand (Figure A), then prepare the batteries (Figure B), then install two batteries, cover the back cover (Figure C), and the battery assembly is completed (Figure D).MERACH-S08-Recumbent-Exercise-Bike-

Exercise Monitor With Pulse

FUNCTIONAL BUTTONS:

  • MODE – Press to select function.Long press to reset time/distance/calorie
  • SET – To set the values of time、distance、calories and pulse when not in scan mode.
  • RESET – Press to reset time、distance、calories and pulse.

FUNCTION AND OPERATIONS:

  1. SCAN:
    Press“ MODE” button until SCAN” appears, and the monitor will switch the display every 6 seconds in the following order :Time、speed、distance、ODO、calorie、pulse .

  2. TIME:

  3. Count the total time from exercise start to end.

  4. Press the “ MODE” button until “TIME” appears, and press SET” button to set exercise time. When the“SET” is zero, the monitor will stop 1 second after the start of the time.

  5. SPEED: Display current speed.

  6. DIST:

  7. Count the distance from the exercise from start to end.

  8. Press the “ MODE” button until DIST” appears, and press the “ SET” button to set the exercise distance.
    When the“SET” is zero, the monitor will stop about 1 second after the start of the time.

  9. ODO:
    The total distance that this function is refers to from battery capacity period runs.

  10. CALORIES:
    (1)Count the total calories from exercise from start to end.
    (2)Press the “ MODE” button until “CAL” appears, and press the “ SET” button to set exercise calories.
    When the“ SET” is zero, the monitor will stop about 1 second after the start of the time.

  11. PULSE RATE:

  12. Press the MODE button until“ PULSE” appears. Before measuring your pulse rate, please place the palms of your hands on both of your contact pads and the monitor will show your current heart beat rate in beats per minute (BPM) on the LCD after 6~7 seconds.
    Remark : During the process of pulse measurement, because of the contact jamming, the measurement value may be higher than the virtual pulse rate during the first 2~3 seconds, then will return to normal level. The measurement value can not be regarded as the basis of medical treatment.

  13. Press MODE” button until pulse” appears, and press SET” button to set exercise calories. When the“SET”is zero, the computer will stop about 1 second after the start of the time.

Warm-up

Do stretches before exercising. Warm muscles are easier to stretch, so start with a 5-10 minute warm-up, then do some stretches shown below – 5 times, 10 seconds or more per leg. Do it again after the workoutMERACH-S08-Recumbent-

  1. Stretch down
    Bend your knees slightly, slowly bend your body forward, relax your back and shoulders, and try to touch your toes with your hands. Hold for 10-15 seconds, then relax. Repeat 3 times (see Figure 1).

  2. Seated hamstring stretch
    Sit with one leg straight. Bring the other leg in so that it is snug on the inside of the straightened leg. Try to touch your feet with your hand’s toe. Hold for 10-15 seconds, then relax. Repeat 3 times for each leg (see Figure 2).

  3. Calf and Achilles tendon stretch
    Stand with both hands against the wall or a tree, put one foot behind another. Keep the back leg straight and your heel on the ground, lean toward a wall or a tree. Hold for 10-15 seconds, then relax. Repeat 3 times for each leg (see Figure 3).

  4. Quadriceps stretch
    Reach back with your right hand, grab your right foot and slowly pull it toward your hips until you feel the muscles in the  front of your thigh tense.Hold for 10-15 seconds, then relax. Repeat 3 times for each leg (see Figure4).

  5. Sartorius (inner thigh muscle) stretch
    Sit with your feet facing each other and your knees facing out.  Grab your feet with both hands and pull toward your groin. Hold for 10-15 seconds, then relax. Repeat 3 times (see Figure5).
